Chapter 32

Aurora's POV

"I'm not leaving daddy!" Thomas sobs and once again my heart breaks.

We now stood at the airport and I was awaiting their departure and Thomas started throwing a tantrum.

"Babe, can you help me out?" Wes whines and sighs.

"Thomas baby-"

"I wanna stay with you." He places his hand gently on my arm as tears run down his face.

"But daddy has to work, and he needs to go back."

"Daddy needs to go. Not me." He pouts and I sigh.

He's been like this for the past fifteen minutes now.

"Babe. . . he obviously wants to stay with you. Do you think-"

"Yes!" I squeal.

"Oh... alright then." Wes looks startled as he bends to talk to Thomas.

"Hey you, you be good for Beeze alright. I'm trusting you to take care of her. Don't let her talk to any guys, and if she does, let me know. I love you, buddy."

"With all my h2eart." They both mumble and for the first time, Thomas smiles as his father gives him a hug.

"Thanks, babe. ." He says standing and I grin.

"I have a baby now," I say dazed and he pouts.

"I thought I was your baby?" He tilts his head and I giggle.

"You might miss your flight. ."

"I have a private jet."

"You're pilot's gonna get upset if you keep him waiting."

"He'll understand when I tell him I was just waiting for my lady to give me some sugar." He teases, gripping my waist to peck my lips. Thomas was in between us and he blocked his eyes.

"Ew. Please stop." He says cutely and Wes groans.

"My own son is cock blocking me." He sighs and I slap his chest.

"Mommy. ."Thomas tested out the word for the first time and a smile graces his lips. "What's cock blocking?"

Wes chokes and I cough averting my eyes. I internally cringe at how innocently he said it.

"Daddy will let you know." I avoid the conversation.

"Oh no, look at the time. Daddy has a plane to catch." Wes betrays me and I glare at him.

"I'm gonna miss you two." He murmurs resting my forehead against his. "Bye beautiful. ."

"Goodbye handsome."

Thomas decided to lay watching television, while I cooked. I'm not that type of parent who limits their child to the amount of television they watch unless it's really excessive.

He's not out there doing drugs right?

He's four years old.

Right.

Ronin enters and freezes upon seeing Thomas.

"Didn't Wes leave today?" He asks and I bite my lip.

"Welcome a new member to the family." I do jazz hands and Ronin raises an eyebrow.

"You have a kid now?" He asks and I grin.

"He even calls me mommy."

"Just to be clear... you are an I- did- not- have- sex- yet person right?"

"What? You mean a virgin? And just to clarify, whose the older one here?"

He rolls his eyes amused and walks into the living room sitting next to Thomas.

They have a conversation and a few hearty laughs later, Ronin returns.

"I like him. He's funny."

I wink grabbing the plate and setting them on the table.

"Boys, let's eat."

They rush to the table, saying grace and diving into their food. Even Ronin seemed to be enchanted by the little bundle of joy.

"Um, Beeze?" Thomas tilts his head and I hum. "Can I go to school tomorrow?"

"You wanna go to school?" I ask perplexed and he nods.

"Well first I'd have to get you registered and you're not even a citizen of-"

"Aurora. He doesn't even understand what you're saying. And plus, with a name like his dad's I would think he would get in anywhere."

"Ronin, he's not even a citizen of England," I argue.

"Hey, I got money, your man has money, you have money. Money talks woman." I sigh running my hands through my hair as Thomas peers up at me, nibbling on his rice.

"Fine. We'll go look at some tomorrow okay?"

"School! Maybe I could fall in love... like you and daddy." He grins toothily and I giggle.

"It's a little too early for that's sweetie. Don't rush it."

"Hey! Let the little man embrace the joys of-"

"Shut up! He's four years old!" I yell.

Why are they so content with corrupting him?
