Chapter 45: FORTY FIVE

It is been days since Wayang has been here in the mansion, all of my works she was the one who did all of it! She is always telling me to take a rest and just do nothing from now on. I couldn't believe it! Even Karsen told me so and he will still pay me despite that. Who on Earth would pay a servant doing nothing, right!? Of course the one and only Karsen!

"I am telling you, girl, your health comes first or you will be dead."

"That is what I wish before!" I paused for a moment and spoke again. "But not anymore, Karsen needed me."

"Don'y give me thay cringe stuff! It's so cheesy!" I laughed when I saw Wayang make a disgusted face. I was about to speak when Karsen showed up here in the kitchen.

"Oh, there you are. Won't you guys go to our school? We are accepting guests. Don't worry, Kalsey won't bully you again you have us." He was walking closer to me and held my shoulder then we looked at Wayang.

"You are lucky I treat you both as my friend because if not, I would probably kick you out here." I heard Karsen laugh causing me to look at him.

"Kick me out of my house?" Wayang rolled her eyes and smirked saying yes but Karsen just laughed again. That made me smile.

"Alright, what is the event on your campus anyway? Will Noah and the others will be there also?" He nodded before speaking.

"Of course, Noah and the others are now on their way to go to Grandma and Alice, we also invite them." I immediately stood up after hearing Alice's name.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go now!" I saw Wayang lazily go up and follow us behind.

We are finally here in their school and I saw a lot of food stalls in the area! Karsen told me that it was now the owner's birthday. Yes, the owner of their private school! He wanted to do something special so he opened the school with still a lot of bodyguards. All professors and teachers were the ones who managed this event so Karsen could still spend his time with me.

Wayang was with Alice and she told me that Alice and I share the same energy. I don't what she meant but when I asked her, she didn't respond. Grandma wasn't here as she told Noah that instead of walking, she would rather just stay at home and relax. Well, that should be an old woman doing right now but I am not an old woman! Maybe I am but no I am not!

"Sister Charlotte! I will be with Sister Wayang, please. It would be much better if you went with Brother Karsen! So the two of you could spend some time!" I saw Alice make a face indicating that she was teasing me! It must be Wayang's doing! I just glared at Wayang but she and Alice just dashed away from us causing me to let out a sigh.

"So you two are now dating?" Chico asks us while pointing to us. Karsen and I look at each other.

"I am courting her." That made me blush! I am not ready to tell the boys about this but he was able to brag it to them! I look at where Noah is to see what would be his reaction but I see no reaction at all.

Maybe there is but it is kind of...empty. He was staring at Karsen and then looked at the ground before turning his eyes at me. I saw him smile trying to hide the pain. What is the meaning of this? Did I do something to him? As far as I know, there wasn't.

"Wow, why didn't you tell us? I mean, why? When? Why you didn't tell us!" Chico tried to smack Karsen but he was able to avoid it and instead gave Chico a smack in the head.

"Geez, I hate you Karsen for taking Charlotte from me! But anyway, you can have her. I support you two." What the actual fvck does he mean by that? Railey just smacks him in the head again causing him to touch his head.

"Ouch, you guys really love torturing me, don't you!?" He complained and walked away but before that, he took Noah with him causing the guy to widen his eyes and surprise. He just waves his hands at us causing me to wave as well.

"Well, I will leave you two now. I will join those two, take care love birds." Another time, I blushed again! Why did they leave me here alone with Karsen? I mean, it is not that bad though but, I feel so shy!

"So, where do you want to go? There are different kinds of booths here. Do you want to watch some movies?"

"Yes! What kind of movies we can watch from them?" Karsen smiled as well and both of us were now walking.

"Well, I don't know but we can check it out." After he said that, he intertwined his hands on my hands and I could feel how he squeezed my hands! I could feel something strange after he touched my hands. Oh my, I don't know what to do! My cheeks are now blushing even more!

We have finally arrived in a room where students are the ones who organize and manage the movie booth they have. Some of them look at our hands causing me to feel shy. I tried my hands to get away from his grip but Karsen kept on holding it and he even held my hands tightly. I just let him be.

After he talked with one student, he lowered his head to whisper in my ear. "Don't pay attention to them, okay? Let us spend this moment without worries. Don't worry, I won't leave you." That somehow made me relieved.

I held his hand tightly and smiled. I hope this day will not end faster. I want to be with him longer like this.
