Where you meet death

Where you meet death
DAVID'S POV

Andre…

Was the only name that distracted me from work flows even when the schedule was tight.

Jessica since that night had withdrawn herself from me and I blamed myself as I had drawn her into this conflicted world. Although she tried to act all cool, whenever my finger just brushed her arm, I would blame myself for making her shudder.

And it was all Andre's fault. He caused this and now she restricted coming towards me. That alone made me break.

Now, in my all black jacket and suit trousers, I clutched my bag like someone's life depended on it, but it was the opposite, it depended on use for someone's life.

I got to the abandoned house crouched down, my knees almost touching the floor as I squatted to take out the tools in the bag.

I had them all, for clawing, pinning, chopping even the smallest part of his body. I grinned as I imagined how his cries would echo in the abandoned space and there was no one to help even when he cried.

I chuckled darkly once the image of chopping of his fingers came to sight, the cries, his whole body trembling and sweat not just breaking on his forehead but every part of him as shook in fear.

The blood splatters and stains on the knife was just a little part of torturing compared to other plans I had for him. I stood up, still taking the bag in hand as I smirked and walked towards the inner of the housing where I had him.

I had instructed my boys to just keep him locked there after a little discipline from them and I wasn't disappointed. He had the bruises decorating him from head to toe. Anyone could have laughed just because this weak pervert had an entirely new and different face.

I slammed the door shut, away from even air to come in as I shut all ventilation. The air became suffocating as it carried the weight of revenge.

I took out the keg I had, it had been filled just with water, I opened the lid and poured them all on him without warning.

I had him gagging for breath as I poured water nonstop and without even a space for him to exhale a bit of air.

He coughed. I laughed at the victory he had choked on. What else could give much joy if not seeing an enemy already being a dead meat?

I stepped in closer to stand in between his legs from where he sat already bound to the chair and bent low to meet his eyes as if I was a predator sizing its prey but truth was I was not just doing that.

I was going to feast on this prey and that, I was already doing. After little researches, I dug out a whole lot about this bastard. He never had issues with mafia lords or even ordinary men but once chaos locked in he found ways to meet women. They were weaker species and easy to overpower but with Jessica, I wonder how he got her.

She knew few of the skills to use but he must really be a psycho. The image of Jessica jumping down the window to the ground which was much of a distance and just now the idiot angered me. He kept smacking and licking his lips non stop until I jerked him a punch with my elbow to his mouth.

I saw the liquid burst out — red, it was blood but that was what I wanted. He could even bleed to death for all I care. His scream was so satisfying that once I bathed him the water from the keg once more, he gasped for breath and at this moment, I clicked my tongue. This was life, not mine to lose or save, but his to lose.

There was no backing out of any sort.

I had to make him lose his senses.

I stood staring at him with no expression designed on my face as the water flood his face from eyes to ears and mouth. I watched him spit the water out and convulse for a while before passing out.

That was an intro.

I paced the room for a second as I needed not to rush, I had all the time.

I heard him breathing. I turned around and with fury, I splashed the liquid onto his face again. His body jerked awake but still like a dying fish that was blind to burn in an invisible fire.

He choked. I smiled. It was the kind of sound of terror and pain that made you smile in victory for long.

“Cry harder. Maybe your God would listen, you can as well say your lord's prayer as you hang on to the fragility of life.“ I said, voice cold and stern as Andre widened his eyes — bloodshot and red towards me but they failed to hide the weakness behind it.

I squat just low before him as I pushed the chair towards me before spreading his thighs apart to assert control.

“You spread her legs open, didn't you? But this here…” I paused, dragging in a saliva.

“I could cut the sausage off?“ I taunted.

He shivered, forcing all strength as if to escape but this was just the end.

“You see, Andre, I dug into all your deeds — your filth and perverted self. You didn't pick fights with men just women cause you're a weak one? And Jessica —” I paused as I pierced him with a nail, his scream victoriously satisfying.

“She was the wrong one you messed with. She bites back and I do just that — biting. And so, I have come to tear you apart not useless but to express the slowest death.“

I said gritting my teeth dreadfully.

“I wonder what you broke first. Trust? Bodies or souls? Did you smile after? You ever slept soundly?“

He struggled, sweats trickling down his already bare chest non stop. I chuckled — dark and stern.

“This one right here, is the one that breathes on you eternal rest and death.“

It was enough talk already, I needed to act and so I opened the duffel bag and took out a plier and brought it to his nails. He shook in fear as I balanced my grip around his finger and then fixed the plier in it and smiled with satisfaction as the plier pierced just the part I wanted, revealing to me a torn flesh as the blood squelched out.

And so I did all, just one at a time. No rush.

“First one is for all of her screams.“ The plier tugged almost loud.

“Second, for her jump and bleeding.“ I spat out, his blood suddenly irritated me as I hated the fact I touched filth.

“And third?…” I muttered, unsure but it made me smile.

“I would improvise.“ I muttered.

And then I took out a scalpel towards his bare chest.

“How beautiful for a confession page. Every stroke for a letter and every letter as the best apology carved in pain.“ I laughed as I carved it out.

First, J for Jessica and D — my signature.

He shook, I stayed still not moving.

I searched through the bag and saw a gin, I took it out and poured onto his chest. I loved how he begged for my mercy and cried in pain. I loved how I made his pain not reduce.

He trembled, screaming loud that his voice rang in echoes in the room but it was all in vain. The walls were soundproof, no one could come in.

I stood up and took a step backwards as I stared at Andre who was already bloodied, soaked and nearly unconscious.

I took out a knife and fixed a piercing gaze on him. He raised his head — weakly just to match gaze and I liked how he shuddered at the sight of knife.

And so I whispered just close to his hear — voice low, intimate and dangerous as I said with a threatening voice —

“How interesting would this exercise be if this was just a prelude.“

He trembled. I didn't bat an eyelid.

“You don't want a quick end, do you? That would be boring. You need a slow one so you remember every second of what it feels like to be powerless and lame. You deserve to rot.“ I said with a dead serious voice that he shook weakly.

I walked away slowly just a few steps apart from where he was as I took out an iron and heat the tip of the blade with a fire I burned in a flaming pot.

He sat there, jerking his body as he shot his eyes wide with raw fear.

I hissed as I spoke with all finality — “you preyed on the weak, now pray to whatever god you worship as this is wear you meet your death.“

“This is where you taste what judgement is like.“ I muttered as I pulled his arms towards me and placed the melting iron just on his skin.

I smirked, once I heard the hissing sound of the metal and his scream that reached nowhe
re.

I looked around the empty space.

“It is the place where you meet your death. Slow, poisoned and destined.“
