It was around 8pm, and I had not seen much of Dominic for the entire day.

He had to suddenly leave earlier with Vincent, Quintin, and the others, as there were reports of multiple cocaine-related deaths around various parts of the city. Dominic went to meet with Commissioner Edgehill before organising his own investigation.

During the day, I did not miss him as much since I had spent the morning

training then went shopping with Blaire in the evening. I was so happy that my best friend was engaged, and I was looking forward to the party this weekend to celebrate with her.

With a sigh, I laid down on the large king-sized bed in Dominic's bedroom. Much to my surprise, he had asked me to move into the room with him over a week ago, and I could not have been happier. Now that my busy day was winding down, I had nothing to really preoccupy my thoughts, and I began to miss Dominic terribly.
