Victoria's POV

I was awoken up by the loud alarm of a clock. Groaning softly, I opened my eyes and noticed alpha Derick was putting off the alarm clock.

''I'm sorry I forget to shut it down.''he apologized with a beam before placing a kiss on my forehead.

''Good morning.'' He greeted

''Morning.'' I responded with a yawn while sitting on the bed. Alpha Derick wanted to say something, but the soft knock on his door stopped him.

''That should be your breakfast.'' He stood on his feet and went for the door. I watched him strolled to the door and noticed he was already dressed. He opened the door and took the tray from the maid before closing it.

''Here you have it.'' He said as he placed the tray of tea and biscuits on the bed.

''Thanks.'' I smiled and placed the tray on my laps. I took a sip of the hot tea and a bite of the biscuit.

''You are already dressed.'' I said while staring at him.

''Yeah, wolverines meeting is schedule to hold this morning.'' He said which made me nod my head and said

''I'm not allowed to come along?.'' I asked

''No, you are coming…'' He paused and gave me a pleading look

''I know you want to take your revenge on them and so do I, but we have a serious case in hand, and I promise after everything is okay we will know what to do to them.'' He pleaded, while I heaved a sigh and nodded my head in agreement.

''Thanks!'' He kissed my cheek and smiled widely at me, which I returned.

''Do you feel sore anywhere.'' He asked concerned

''No, I'm perfectly fine.'' I assured him, while he beamed and moved away from me

''A dress is here for you, take your bath and get ready, I'll be back in a minute.'' I nodded my head to his words and watch him leave the room.

''That was amazing.'' My wolf whispered in my head while I blushed and continued eating. After eating, I left the room and made my way to alpha Derick's bathroom. I took a quick bath and tied a towel around my chest before leaving the bathroom. I came back to the room and picked up the blue fitted dress alpha Derick got for me.

Smiling happily, I cleaned my body and creamed it before putting on new sets of panties he got for me. After wearing my underwear, I sprayed some body spray on my body and put on the dress. I packed my hair in a bun, put on my sandals and just then the door opened, and Alpha Derick came walking in.

''What took you so long.'' I asked with a frown

''I was having a meeting with Anthony.'' He replied and pulled me to himself.

''Jezz.'' He groaned and moved his nose to the crook of my neck where his mark was imprinted. I felt him sniffles deeply, Which Forced a soft moan out of my lips.

''Mmmmmm!.'' I arched my head backwards, giving him more room to sniffles my scent. Groaning softly, he sniffles more deeply before pulling away from me.

''You are beautiful.'' He muttered out which made my heartbeat accelerates

''I thought you would have a second thought because of my appearance.'' I spoke in relief

''Bullshit. I love you, I love your personality, you are my mate my better half and no appearance you take can't change that.'' He said those words in a sincere tone before placing a soft kiss on my lips and pulled away.

''Let's go, we are already late.'' He said, while I nodded my head and left the room with him. We took the stairs down to the sitting room and met Anthony in the sitting room along with his father.

''Welcome back Victoria.'' Anthony greeted while I flashed him a big smile and moved my gaze to Derick's father who stared at me with stunned eyes.

''Greetings sir.'' I greeted while slightly lowering my head.

''Your news is everywhere, I'm really proud of you.'' He said with a proud smile on his face.

''Thanks.''

''We have to leave.'' Alpha Derick said those words, and we wanted to walk away, but the voice of someone stopped us.

''Victoria!'' She called out happily to me, and without turning around, I knew who it was.

''Mother!'' I replied, and was given a tight hug.

''Is this really you.'' She asked as she pulled away from me.

''Yes mother it's me, don't worry we will talk more when I get back.'' I said those words with a big smile on my face before leaving. I followed Alpha Derick out of the building and saw a Toyota ford was already waiting for us.

We both got inside the car and the driver drove off.

''Are you okay.'' Alpha Derick asked when he noticed I was in deep thought

''Yes.'' I replied and looked outside the window. Gently he pulled me to himself and made me rest my head on his shoulder while he tenderly strokes my hair.

''Are you scared because of the fight.'' He asked.

''No, but I'm scared of what Bernard would do.'' I murmured with a heavy sigh.

''He won't do anything, and besides I'm here, there is no need of you getting scared.'' He assured me with a soft kiss on my head. Sighing in relief, I relaxed in his arms, and none of us said a word until the car came to a halt In front of the same hotel we visited yesterday.

Alpha Derick came out of the car and stretched his hand to me, which I took and Left the car. We both went inside the hotel and this time we took the elevator and stopped at the sixth floor.

''Please don't do anything.'' He begged as we approached the door of the meeting.

''I will try my best.'' I assured him while he smiled widely at me and we both entered the hall. The hall was filled up with so many alphas, just like yesterday.

Majestically, I walked in with alpha Derick, ignoring the stares of everyone on us.

''Lets sit here.'' Alpha Derick points to empty seats while I nodded my head and took the seat.

I relaxed on the seat and moved my gaze to the direction of the high table In front of the hall. All the wolverines were seated, including alpha Lin who has a blank look on his face and also alpha golden who has a burnt face. Alpha golden held my gaze but quickly looked away which made me scoffed and looked away.

''Welcome everyone.'' Alpha Violet stood up from the high table and welcomed us.

''We all know why we are here, so let's just go straight to the point.'' The moment he said those words, an impatient alpha stood on his feet and said,

''This fight is just in five days, and none of us are ready'' He spoke angrily, while I sneered and looked away.

The hall became noisy as alphas debates on each other words, while alpha Derick and I just sat and watched in total silence.

''Calm down.'' Alpha Lin yelled as he stood on his feet and walked to the center of the hall.

''We are all reputable alphas from different packs and should act like One.'' He spoke Angrily which made the hall became silent. Sighing heavily, alpha Lin shook his head and moved his gaze to where alpha Derick and I were seated.

''Alpha Derick, you haven't said a word, neither have you made a suggestion.'' Alpha Lin said those words which made Alpha Derick groaned, but he didn't say a word, totally ignoring alpha Lin's words. Sighing heavily, alpha Lin moves his gaze to me and hesitated for a while before speaking up

''Prophecy has it that you are the one to lead this fight, so what do you have to say.'' He said those words while staring at me, bringing the attention of everyone to me.

''But you tried killing me, how then would I have led this fight.''? I spoke in an angry tone, but alpha Derick gave me a soft tap on my hand, and I knew what he meant. Heaving a sigh I stood on my feet and moved my gaze around, meeting the curious stares of every alpha on me, which I ignored.

''Well, firstly we need to have a meeting with the vampires, let's see the reason for this fight and see if we can stop and avoid it. ''I said those words while few alphas nodded their head in support.

''That's a wise idea, but we have no time on us.'' Alpha Lin explained.

''It's your choice to make.'' I Reluctantly Said those words and took my seat. Heated argument filled the room one more time until Alpha Golden spoke up.

''We will set the meeting, but only the wolverines will attend. We will inform you all how the meeting went.'' Some alpha agreed to his words while some refused saying the meeting should be a general one but after a Long debates they all concluded it should be only the wolverines.

The gathering came to an End, and Alpha Derick and I stood on our feet, ready to leave, but alpha violet stopped us and said

''Excuse me alpha Derick. You and your mate are joining for the meeting with the vampires, we will inform you once the date is set.'' Alpha Derick nodded his head and we both left the hall.
