The car was running smoothly on the way to the company. Harriet in the back seat was eating a nutritious breakfast while browsing Facebook. The negative news about Eric with a picture of his pale face was all over the world.
After reading the detailed news, Harriet couldn't help despising Eric.
She knew that Eric had misbehavior, but what about these dirty hobbies! He would probably be put in prison for two or three year for these charges.
Thinking of Wesley who had elegant smile but fierce action, Harriet shuddered and leaned on Charlene, whispering:"Charlene, does Wesley... have a fiancee?"
Charlene glanced at her, "How did you get the rumors?"
"Those journalists!"Harriet bit her spoon and said, "I heard that Wesley's fiancee was from a rich family. They had a bad relationship because they were together for the sake of the business marriage instead of true love. As a man, Wesley needed women to fulfill his impulse, so..."
Harriet didn't finish her words as the driver was there, but she knew Charlene understood what she said.
Charlene just looked at Harriet twice and didn't response her.
Harriet didn't notice the complex flashes in her eyes, but her voice was lower, "Charlene, would you like to find a few young girls? I guess Wesley should be tired of me for the passing two years."
"Wesley is kind for you. Why, you wanna leave Wesley?"
How dared Harriet abandon the man!
Wesley was generous for her, never checked how much money she had spent. In the past two years, she secretly saved a lot money which was enough for her living spending for several years, and enough for her younger brother to go abroad for treatment. She was going to leave Wesley.
In addition, Harriet had been Wesley's lover for two years. It was not a short time. but Harriet kept thinking that if she said something wrong offending him. He would certainly destroy her. She just wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible.
After thinking for a while, Harriet smiled at Charlene, "I'm sorry I spent so much money from Wesley but did not made any achievement these two years. Please help me hunt some ladies for Wesley at your spare time."
Charlene said nothing but pulled the car door and got off."Hurry up, the partners are waiting for us!"
Harriet was confused with what she said and tried to ask some questions, but she kept her mouth shut as she saw the rigid face of the agent.
The show in which Harriet played the heroine was ruined as Eric was arrested. It would not be broadcast even it passed the reviewing. She showed no worry as her agent Charlene would take everything under control.
Charlene made an appointment with two jewelers. Although the brands of the jewels are not international, they had their loyal fans. The most important thing was that endorsement fee was pretty attractive.
They signed the contract smoothly and then went to pick a TV script, and then set the filming date fast.
Two days after Wesley came back, he flew to Singapore for a business trip. Harriet needed to memorize the lines of the new drama were thrilled that he left. She texted him with flattering words.
Wesley always spoke short, and was the same in text messages:when I come back, compensate me.
"..."
She was a human, not a machine! Did he want to torment her thoroughly?
Soon, Harriet joined the filming again.
She was still the main actress. Of course, she would be the heroine because of Wesley. In addition, this drama is invested by Pleasure Media with the old screenwriter. She thought she would take off in the entertainment industry!
Harriet just graduated from the art school, having little cooperation experience with other actors. In order to leave a good impression, she deliberately sent a person to buy dim sum for everyone on the set, and greeted them with smiling.
"Well, everyone knows you are a bitch. Do not pretend to be a nice girl."the young woman standing next to Harriet threw the dim sum the the ground, disdainful.
Harriet looked at her and finally recognized who she was.
This woman seemed to be Irene Whitty who was from the same school with her. It was said that Irene was the actual heroine who had survived from six auditions to get the chance. Irene thought that she would be able to to be a well-known star for this drama, but it was destroyed by Harriet.
Harriet would be mad too if her role was stolen by someone else but Irene apparently wanna trouble her by dumping the dim sum.
Harriet considered what she could do to fight back. She bent down to pick up the food and throw it to the trash can, smiling with her red lips, "Miss Whitty, what do you mean?"
"I said that you just had a pretty face and did not have any acting skills. The reason you could be a protagonist was only because you were someone's lover!"Irene said out without showing any emotion. She lost the chance to be a main actress which made her pissed off.
Everyone kept silence, waiting for the fight between the two women.
That must be true! Who could be a protagonist except the one from rich family or whom the parents were also stars?
Paparazzi photographed Harriet who often went in and out of various hotels and restaurants with a man. Although the man could not be identified, he was very possible the lover of Harriet.
