Hades p.o.v
I was crazy, I stepped into the room to check if she had slept well. I knew that was a big mistake.
Especially since I could barely keep it together when I laid her on the bed.
“we should not be doing this” she said taking in deep breaths that caused her breasts to swell.
“we shouldn’t” I said, taking in deep breaths trying to clear my head.
She looked at me through her lashes. Biting her lips
‘this is wrong’ I muttered, looking at her stormy eyes.
And yet, here I was, unable to stop myself from finding my way back to her lips again.
My hands moved on their own accord, tangling into her hair, pulling her closer, and deepening the kiss
She responded with equal fervor, her hands slipping up my chest, curling around the back of my neck, urging me to continue. There was something desperate in the way she kissed me back, a hunger I recognized because it mirrored my own. I knew it was wrong, but I couldn’t bring myself to care. Not with the way her body pressed against mine, “you smell like flowers. Vanilla and musk, I can’t get enough of it” I growled unable to control myself.
I pulled back slightly, just enough to look into her eyes. They were wide and bright, full of lust.
Pure unadulterated lust.
“Valerie,” I murmured, my voice strained. I needed to keep whatever was going on in my pants there. “We shouldn’t be doing this. It’s—”
“Wrong?” she finished for me, her voice steady despite the tremor I could feel in her body. She leaned in closer, her lips brushing against my neck she spoke. “Then why does it feel so right?”
I said nothing, biting back a moan. I felt...
Her hands moved lower, slipping beneath the hem of my shirt, her fingers tracing patterns against my skin that sent shivers racing down my spine. I groaned, my resolve weakening with every second that passed. “Valerie…”
I shoved her further into the wall, trying to steady the both of us.
Our breaths heavy. “I am sorry.” I muttered, sighing as I moved away from her. “I did not mean to ... it was an accident.” Her face went paler. “I did not mean to loose my cool, I don’t know what just came over me and....”
“Hades!” she snapped, giving me a forced smile. “I get it, it was definitely a mistake on my part to, I did not mean to get carried away. Now if you’d excuse me” she said in rush that she barely even met my gaze.
I walked out of the bathroom, few moments after I had fathered my thoughts.
I needed air, especially after what had just down.
“Fuck!!!” I yelled, punching the nearest wall as I made my way out of the house.
I found my way to the gardens, taking in a large chunk of air that did nothing. Before I met Valerie. I couldn’t get enough of that earthy scent mixed with Vanilla, there was just something about that scent that made me crave it.
it Made me unable to think straight like a drug and now, after getting that scent on her. The flowers planted, for that very purpose of satisfying that craving, right in my garden could not do the job anymore.
I felt my body vibrate. I wanted no needed to sniff her again.
I wandered deeper into the garden, past rows of meticulously trimmed hedges and clusters of vibrant roses. I kept walking until I reached the center, where a marble bench sat beneath a tree. I threw myself at the chair, a groan escaping my lips but my mind was fixated on my hands.
It throbbed, but I really couldn’t care
“I am an idiot” I muttered. Burying my face in my hands.
“Lost in thought?”
I looked up, startled. Lily, Valerie’s mother, stood a few feet away, her hands clasped together, a soft smile on her face.
I felt my heart slam against chest.
“Lily,” I said, my voice sounding strained even to my own ears. “I...didn’t hear you coming.”
She chuckled softly and moved closer, her steps light and graceful, as if she belonged to the garden as much as the flowers did. “I’ve been told I have a quiet step,” she said, taking a seat on the bench beside me. “how are you love?” she said. Leaning over to kiss me.
I felt my guts twist at the act.
She touch my lips with her tongue, seeking entrance.
“are you good?” she asked having this look of worry on her face. I felt like a shit hole, the consequences of what I had just done weighing down on me.
With these same lips I kissed her daughter and I...
I didn’t even feel sorry about it.
“I just... I just don’t feel good. I’ve had a long day” I muttered shoving her lightly. She smelled thickly of perfumes, unlike the natural scent that Valerie carried. ‘Great, now I am even comparing the two of them’ I thought with disdain
“a long day? Babe it’s barely 12pm.” She said giving me a worried look with slight disbelief.
“Yeah.” I said, not even having the strength to say anything else.
“Fine. I was thinking.” She said looking at me with a lustful gaze, one you could barely miss. “How about we go for a mini vacation? You know me” she said touching her body in a seductive way, “you” she added tracing her fingers around my nipples.
I should be turned on, this was the person I was going be marrying in a few months, but instead. I felt my skin crawl everywhere she touched. Something about her touch just felt... wrong.
“I don’t know, i am going to be swamped with work the month before our marriage and I would like to use this month to prepare my mind for...”
“come on love. You’re being a kill joy. Please?” she said, still tracing her fingers around my nipple and taking it along my neckline.
I opened my mouth to say something but was shit up immediately with the next words she spoke next.
“Valerie?” she sounded confused. “what are you doing here?”
