Chapter 38: Chapter:38

**Taylor's POV**

"Mrs. Alfonso?" I call as I walk into the kitchen. She is seated there with Elina and her Miranda. "What are you still doing here? Haven't you caused enough problems." Miranda sneers and I look from her to Mrs. Alfonso.

She looks annoyed as she's staring at Miranda. "It's my house and I think I can speak for myself." Mrs. Alfonso says , immediately shutting her up and I have to try very hard to hold in a laugh. "That stupid fight was not your fault honey. It's been brewing for a while." She says calling me over and pulling me into a hug. "I'm sorry anyway, Mrs. Alfonso." I say and she chuckles.

"It's Danielle. All the formality is driving me crazy." She says pulling back from the hug. She tells Wanda to make me a cup of coffee and tells me to sit down. We're talking when all of a sudden we hear glass shattering and a loud thud. We're all on our feet in seconds and we bolt up the stairs, running to Felix's office.

Upon pushing the door open, we see Dimitri sat on the floor, motionless and Felix laying on the ground near the big window. "Dimitri." I call softly and he slowly looks up.

Elina and Danielle go to Felix and Danielle calls his name a few times. He doesn't respond and she looks at Dimitri with tears in her eyes. "What did you do?" She asks softly and Dimitri looks at her before looking at Miranda. "You." He says pointing a finger at her. She back up and Dimitri slowly gets up. "This is all your fault." He says and she looks shocked.

"What? How is any of this my fault." She asks and I am wondering the same thing. "You were fucking him. You were pregnant with his child!" Dimitri yells and a gasp leaves me.

"What?" Danielle asks looking up from her unconscious husband. Miranda looks like a dear caught in head lights and I am just now realising what's going on.

"You were sleeping with my dad?" Elina asks as a tear runs down her cheek. Miranda stands there gapping like a fish out of water.

"I'm sorry." Is all she says causing Elina to jump up and pounce on her like a wild animal. I can hear every punch landing on Miranda's face and I look around to see Dimitri and Danielle just watching.

I walk towards the two woman and try pulling Elina off of Miranda but the heels I'm wearing makes it really difficult to do that.

"Elina, stop please." I says wrapping my arms around her chest and pulling her off.

"No! Let me at her! Fucking bitch!" She screams and somehow gets her shoe off to throw at Miranda. Miranda slowly sits up and her face is already starting to swell a little.

"You need to calm down Elina." I tell her and her body slowly relaxes.

I hear a groan and turn my head to Danielle and Felix. His body is moving and I release a breath that I didn't know I was holding in.

*He's not dead.*

"Danielle?" He calls out and I see Danielle get up and drop his head onto the floor causing him to groan.

"I want a divorce." Is all she says before walking out of the office. My head is all over the place. So much has happened in such a short amount of time and it feels like I'm suffocating in all this family drama. My heart hurts for Danielle, Dimitri and Elina.

They have all been badly affected by the actions of two very selfish people.

Danielle got hurt the most. She seemed ike the one who tried to keep this family together and now it fell apart completely. She lost her husband and a realtionship of many years. Time and effort wasted. Love wasted. I can't even begin to imagine how she must feel right now.

"The ambulance is on it's way." The young maid says from the doorway and I nod as I realise nobody was going to respond to her. She immediately leaves and I am still holding a crying Elina.

"You need to get the fuck out of this house." Dimitri says looking at Miranda. The hurt in his voice is very evident.

Miranda scrambles to get up and runs out of the office. Dimitri walks over to me and takes Elina from me before helping me up and walkin out of the room.

I turn and look at Felix still laying on the floor. Some blood has formed a small puddle around his head. He makes eye contact with me and I can still see the disgust in his eyes. "You are a horrible person. I hope you regret ruining your wife and children's lives for as long as you live." I say before turnin around and walking out.

I head to mine and Dimitri's room and sit down on the bed.

Everything that happened today is a little more then I bargained for. I was prepared for some drama but this is too much. My mind is complete chaos and I can't seem to get it together.

Dimitri is in no state to act tough and he needs to let everything out. I have to be the strong one 'cause he needs someone to be strong for him.

Elina is a complete mess and I don't think she's going to let up anytime soon.

Danielle, oh Danielle. That woman has been broke into a million irreparable pieces. She is too vulnerable to be alone right now, who knows what she could do to herself.

Dimitri walks in and sits on the bed next to me. It's quiet for a few seconds before Ia soft sob leaves him. I move closer to him and put my arms around him, trying to console him to the best of my ability. We don't speak or do anything. I just hold him, letting him cry as much as he needs to all while trying stop my own tears.

He stops after a few minutes and wipes his face. "I'm sorry. This must be alot for you." He says and I can tell that he's feeling embarrassed.

"Hey, don't apologize. I can't being to fathom what all of you are feeling right now. I'm so sorry." I say and he grabs my hand. "Thank you, Taylor." He says softly and I smie at him.

"We can't leave your mother by herself." I say and he nods. "Yeah. I called the family doctor already. The only way they'll rest is if they are sedated." He says and I nod.

The ambulance gets here and they take Felix to the hospital. Nobody bothered to go with him because he has nobody left.

The doctor gets here shortly after the ambulance leaves and he take a look at the mother and daughter before giving each pf them a tranquilizer. When he leaves, we head back tot the room and get ready for bed.

I feel all the tension leave my body the moment my back hits the bed.

"I hope this is all a little better in the morning." Dimitri says sleepily and I nod.
