Amaya Janice’s life is a predictable cycle: counting pills and quiet nights. That predictability shatters when a horrific tragedy awakens a terrifying, dormant power within her: the ability to see the supernatural world bleeding into her own, and a horrifying, god-like authority over human souls she can neither understand nor control. Hunted by dark entities drawn to her new power, Amaya is thrust into Requiem. She has two powerful and opposing mentors: Malik Dolian, a serene, law-abiding angel who promises her control and salvation, and Ryker Reyes, a dangerously pragmatic demon who insists that survival means embracing the chaos. At Salvation, a hidden academy for the supernatural, she is an outcast. While navigating the school's rigid hierarchies, tormented by elitist bullies, and finding an unlikely friendship with a wolfless shewolf, Amaya finds herself torn between her two mentors, caught in a tempestuous love triangle that challenges the very definitions of light and dark. Amaya is plagued by her most terrifying vision yet: the death of the creator god, Zohar. When cosmic disasters begin to ravage the Earth as a god dies, the horrifying truth is revealed. In their shared grief and guilt, the walls between Amaya, Malik, and Ryker crumble, leading to a night of intimacy that irrevocably forges them into something more than just a woman and her two guardians. With Zohar’s throne empty, his ancient, jealous brother emerges to claim all of creation. As Salvation becomes the last bastion in a war for existence, Amaya learns of an ancient prophecy of the Dark Mother. To save everyone she loves, Amaya must not only master her power but become the living embodiment of that prophecy, uniting her Saint and her Sinner to face a god and decide the fate of a new, godless age.
