Forgive? 31

Her crazy, twisted face showed up in the video.

Tehila couldn’t believe it. Did that woman she saw on the second floor really not be Seryna?

Right after that, in front of the gate, Seryna took the medicine and came back.

The truth came out, and everyone was stunned.

Seryna’s ugly face and mouth shocked everyone.

Tehila was shocked. That’s not how it was. That’s not how it was at all. But she didn’t dare say it.

Jennett clenched the hand she used to hit Seryna.

She wanted to apologize, but Seryna didn’t give her a chance at all.

Seryna said, feeling wronged, “Dad, you heard what Tehila just said. She can’t stand me in this house. I’m just a coun- try girl, and I can see how much you all spoil her. So Dad can get some rest, I’ll just go to Grandma’s place.”

Seryna walked away quickly.

Tehila was totally stunned and couldn’t figure out why Seryna came in from outside.

“Sera-” Rashad shouted.

But Seryna just walked away without looking back.

In the hall, everyone had their own thoughts.

After Seryna went out, it started to drizzle.

She sneered, See, as long as I don’t wait for someone to love me, I can love myself just fine.

Seryna looked lonely and alone, but there was a light in her eyes.

Seryna walked out of the villa in the rain.

She walked with her head down, wandering aimlessly. She still felt bad. She didn’t want to be sad, but she had under- estimated her own heart–it still hurt a lot.

There was a fancy car following behind her.

In the car, Calbert kept his eyes on Seryna’s thin back. He looked at Keenan, “Keenan, hit it.”

Keenan froze and quickly looked at him in the rearview mirror: “Mr. Hatfield, what did you say?”

Keenan was shocked.

If he didn’t hear it wrong, Mr. Hatfield wanted him to crash into it.

Calbert gave him a cold look. “Go at twenty yards per hour, bump into him gently, just a little, just enough to scrape

his knee.”

Keenan laughed in disbelief. He didn’t dare. Who could control that kind of strength?

He was human, not a god.

Calbert growled in a low voice, “Crash into it.”

Keenan closed his eyes for a second and drove right into it.

Seryna was in a bad mood, looking kind of out of it. She was about to cross the street. She turned her head to look at the cars, and the glaring headlights came at her.

She paused for a second when she saw the car was already right in front of her, and she just didn’t have time to get out of the way.

“Bang-” Seryna fell to the ground.

A sharp pain shot through her knee, and she frowned a little.

At the same time.

Keenan hadn’t even parked the car yet, and Calbert grabbed an umbrella and quickly opened the door to get out.

Seryna didn’t know if it was pain or just feeling bad inside, and her tears just kept falling.

The rain got heavier, she hadn’t had time to stand up yet, and then the rain above her suddenly stopped.

A pair of shiny, expensive leather shoes suddenly showed up in front of her.

She suddenly looked up and met a pair of deep, dark, cold eyes.

Their eyes met, Seryna’s beautiful eyes widened a bit. It was a cloudy, rainy night. She suddenly felt a light tear through the darkness. That gentle light wrapped around her, sweet as silk.

My heart didn’t hurt anymore, and it wasn’t cold anymore.

He was clearly a cold guy, but he made her feel warm.

Look at his face again, so handsome, his features were sharp like they were carved. He was the most beautiful man she had ever seen. That face was just too beautiful. But there was a hint of sadness between his brows.

Calbert slowly crouched down, looking at her eyes filled with tears, like a fragile porcelain doll. The sense of broken- ness made his heart ache a little.

The little girl still cried just as much!

He pulled her up and said gently, “I’ll take you to the hospital.”

His voice was comfortably hoarse, like he was hiding some kind of emotion. Seryna slowly stood up and looked at the slight scrape on her knee. She shook her head and said, “Sir, I’m fine, no need to go to the hospital, I’ll just put some medicine on it at home.”

Calbert said calmly, “No, I hit you, you have to go to the hospital for treatment.”

Without waiting for Seryna to answer, he dropped the umbrella and picked Seryna up in his arms.

It was a familiar scent, really tempting. His Adam’s apple moved on its own. This scent could let him have a good sleep.
