Chapter 28

Third person narrative.

Melissa wasn’t the type to actually be aggressive. She was actually the most soft hearted sister of the three.

She had been hurt before and intended to keep her space from everybody she couldn't afford to get hurt again. “she’s bleeding!!!” Maya shouted with a fear stricken voice.

“You need to calm down Maya she’s going to be alright she just needs a little bit of air” Melissa said trying to carrying the girl up “what do you mean a little bit of air she is literally turning pale!!! and that said something because she’s already pale!!” Maya was going out of her mind.

Melissa knew she had to be the calm one in this situation, there was no calming Maya down until Eloise opened her eyes.

“It’s the heat! it’s surging throughout her body it’s not giving her opportunity to breathe”

“Water !” Maya shouted “she needs water! let’s take her to the spring we're going to be seen you dummy we can't do that” beads of sweat had covered Melissa’s forehead. “then what other option do we have??!!!!!”

*Knock knock knock*

“Eloise you better open the fucking door” Eric growled from the other side of the door”

“It’s the Prince what should we do!!” Maya said looking like she was ready to shit her pants.

“her body has been regulated. Spell the door for a while. He’s going to misunderstand the whole situation if he were to see her like this in this condition now and then might be on the wrong foot with us” Melissa said.

It was no surprise That the Prince was the most scary person in all of the supernatural world. The rumours that surrounded him were not to be taken lightly.

Slowly Eloise took in a deep breath causing the two sisters to sigh from relief.

Eloise woke up with a gasp. “They are coming” was the first thing she said as she opened her eyes and studied where she was.

“Eloise I said open the door” She held her ears tightly .

“Too much noise.” She whispered.

“One” Eric growled from the other side of the door.

“Wow, he’s pretty cave man much” Melissa rolled her eyes.

“I swear Eloise!” Eloise didn’t panic she was as calm as they came and was ready for anything

“Two, Eloise I swear” Eloise pissed off about the whole situation stood up and stormed her way towards the door and swung the door open.

“what the fuck do you want from me!. Leave. Me. Alone!!” I yelled.. the ground beneath me shook, and he felt it too. He had this strange look in his eyes when he looked at me.

“Leave, and do not talk to me till you know how to talk to me right. I was beyond filled with rage. The fire within me felt like I could explore at any time.

“I don’t like how you walked out on me earlier.” He said in a much calmer voice. Even if I was listening, I could not find it in me to calm down.

“Neither did I like your attitude with me earlier” I fired back, waiting for him to get all riled up.

“Im sorry” he sighed.

“No!” I said slapping his chest. I didn’t mean to get some of my energy out, but I did, scarring him in the process.

“Fuck!” he yelled from the burn. He was moving from himself to his wolf. His wolf was trying to protect him, sensing a form of danger

“Why did you do that?! I was trying to apologize!” he growled in pain.

“I am sorry” it felt as though the anger that was there a second ago vanished, gone like it was never there to begin with. “I swear.. I don’t know what came over me. I just had… I am… “

“Alpha, there are witches around the area” a guard came, interrupting us, which I was grateful for.

His face morphed from pain to one of war in an instant.

“ gather the guards, let them surround the area. Do not let a single one of them leave alive.” He ad then turned to me. “You’ll be safe here, please don’t leave here, no matter what.” I nodded my head. If he thought I was going to stay here and listen to him like some obedient little wife, then he had another thing coming for him.

He left me, giving me a rushed peck on my head.

Minutes later, Ian barged into the room, along with Anna. “Stay here. he seemed like someone that should not be argued with. He was annoyed. But not at her it seemed.

“You can’t tell me what to do” she argued back. Trying to follow him. “Not right now!” he yelled, shocking her into place. He slammed the door behind her. Only then did she let out a scream.

“ well you don’t seem to happy” I said startling her.

“Oh my goodness!!” he yelled, grasping her chest. “How long have you stood there!”

I just shrugged. There was no need answering the questions and wasting anymore time.

“You want to get out there?” I said raising my brows.

“You know I do! I feel so useless sitting around here, waiting for my “prince” to save me.”

“keep close to me” I said walking out the door. I felt invincible. No one was talking to me. I felt unseen.

Until..

“luna the alpha requests you both to be back in the room.” Without thinking, I struck him with my hands burning him in the process. “run” I told Anna. As I myself started walking way too fast.

We were met with on the way with a witch. This one did not seem familiar.

“Hi” she said in a disgusting sneer. She came closer and closer to us.

“Anna, what ever you do, don’t look at her in the eye.” I saw her nodded from my peripheral view. When she was close enough, I struck her effectively burning her off.

“Let’s go” I yelled. Running to my next victim. My inner mind was pulling me toward the infirmary where I had stayed when I had just woke up. I didn’t even try to fight the feeling, I just rolled with it.

“ Luna!” I smacked another one. Only this time, I didn’t touch the person neither did my palms feel hot from the fire coming out of it. It just sort of happened.

“Nice!” Anna yelled from behind me. I ran as my legs could carry me, reaching the infirmary just in time to see someone try to carry the banded body of my dad. “Put. Him. Down” I said in a voice I could barely recognize as mine. The person looks scared. She looked around.

She chantted some words, but I did the same thing I did to the guard. She gasped hitting her back in the wall opposite her and dropping the body from the impact.

“Who sent you” I said coming near her. She was gasping for air.

“Please, I can’t breathe.” She said. I looked at her confused. I wasn’t doing anything.

“Who sent you!!”

“You let her go or your friend goes bye bye” a voice said from behind me…..
