Chapter 6: The human world.
Amaarae's POV
I looked at him stunned, the memories coming back at me, I didn't have a place so I didn't understand the meaning of this nuisance.
He checked, his stern eyes hovering round my body, waiting for my next move. I didn't wish to go with him so I stood up quietly and walked ahead. I mumbled quietly, “ Thank you for the fruits.”
He didn't agree to that. He sped to my front, his nose flaring and his eyes snapped, switching color to a darkish red shade.
I moved back slowly in fear, amazed. He turned his head, making a crack sound, revealing his real self.
A majestic and taller man stood before me with his pale skin and his long thin fingers that had long nails rooted at the end.
I stared at him curiously. I looked up to the moon and I said menacingly, “ The sun would be coming out very soon.”
He laughed coldly, folding his hands in a sassy manner and walked closer to me, hitting me with a broad chest as he pushed me to the tree.
“ Ow.” I yelled, when the back of my head hit the tree viciously, tears escaped my eyes and ran down my face.
His hand hit the tree trunk making one of the branches fall as he snarled viciously. I whimpered and quivered, he nodded in satisfaction, seeing the effect he had on me.
I muttered, “ Please.” He smirked and changed to his angelic form, leaving my side and flying up a tree to sit on the tree branch, while he looked down on me and sneered.
I was pissed off, I couldn't leave nor run. He was pretty happy, I sat on the floor, right opposite him, watching him dangle to his dainty legs, whistling and ominous sound that drove chills down my spine.
He asked obnoxiously, “ Love it.” I threw my face to the side, ignoring his annoying question.
I counted the minutes with my tongue as I waited for the sun to rise so he could turn into a pile of ashes..
It grew colder and darker, the beasts howled in the dark..they marked their territory but understood that the devil was here.
He sat there nonchalantly, waiting for me. He made it obvious that he wasn't leaving without me and I didn't have a choice, I tried to prove I had one by staying down there.
He threw the fruits at me, he wasn't missing as they all hit my head. He became more specific with it, they were hitting my boobs and I gasped as I scratched my nipples.
And I thought, “ I was in heat.” I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind, I didn't want to consider it and act out of line.
He had a vicious smile on his face as he asked coldly, “ Wolf.” I didn't look, but he threw a bigger fruit at my eyes but this time I caught it without looking up and I threw it right back.
He laughed hard and commented,” You learn fast.” That was a compliment but I blatantly ignored it, I rolled my eyes and sighed.
I mumbled quietly, “ Just let me go.” He chuckled and said, “ No.” It was cold and firm.
And I asked, “ Why?” There wasn't an answer, he didn't say a thing, he just continued munching the juicy fruits that it's sweet liquid dripped down his lips and he licked them.
I salivated, my stomach rumbled and he peeked at me. He waved the fruit in his hands, “ Want to eat?” I shook my head stubbornly.
I gripped my stomach, laying on the ground in pain, letting the cold pierce my back as I cried silently.
It was worse, very worse.
I cried out loudly, “ Just let me go. Please.” I was pleading but he had a sly look in his eyes, he placed his hand on his chin, tapping it until he said,
“ No.”
Then he commented, “ Your mom is a fighter.” I grew weak at that statement, I heard this a hundred times from the people in the village whenever they compared me with her.
At some point, I hated her. She left me but still hunted me with her shadows.
He continued gently and oddly, “ She loved you and did everything in her powers to protect you.” I snarled, and shut him up with a yell, “ Don't tell me that bullshit.”
He was calm, not agitated.
I was breathing heavily and my face was red..he said calmly, “ it's coming.” I looked confused and I asked, “ What?” His smile paused and he said, “ What do you mean by what?”
His eyes snapped and the tree he sat on shook violently, the ground shook too and my body was trembling.
It was his doing, this was his power. I whispered through my tight lips, “ You control nature.” He laughed and said, “ No.”
Everything stopped immediately and he threw a cold look at me, he said nonchalantly, “ This is the first time.”
I finally understood what he meant, he meant that it was the first time that I had ever changed.
I shook my head and said in a low voice, “ I have never turned.” He was intrigued, and he snapped after thinking and contemplating my words, “ Stop lying.”
He was very sure about his words like he knew more about wolves than a werewolf so I said firmly, “ You are a vampire not a werewolf.”
He snickered and asked, “ Does that matter?” I grew quiet, pursued my lips and said, “ What do you want? “
He said without a breath and his gaze all on me, “ You.”
My heart went pacing, my face grew hot as I looked away..my fingers played with one another and I said, “ Huh.”
“ Heh.” He chuckled.
He said, “ Your mom.” He was reminiscing about her, he smiled widely as if he recalled all the tiny details about her.
They were blue in my head so I moved closer and said, “ Tell me more.” He folded his arms and said, “ Why should I?” I rolled my eyes and I was about to walk away, when he jumped down the tree and stepped on a twig, making a snap.
His eyes glowed, he grew closer to me. He held me but at that moment, rain started pouring heavily..it was drenching us, we were both wet and soaked.
We heard a growl, there were red eyes in the bushes..It was a werewolf.
My heart skipped a beat and he disappeared without a trace..
I yelled, “ I will go with you.”
My voice echoed..
