The roughness of his palm grazing on her naked body was like the flames of hell soaked in heavenly bliss, she shut her eyes and stayed still never wanting the moment to end.
Luke gulped trying not to look at the body of his mate, he had turned off the light but to a wolf with super sight it was as useless as shouting at a deaf, her super stilled body in his hands were not helpful either, he just hoped that she would not flip her eyes open out of the blue and misunderstand him, seeing her subtle in his hand made her look exquisite, he could feel the heat crawling underneath his skin as he sucked in his breath.
Although she could not see his struggle she enjoyed knowing that he looked at her like a woman.
By the time he entered the room the lights were turned on with Grace at the switch, seeing the Alpha with his Luna in his hands she turned around.
Luke face had turned red.
"Turn off the lights" he said in a low voice and she did so before leaving on her own violiation, by then Luke had already stolen a glance of what he was avoiding, a glance that might be the most difficult thing to bury in his thoughts. It has even taken a lot of strength for him not to pounce of her after seeing her so unprotected.
He laid her on the bed stealing as much glances as he wished to in the moon litted room, he slowly folded the bed sheets over her body as a coverage, before shaking her awake.
She flipped her wet lashes open and the first sight she saw under the light of the moon was the redness of her husband face.
"I had fallen asleep in the.." She explained as she tried to rise up but Luke stopped her.
"Don't" he shunned.
If she rose up her cleavage would be exposed and that would make it harder.
She chuckled inwardly.
"How does someone sleep in the bathtub?" He asked.
"I do it all the time but it seems this time I managed to fall in" she said.
"Who brought me Out?" She asked and he turned his face way from him.
She waited for him to talk for a while but he didn't.
"You are my husband" she said.
"There is nothing wrong in you seeing me insecure, unprotected and fragile" he said.
"You ought to see all of me" she whispered seductively, but he stood up.
"Anyways I came here to thank you for that day" he said slowly turning his back against her.
"I see, even my body does not drive you mad" she said with a sad chuckle and he stopped.
"OK, Alpha Luke Rowley, I would like to reject.." She stopped for a breath.
"I would like to reject you, to reject this sham we call a marriage" she said standing up despite her nakedness, like she had reached the depths of shamelessness, she walked to him, turning him to face her.
"On this very day Rosalyn wants nothing to do with Luke" she said but he just replied simply.
"I refuse"
Those two words as much as they made her happy the also broke her heart.
"Are you crazy?" She asked.
"Why do you keep me beside you who do you think you are?" She cried but he did not reply her.
"What am i to you a toy? You keep me here for your sanity sake but what about mine? Don't you care if I am dying?" She asked.
"I don't want the curse of being your Luna Luke, and let's say you manage to win in this war and you get back the ALMIGHTY diane, where does that keep me? Where?" She queried but he shunned her.
"Do you hide in the face of the truth also?" She asked.
"Go to sleep" he ushered her, backing away from the room.
"Yeah run away from me, cause it's the only thing you are good at" she said to the figure who was slowly disappearing from her line of sight.
She could feel the tears dropping from her eyes, she was now more determined than ever to save her marriage from it's shambles.
She started the evening a happy woman but turned to her bed a defeated woman.
The next day Luke rarely crossed paths with her.

A week had passed since her terrorfilled experience with Ian, and she was now downstairs in the large living room that no one used, the kitchen was stationed by the side and other their were other places to.
Normally anytime she was down here the whispers of the servants were always about her but shockingly enough today was different.
She had started to wonder the cause of the silent uproar from the servants who quietly chattered.
"What is happening" Diane asked Yvette who was downstairs with her.
Her sharp sense had caught onto different whispers such as.
"The gammas are returning from their fight against the rogue pack"
"I heard that the beta sister lead victoriously" another said.
"The beta's sister? Is that not Lilian Madrid, the Alpha's bethrothed?" Another asked.
"The Alpha was bethrothed?" She asked Yvette.
"They were rumors that were never quenched about the Alpha's family, when I was younger I had heard of an engagement ceremony held for the Alpha in his absence during his period of training by his father, that day he got engaged to the Beta's daughter, when he came back he showed his anger about his father's decision but the then Alpha made no statement about it" Yvette explained as best as she could.
'So he is engaged' she said to herself.
"If you are curious as to how the Beta sister is then you will soon meet her, it is tradition for the gamma's to return to the Alpha residence and give statements on the war, she being the leader will surely make her appearance here" Yvette said.
"They are here" she heard a loud sqeaul.
Her eyes focused on the door and soon the outlines of both males and female exhausted wolves were made out but her eyes focused on a beautiful tiny future who looked exactly like Logan, she looked energetic and beautiful despite her skin tan.
Her ponytail hair bounced as she swayed her body toward Diane but when she got to her, she walked right past, Diane trailed her movement with her eyes and watched her walk up to the figure a few meters away from her.
"Brother" Lilian greeted Logan beside Ian before throwing herself into Ian's hand and surprisinging him with a kiss
