"Rahhhhh!" Astrid shouted enraged by Kali's appearance, however, even as a berserker she still had bits of her senses intact. "You'll pay for what you did to my brother!" Astrid stomped on the ground and a massive vibration wave happened that nearly knocked Kali off.
"Wow, I didn't mean to kill him, but still, I'm not going to lose to you here!" Kali shouted and her magical aura flared up.
Water particles began to flavor around her, "This is probably a form that's the direct opposite of ocean drain attack, I'm creating water from the particles in the air instead of absorbing them! Rainmaker!" She shouted and multiple water bullets assaulted Astrid from all sides.
However the she-wolf was a skilled fighter; she dodged every single bullet and also drew closer to Kali.
"Hyahhhh!" She kicked Kali in the chest and nearly fell her off the platform, but she. Managed to regain her balance.
The rules of the battle tournament were simple, either knockout your opponent or get them off the stage for a ring out victory, both of which would give you a point. Astrid kept trying to close the gap between her and Kali, but out determined she-wolf wasn't going to let that happen. She kept attacking with different water attacks, from her water balls to her water bullets, unlike me who could shape my flames to different objects and even a clone of myself, Kali lacked the imagination for such attacks and instead built upon her strength instead.
"Rainmaker, pinwheel!" She shouted and rotated her body at incredible speeds making her look like a spinning wheel that then attacked Astrid.
The berserker was hit back significantly by this attack, the stretch marks could even be seen on her arms and. Chest as the attack landed, but she didn't get knocked out of the ring, instead, this further increased her power.
"Yes, a berserker werewolf gets stronger the more they fight and get hit, they are more powerful than a normal werewolf but also have tactics," Hunter explains.
"Well that makes sense, that lunar goddess couldn't make her people that overpowered after all," Holly folded her hands.
That was right, Iris, Trinity and I all felt worried for Kali now, her opponent wasn't one to be taken likely, especially since she was after her life. Kali covered her entire body in water again, honestly I preferred this form to the one diffusion one that nearly killed her all that time ago. She decided to use this water armor to fight Astrid head on instead of just running away and fighting at a distance because at this point it was clear that that wasn't doing as much damage as she wanted. The two she wolves then started to hit each other, Astrid's blow started to lack in vibration energy and instead just became more powerful blows, however this helped Kali since her water armor actually helped defend her from those attacks and lessen their impacts, Kali kept punching and kicking Astrid with her fists and feet covered with water which added the damage however.
"Rahhhhhhhhhh!" Astrid shouted and swept Kali away with her tail, nearly taking off her head in the process, Kali's water armor was completely destroyed as she was sent to the edge of the platform ring by the sheer force of the attack.
Kali immediately got up and took out her metal pipe that the hunter had given her and sent out a long stream of water at Astrid.
The entire area around the berserk was covered by water thanks to the attack however.
"Rahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Astrid screamed revealing that she had fully shifted into her black and yellow werewolf, she wasn't speaking anymore indicating that she had completely lost control now and was a true berserker.
Vance tried to go and stop the match, it was clearly too dangerous now, but Adonis stopped him.
"I've fought Kali before, she's strong enough not to get killed by Astrid, so let's see how this plays out," Adonis said and Vance had to back down.
Kali dropped her pipe and started to laugh.
"Hahaha haha haha! This is really a cool fight, but still... I don't care if you're fighting for revenge or just because you hate me, I'm fighting for my friends and myself, and I'm not going to lose to a she-wolf that's stuck in the past!"
Kali shifted into her brown werewolf form and then covered her entire body in water again, forming a huge water wolf avatar.
"Lycan surf!" She shouted and charged at Astrid who did the same with energy emitting from her entire body as well.
Both collided and a huge shockwave shook the entire area sending both she-wolves out of the ring and straight into the ground unconscious.
We all went to check on Kali and she was fine, no broken bones but she was out cold, same for when Vanc and Adonis checked Astrid she reverted back into human form just like Kali did.
"Kali never fails to amaze me," Queen Rene said with a smile as she saw that Kali was fine.
"Wow, spectacular, both competitors were sent flying by their attacks clashing, this is a draw, meaning they won't be a seed in the blue corner, instead they'll fight through tournament normal, now into the next round!" Dakota shouted.
The battle tournament was taking place in the blue corner, the next match was Velvet vs Rose of the Aztec pack, and even though rose showed even stronger abilities than she did when we fought back then, velvet took her down within a single minute with just one punch, granted it was a magic infused punch but still, Velvet looked almost unstoppable.
The final match in the blue corner was between Gustav of the Lunar forces and a male werewolf from the mandrake pack that I didn't recognize. Powered up by his love for protecting Dakota and his gear of Eric, Gustav managed to pull off a chaotic headbutt that forced his opponent out of the ring and gave him the victory. Now both the blood moon and ruby claw pack had four points while the lunar forces got their first point.
