Chapter30
Rashad reminded her, “Go ahead, you’re both good daughters to Dad. You don’t have to be so confrontational in the future. Sera won’t threaten your place.”
Tehila knew this was a warning.
Seryna had to be finished tonight, her place in this house was on the line.
Tehila went upstairs to look for Seryna.
Seryna was standing on the second floor making a phone call.
When Tehila came up, she curled her red lips into a cold smile, here you are.
Tehila didn’t pretend anymore and showed her evil look.
“Seryna, you’re looking for trouble! You bitch, you country bumpkin, how dare you talk back to me. Today I’ll show you how your mom and dad, your brother, and the man who was supposed to marry you all spoiled me.”
Tehila gave an evil smile. She didn’t dare fall backward, so she lay down slowly, then rolled from the second floor to the second floor.
“Ah…Sera, don’t, Sera, I was wrong, I shouldn’t have fought with you over mom and dad, Sera, don’t push me…”
Right after that, there was the sound of Tehila falling down the stairs.
Seryna sneered, “Tehila, you’ll get what you deserve.”
Seryna went into the room and disappeared inside.
The people in the restaurant heard Tehila’s wailing and all got a fright.
“Tila.” Jennett ran out of the restaurant in a panic and saw Tehila painfully rolling down the last flight of stairs.
“Tila, my Tila, what happened to you?”
Jennett cried and hugged Tehila in her arms.
Tehila was hurting all over, and there was a cut on her delicate forehead.
She was incredibly angry inside, this damn trick of self–injury really hurt.
Tehila cried and said, “Mom, don’t blame Sera. Bruno was great. Sera liked Bruno and hated that I took Bruno and you guys away from her. She wasn’t happy, and I could understand how she felt. Don’t blame her. I fell down the stairs by accident.”
Jeremiah was furious: “Damn Seryna, she actually dared to push you down the stairs.”

As soon as she finished speaking, there was the sound of high heels behind her. “Big brother, were you looking for
me?”
Tehila looked at Seryna like she’d seen a ghost, how could she…?
Jennett suddenly stood up, raised her hand, and slapped Seryna hard.
“Pa-”
“Seryna, why were you so mean? Did you really dare to push Tila down the stairs?” Jennett looked at her angrily.
Seryna turned her face to the side, her eyes shining with tears. She looked sharply at Jennett: “Mrs. Willard, what did I do wrong that you want to hit me?”
Jennett was stunned, then realized that Seryna had come back from outside.
“You… you pushed Tila down the stairs, you…”
Seryna’s eyes were full of tears, and her voice was choked. “I went to get the rheumatism patch for Dad. I was at the door getting the patch. How could I have pushed her down the stairs from the front door?”
Jennett looked at her swollen red cheek, she had gotten her nails done, and there was a scratch of blood on her face.
“You… you really weren’t upstairs?”
Seryna laughed and said, “All of you saw me walk in from the front gate. I just came out of the dining hall, and the errand guy showed up, so I went out to get the medicine patch. How could I have pushed her? If you want to frame someone, at least show some evidence.”
Jennett opened her mouth but couldn’t say anything.
Seryna handed the ointment to her dad: “Dad, this is the ointment, you have to put it on tonight.”
She wiped her tears feeling wronged.
Everyone was stunned.
I didn’t get why Tehila purposely made everyone think it was Seryna who pushed her.
Tehila didn’t have time to speak before Seryna said, “Dad, you have the home security cameras on your phone, check the cameras.”
Tehila froze. Was she seeing things because she was mad?
Seryna was clearly on the second floor, so why did she come in through the front door?
“Dad, I… I didn’t say Sera pushed me, I just called Sera’s name because I panicked…”
Tehila gave a rambling explanation.

Seryna insisted that Rashad watch the surveillance footage to clear her name.
Rashad couldn’t do it, so Brunell did it himself and cast the video from Rashad’s phone to the TV at home.
Just like Seryna said, as soon as she came out of the restaurant, she left. About a minute later, Tehila showed up on the second floor. She talked to the air and said, “Seryna, you’re looking for trouble! You bitch, you country girl, how dare you talk back to me. Today I’ll show you how your mom and dad, your brother, and the man who was supposed to marry you all spoil me.”
