Chapter 36 Chapter thirty six
I floated into the room where my body was kept. My lips has gone pale and my skin dry. The alter kept draining my blood through a thin tube. Enraged, i tore the tube off my body and tried entering into my skin.
“Master, if you go in there now, you won't be able to fight much because you're almost short of blood now” Finly warned and i paused. Suddenly, we heard footsteps and voices approaching.
“Its almost a year now and that stupid Princess is still yet to wake up. The alter isn't awaking because the princess isn't.” Liriah said examining my face.
“Someone was here” Rexy said and we froze. Could they see us.?
“The tube was pulled out. Has that stupid Reno broken from my spell.?” He roared. “Reno was put under a spell.? This is gonna be much worst than i think. How'll i get my blood back.?” I panicked floating from one end to another.
Patiently, i waited for them to leave, relieved they didn't suspect that its only my body that was there. I went to my body and touched my chest. I slowly began to dissolve into my flesh. Finally.!
Coughing weakly, i sat up on the alter removing the chains used to bind me. Surprisingly, all my acquired powers manifested in reality. “Master please be careful, your energy level is only forty percent” Finly warned again.
“I'll try Finly. I need to save my friends and city.” I said looking towards the door with determination.
“I need to find Reno first”
“Running a scan of the palace master. Please wait a moment” Finly replied. The door suddenly bursted open and an armed guard walked in. “She's awake…!” he shouted and tried running out but i drew out an invisible sword from the air and made a slicing motion. He dropped dead instantly.
“That's the coolest master” Finly praised. I've found the…. She was cut short as Rexy and liriah walked in again. “Ohh noo….
“Oww she's finally awake.! I've been waiting so long. Time to get my powers in full… hahahaha… liriah laughed happily advancing towards me as i retreated. “Don't try to run away moron, i must get those powers” she continued and tried striking me with her lightning power but I countered with a golden shield.
Her eyes widened in shock and i felt satisfied. Rexy clapped mockingly moving towards us. “Got a grip on how to use your powers.? Let's see what you've got” he said and instantly millions of needles flew towards me with terrifying speed. I tried using the shield but Finly warned “master those needles aren't ordinary”
Swiftly, i dodged to the side and the needles struck the wall and a great part of it collapsed to dust on the floor. “Amazing girl, i wonder who taught you all these. But I'll still pity you. Go back and complete the ritual and I might spare your life when i become king of the whole world…!!
I laughed “whole world.? Are you that ambitious.? You don't only want hell now..? I mocked. “Why'll i want only hell when I can gain the whole world.? You think i just skipped being the heir apparent in few years time for nothing.? No, i had an ambition far more than that. And with your powers, i get it just like this” he said with a snap of his fingers.
“I'm not going to be your sacrificial lamb.! Release my friends and I'll spare you” i ordered pointing towards them. “We're wasting too much time on her Rexy. Let's see how much she's got before its too late” liriah urged eyeing me suspiciously.
“She’s just full of herself as usual. I know how to handle stubborn kids of her type” Rexy scoffed and immediately, a black pothole appeared and a strong whirlwind began to drag me in.
“The black of eternal torment.! Isn't this Lord Lima's power.?” Finly exclaimed as i held a broken wall as the strong wind blew my face and gown relentlessly. The block i was holding broke off and the wind began to carry towards the bottom hole with amazing speed.
“Master.! We can't go in there.! We'll be trapped and become puppets to Rexy” Finly said urgently. Quickly, i drew a sword in the air and it appeared. I stabbed it deep into the ground with all my strength. By now, my legs had already gone into the hole.
“Master..! I've found the the antidote to stop this. Gosh I'm so amazing master…” Finly blabbered on and my patience snapped. “Say it already. Don't you see we are in danger” i lashed out angrily.
“Who's she talking to.?” Hahaha stop being overdramatic Emma we aren't scared of you” Lima mocked striking the ground repeatedly with her lightning and it began to break, the sword slowly pulling out.
“Summon the spirit of light.! Light can't stand darkness.! Remember that music you blew on the flute? Hum it.! Finly urged. I quickly complied and immediately, i began to glow with heavenly celestial light, momentarily blinding them. The light grew brighter and blasted them meters away from me. I began to float lightly in the air.
“You…. you've cultivated your powers.?” Rexy asked in fear backing away. I smiled and didn't reply. I just made a wrapping gesture with my fingers and a huge and thick chain bounded them tightly. I snapped my fingers and huge roses in their mouths preventing them screaming and drawing attention.
“Perfect. You look beautiful” i mocked and began to float away. “We need to be fast master. Your energy level is low already.” Finly said again and i looked at my dimming tattoo. “Take me to Reno” I ordered.
She led me to an underground bunker with heavy security doors. I blasted the door with a snap from fingers. As i wanted to rush in, Finly quick stopped me. “Laser beams. Step on it, you trigger a hidden mechanism.” She warmed and i stopped and looked closely. Then i saw them, twisted red thin lights.
I scoffed and flexed my muscles. “Easy peasy….”
“What are you trying to do Master.?” She asked in fear. “gymnastics of course. Watch and learn” i replied. And without waiting for her to talk again, i did the most amazing stunt. I swiftly dodged the beams like I've been practicing my whole life.
We got to Reno, completely unconscious in a pool of eerie liquid. “To break the spell master, just cut your finger a bit and drop the blood into his mouth.” She said and i did so.
Reno coughed and slowly opened his eyes. “Emma.! I knew you'll come to save us.!” He shouted excitedly, hugging me tightly. My heart began to beat fast in a strange way and i hugged him back too sighing softly.
Finly cleared her throat and i came back to reality. We…we..need to find…find selah” i stuttered my cheeks turning rosy as i distangled from the hug. “She's locked up in the dungeon. Rexy wants to harass her” he said urgently moving towards the exit.
But as he got to the blown up door, a huge blast of energy flew him back. “Not so fast boy.. what did brother always say about enjoying the show.?” A voice said.
“Oh no…. Our energy level is just ten percent remaining master”
