They packed up together, and it took no more than half an hour to finish the packing. The apartment seemed a bit empty. Harriet put the door card on the dining table and they left. Charlene came to meet them at the moment.
"Harriet, have you packed up?"Charlene looked at the suitcase in Colin's hand and spoke politely, but she was not that respect her as before.
Harriet nodded.
Charlene must be sent by Wesley to come over here. She let go and smiled,"Please go in and check to see if something is missing."
Colin pouted, and muttered,"What! He send someone to check the house before we leave! What a great man."
"Colin."
Colin shut up and pushed the suitcase downstairs as Harriet stopped him talking.
Charlene didn't go into the room either, just handed a document to Harriet, which was the termination of the contract."You signed it for five years but now the company will not ask you for any compensation even though the deadline has not come."
Assistant Moor called before and asked her to take charge of Harriet. It seemed that the relationship between Wesley and Harriet had ended.
In this case, she thought that Harriet did not have to stay in Pleasure Media and enjoyed such good resources, so she came to Harriet with a letter of cancellation today when she was free.
"Okay."Harriet took it with a smile and signed her name sharply under the contract.
After all, in the past two years, her jobs had been provided by Wesley. Since they have broken up, of course, she could not continue to stay in his entertainment company.
Harriet signed the contract and returned it to Charlene. Charlene didn't read it. She closed the document and left with Harriet.
After a 20-minute drive, Harriet and Colin returned to their residence in the western suburbs.
She told Colin about the termination of the contract with the entertainment company frankly. Colin said,"It's okay, Harriet, I can find a job. I support you! You can just stay at home!"
"You are only nineteen years old, who would offer you job?"Harriet rolled her eyes and said,"I have money, as long as you prepare for the university enrollment, I will be very satisfied."
"I do not have to go to the college, right?"Colin was upset when he heard that he was going to finish his education."I was going to join the army just because I didn't want to go to the college. You still ask me to do that in the end. It is difficult for me to pass the enrollment test."
Harriet immediately changed her expression and turned around, whispering,"Fine, you are an adult right now. I can't interfere you anymore, whatever you love."
"Harriet, I don't mean that."
"..."
Colin compromised as he did not want to piss Harriet off,"Okay, I will go to the college. Please do not be mad. You just have the operation and you need to take a good rest and keep positive mood."
Harriet glanced at him,"You promised. I'll buy you books in a few days for the preparation!"
"..."
Harriet lost her job and could stayed at home most of her time. Colin was worried about her health. He checked the recipes and cooked soup and nutritious meals for her every day.
She looked better than ever before for his caring for half a month.
Harriet borrowed some high school senior's books from her friend and bought some exercise books for Colin. She planed to find a tutor for him but he strongly refused.
After arranging the preparation for Colin, Harriet was going to re-sign an entertainment company.
She studied at the best art school and loved acting. She did not know what she could do except acting.
Those girlfriends who had wanted to be her close friends with her before learned that she had canceled the contract with Pleasure Media. They promised to help her find jobs, but secretly rejoiced by her unemployment.
Harriet didn't care.
Without the backing of Wesley, she was just a newcomer from an art school, and only the entertainment company had the right to decide whether to choose her. She finally signed a contract with a studio opened by a big star.
After signing the contract, Harriet got a maid role in a TV series, with few shots and poor pay. In the past, Harriet did not care such script at all.
On the day of starting, Harriet dressed up and went to the studio early.
The director often appeared in various award ceremonies. She had seen him twice, but she was unfamiliar with him. However, some actors had cooperated with her before. She greeted them, but they just wanted to ignore her.
Harriet just kept smiling. She naturally did not have a makeup artist to help her for her little role. She had to get the clothes and made up herself.
No big deal, let's start over!
