"Eat a lot. You said you'd be so busy today." He said, pushing some of the food closer to her.

"I'm not a glutton." She said in annoyance and her eyes fell on the food. Different foods that he knew she liked. So bad, she stopped eating most because they reminded her of him. He always bought her her favorite things when he knew she was mad because that easily pacified her.

Did he still think she was still on that?

"What are these?" She asked, her eyes going up to him.

"Your favorite. That's why I said you should have your fill." He smiled and she scoffed lightly.

"I'll prefer just a cup of coffee. Thank you." She said and poured herself a cup of coffee which she took only a sip off, before getting up.

"Sorry you had to waste that amount of money, Liam." She patted his shoulder as she walked out of the restaurant.

Liam gulped in suprise as he stared at the filled table. She hadn't even moved her spoon from the position yet. He stood up immediately, running after her,

"I'll drop you -" The cab sped past him, cutting his words off and he sighed, knowing she had just left.

"Alexa." He muttered.



Alexa walked towards the warehouse the moment she got off the cab and she walked into the warehouse to meet the people waiting for her.

"Good morning ma'am." Doreen greeted the moment Alexa walked in.

"Good morning, Doreen." She nodded her greetings to the others that were available in the building.

"Where are the materials?" She asked and Doreen led the way to where the materials were kept.

Her phone vibrated and she checked it, her brows furrowing as she looked at the money which had suddenly been deducted from her account.

"What's wrong?" Doreen asked, walking back to her.

"A million dollars has been deducted from my account." She muttered in pure shock and Doreen's eyes widened as she collected the phone.

"How can that be possible? Why don't we go to the bank right now?" She asked, blinking.

"I think I will. Let's just check out the materials first." She shook her head in confusion as Doreen started walking. They soon got to the package and Doreen pulled it open.

Alexa stared at the clothes, "I didn't order these." She said.

Almost immediately, sounds of cars and the sirens of police vehicles filled the air. Alexandra turned back in shock as they rushed into her warehouse.

"Miss Chapman, you are under arrest for bribery and corruption, smuggling of goods and also for insider trading." The first man said as he calmly pulled out a handcuff and attached it to Alexa's hands.

"What the hell is this?" Alexandra glared at them in shock, glancing at Doreen. Doreen shook her head, poorly understanding what was going on. Whatever it was, it was really bad.

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say and do can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand these rights as they have been read to you?"

"Are you....." Alexandra's words were cut short as they dragged her out of the warehouse. Doreen grabbed the documents of the materials, following them immediately.

But what they didn't expect to see was the crowd of reporters and journalists outside?

Alexandra gasped.



The remote flung from Liam's hand as stared at the television.

"What the fvck is this!?" He growled, his jaw tightening hard as he grabbed his glass table from both sides, holding it tightly.

"What the hell am I seeing on the news?" It didn't take time for Miller to walk in, Antonia beside him.

"What are you doing here, dad? This is definitely not the right time for this." He muttered.

"No! What are you still doing here? All these is happening to that girl because you did that to her, Liam."

"I know and I'm paying for it! Do you know how much sleepless nights I've had? For five years, I haven't slept good until last night and that's because this woman was with me."

"Then what are you still doing here not going to free her from these shackles? " Miller hit his stick on the ground hardly.

"I will, dad. Because she's the person I love." Liam's eyes got hard and glassy as he blinked, licking his upper lips.

His hands ruffled his hair, "But that's if you give me space to think and breath."

Miller looked at his son carefully and released a sigh, "You'll need my help son, I have some legs in the force."

"That's not what I need, dad. Alexandra didn't do those things and I need proof of that. After that, I need people, willing to do anything for money." He said.

"What are you planning?" Antonia asked furrowing her brows.

"The person who did this to her, has to wear her shoes this time. I'll make them feel double of the pain she felt."



"I can't believe what you did, Stella." Someone muttered from the shadows as Stella lowered herself on his lower part.

"Of course, you can't." She muttered, sipping a cup of wine. His hand moved to her @ss slowly as he rubbed them and she let out a soft moan.

"Cheers to us ruling on top of the world." She whispered and he smirked.

"Don't let the man you love find out the nasty things you are doing with me." He said and she chuckled.

"He won't find out. Besides, I don't give a hoot about his love anymore. He has crossed me, he should see my wrath. I don't care who I fvck to do that, his uncle or his brother. Whoever I get is the best. As long as he can get me what I want without blinking an eye."

She sneered.
