Chapter 184 - Indecent Proposal - mddos
Luisa
The girls were asleep thanks to Guadalupe. That young woman had a gift with children, riding her motorcycle from one ranch to another every afternoon after high school.
"See you tomorrow, Mrs. Luisa."
"Lupe, come here." The girl came to my side, and I handed her a check. She started to shake her head.
"I don't do it for the money, Mrs. Moreno. I love children, and you already gave me a motorcycle to get to school faster and split my time between the two ranches."
"And I just pay for a service."
"What Mr. Miguel pays me is enough."
"Well, they pay you to take care of Isaac. Imagine me, I have two, and believe me, at the rate they’re going, they'll be an earthquake and aftershock."
The young woman smiled. I realized she was no longer the skinny girl who arrived over a year ago. Now her body was slender; in college, she’d be one of the most sought-after girls.
"It's our payment, save it for college. By the way, what are you going to study?"
"My dad wants me to pursue something productive to help the bosses, but deep down, I’d like something related to children."
"Study what you love. If you're a smart girl, you could do two degrees. Just focus on what you desire." She stayed thoughtful. She took the check and waved it around.
"I'll use it for my second degree and a future project." She looked at the amount, her eyes nearly popped out. "This is a lot of money."
"They're two girls."
Simon answered, entering with Arnold, accompanied by a woman whose face was flushed.
"Arnold, what a surprise to have you visiting."
I said it sarcastically. That big-headed guy was a relentless womanizer. Lupe's look of disgust was evident, and I didn’t miss Arnold raising an eyebrow as he looked at her. The woman beside him seemed somewhat embarrassed.
"Hi, Luisa. I came to enroll in the university for my specialization and I'm thinking about doing another degree. I'll check the schedules and if they accept a couple of conditions, I'll go back to studying. I arrived today, can I stay at your place? Tomorrow I'll bother Miguel and then spend the rest of the days at Roland's. If I don't, Ines will turn me into a eunuch."
"You're welcome. Do you remember Guadalupe?"
"Yes, she's the Tadpole, although she looks different now." Lupe opened her mouth and then closed it, clenching her fists.
"Black-haired." My husband kissed me as if we had no company, leaving me blushing. "The lady was the assistant to the wedding planner Roland hired."
"Fine." I looked at him, and he winked at me.
"Miss, I forgot your name." My husband's attitude was strange; Arnold just smiled.
"Dalila Brown."
"Miss Brown, she is my wife. Do not make any comments like the one you made earlier again, understood?"
I had no idea what had happened, but Simon could be quite particular about certain situations. This seemed to be one of those. Seeing her, I felt sorry for the woman.
"The warning goes for both of us. I don't have a wife, but it's unpleasant to hear an attractive lady offering herself that way. Believe me, not even with my fondness for older women would I be interested in someone like you. You have attributes, but don't let your foul mouth ruin your prospects."
Did that twenty-four-year-old brat say that? Arnold was quite the jerk. I didn’t know what had happened or what that woman had said to them, but for two experienced men to treat her that way, I was intrigued. The woman looked like she wanted to disappear.
"I would choose Renacuaja a thousand times over you, and I don't even like skinny girls." I opened my mouth. This brat was a capital-letter idiot.
"Can I know what's going on?"
"Excuse me, I must go," Miss Dalila intervened.
"And on top of that, she's unprofessional," I looked at Simon. Lupe wanted to kill Arnold.
"I'm sorry." The woman left, almost crying.
"Can I know what happened with that lady? And you," I slapped Arnold. "Why do you treat Lupe that way? What does that rudeness with that woman mean?"
"Now I'm the bad guy! My mother died when I was six, and life gives me hell. Even Diana, who's younger than me, scolds me."
"Who wouldn't with that big mouth of yours," Lupe intervened, crossing her arms.
"This is adult conversation, kid. Tadpoles jump into the pond at this hour."
"See you tomorrow, Mr. and Mrs. Moreno," the young girl said angrily.
"Simon, Lupe, just call me by my name."
"If I don't address ladies informally, I won't do it with you either. Excuse me, it's just respect."
"Fine, see you tomorrow," I said.
She left, and the one who didn't take his eyes off her until she disappeared was Arnold. I slapped him on the arm again. He was taller than Simon and more built; seeing this young man was like seeing a professional Russian wrestler.
"Explain yourselves."
"Sweetheart, that woman came to the stables where we were talking. I suppose she thought we were workers, and the shameless woman offered to pay us for a night to have a threesome where she'd like to see two cowboys interact sexually." He pointed to himself and Arnold. "In my damn life, I've never done such a thing, and for those who like it, I respect that." I opened my eyes, then squinted at him.
"You've never had a threesome?"
"Brunette, two women and me in the middle, yes, but not what that old lady proposed."
"We like women a lot," Arnold intervened.
"I found the proposition very bold." My expression said it all. "Luckily, she's just an assistant. Call the organizer directly, let her handle it." I couldn't contain my laughter. The more I looked at them, the more I laughed. "What makes you laugh, Luisa?"
"I imagine your faces when she suggested the three of you sharing and you two being affectionate."
"Do you know a lot about that?"
"I've read many erotic novels." My husband shook his head, and Arnold did too.
"Luisa, we've done many things, but caressing a man isn't for me. I love the soft skin and the scent of a woman, not hairy legs. I respect, I tolerate, but to this day, I don't fancy men."
Simon and I laughed loudly at Arnold's comment, and it echoed through the ranch.
"Ana!" I called the cleaning assistant. The woman came to the living room. "Please take our guest's suitcase to his room." Everyone's phones vibrated. Each of us took ours, and I smiled at Roland's message.
"You'll be uncles to two intruders and a princess."
The three of us looked at our screens. We all received the same message from my brother. Although I was happy, Vero's situation still worried me. Despite Simon saying God was on our side, their faith was admirable and somewhat contagious. We headed to the office, and I sent a message to the organizer to schedule a new appointment. Now we had to organize two weddings and the christenings.
