In the next moment, the man’s expression eased when he saw the woman’s gaze sweeping down from his collarbone with a hint of desire in her eyes.
At this time, Winnie realized that the man not only had a stunning face, but his figure was also extremely good. His waist was narrow, and he had well-defined abs that seemed like a work of art. His legs, which were partially hidden by the towel, were long and muscular.
‘Wait… Don’t tell me he’s my enemy? To think he looks like this…’
Winnie could hardly believe this, and she felt like crying.
“Have you seen enough?” the man asked coldly. Then, he pointed at the towel and continued to say with a half-smile, “How much further down do you want to look before you’re satisfied?”
"Have you seen enough?" a chilly voice sounded from above.
Winnie’s face flushed red. She did not intend to look at that place.
“I’m sorry!”
Just as she was about to move away, the man said playfully, “Miss, you’re going to pull the towel off if you move…”
Winnie was dumbfounded. When she looked down, she discovered that she was holding onto the edge of the towel. She quickly moved back and lifted her hand to let go of the towel, but this series of movements caused the towel to fall off the man’s waist.
Winnie stumbled back. She let out a cry and hurriedly closed her eyes, “I’m sorry!”
"Be careful!"
The man frowned and reached out to prevent her from falling.
After a loud thump rang in the air, Winnie slowly opened her eyes and found herself lying on top of the man. To make matters worse, the entire towel was now in her hands. In other words, the man was naked. Following that, she finally discovered the awkward posture they were in. Just as she moved, she heard the man say in a hoarse voice, “You better not move.”
Winnie froze immediately, and her face turned red. Then, she closed her eyes and handed the towel with trembling hands as she said, “I… I won’t look. I’ll return the towel to you.”
Winnie did not receive a response from the man, and she could hear his breathing growing heavier. For these reasons, she opened one eye slightly just to see him staring at her chest with dark eyes burning with desire. She screamed and scolded immediately, “You pervert, what are you looking at?”
The man’s gaze swept down to her legs.
Winnie followed his gaze and discovered that her legs were exposed due to how short the dress was. She said warningly, “Stop looking!”
The man smirked with a wicked gleam in his eyes as he asked, “Didn’t you dress like this for me?"
‘This has nothing to do with me! I had no idea I would be given such a dress to change into!’
Winnie attempted to get up, but the man suddenly said hoarsely, “I can’t guarantee you won’t touch anything if you keep moving.”
Winnie froze, terrified, as her face turned red again.
At the same time, the man reached for the towel and slowly moved Winnie away.
Winnie quickly moved to the side and covered her eyes. She took a deep breath before she asked, “Are.. are you okay?”
The man looked at her blushing face, and the corners of his lips could not help but curl up slightly.
"Be careful when you stand up,” the man reminded her, worried that she would fall again.
With that, Winnie slowly opened her eyes and discovered that the man had wrapped the towel again around his waist. Now that she looked at his exquisite face again, she actually found the man somewhat familiar. Suddenly, she remembered the purpose of her visit and asked, “Hey, are you the boss of Imperial Jewelry? Lawrence?”
"And who are you?" the man asked, completely clueless as to who she was.
"I’m the boss of Eternity Jewelry. Your enemy,” Winnie said resentfully.
"Never heard of you,” the man replied dismissively with a hint of arrogance in his eyes.
‘He dares to say to the he’s never heard of me? He even sent an email insulting my chest!’ Winnie fumed inwardly, filled with disbelief. After a moment, she asked, uncertain, “Are you really Lawrence?”
The man glanced at her. A hint of warning could be seen in his eyes as he said, “Don’t you think you should do something about your dress? Or do you plan to watch me change? If so, don’t blame me if something happens…”
Winnie was stunned. When she looked down at her dress, she saw that her neckline had been pulled down.
At the same time, the man removed his towel nonchalantly.
"Ah, pervert!"
With that, Winnie ran out of the room with a red face.
…
The people outside the room watched in confusion as the woman with the beautiful figure ran out. All of a sudden, their sight was blocked by the man.
Benjamin looked at the tall, masked man in front of him and asked, puzzled, “Mr. L, why are you wearing this mask?”
“Who let her in?” the man asked in a deep voice.
Seeing the gloomy expression on the man’s face, Benjamin raised his hand weakly and said in a small voice, “I was the one who let Mrs. L in…”
“Did you give her that dress?"
"I… I was hoping to enhance the newlywed’s relationship…”
The man looked at Benjamin sharply before he turned to the man standing next to him and said, “Jeremy, have a female employee bring a set of clothing for her to cover up now!"
Jeremy, who wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, smiled before he left to deal with the matter.
“Mr. L, based on the situation, do you… do you want to take a cold shower first?” Benjamin asked, glancing at the man’s waist.
The man glared at Benjamin before he grabbed Benjamin’s tie and dragged the latter into the room.
“Okay, okay, I was wrong!” Benjamin said before he asked curiously, “Why are you wearing this mask again after so many years? In the past, you wore it to hide your great looks and avoid female attention. Why are you wearing it again? Are you hiding from someone?”
At this moment, Jeremy entered the room.
Winnie stood in the corridor outside of the room, talking to Olivia on the phone. She said angrily, “CEO? He only knows how to put on airs! He even forces people to change their clothes just to see him! He’s a pervert! He can kiss my ass! I swear, he’s really my enemy!”
Upon hearing those words that were said in a sweet voice, the corners of the man’s lips twitched, but his expression remained unchanged.
Jeremy glanced at the man before he said to Benjamin meaningfully, “He’s wearing a mask because there’s someone he can’t see for now. As for the reason, it’s a secret…”
"What kind of secret?" Benjamin asked.
Meanwhile, Winnie, who had already changed back into her clothes, continued to complain to Olivia.
All of sudden, Olivia interjected, asking, “So what does your enemy look like?”
Winnie replied truthfully, “He’s more beautiful than me."
Olivia exclaimed in surprise and said, “More beautiful than you? Then he must be extremely handsome!”
Winnie pouted and said sulkily, “In any case, he might not necessarily be the boss of Imperial Jewelry. I asked him several times, but he didn’t answer me. There’s still a chance that the boss of Imperial Jewelry is hideous..."
At this time, Winnie felt a touch on her back, and she spun around. When she saw the masked man, she almost dropped her phone in fear.
"Mr. L, what are you doing here?"
Seeing the other party, she recalled the place she was at and the intimate incident with that handsome man earlier. She lowered her head immediately, feeling slightly nervous.
"Who did you say is hideous?"
“It doesn’t matter, but it’s definitely not you,” Winnie said, flattering him.
The man stared at her and asked, “Why did you come to a place like this?”
"Mr. L, we agreed not to interfere in each other’s lives. I have something to do, so I’ll take my leave first,” Winnie said.
She was a bit fearful of him and wanted to leave quickly. However, when she turned around, she saw Ava at the end of the corridor, entering a private room. Not long after that, another man followed her into the room. Most importantly, that man was not Daniel.
Winnie narrowed her eyes. The Anderson family had suppressed her to this extent, she naturally wanted revenge. As such, she could not let go of anything that could be used against them.
“Mr. L, I still have something to do. I’ll leave first,” Winnie said.
Winnie made her way to the private room at the end of the corridor. To her dismay, the door was locked. Just as she was about to give up, a tall figure walked over from behind and casually swiped it on the door. With this, the door unlocked immediately.
Winnie looked at him in shock. Then, she asked, “Mr. L, what kind of person are you? Do you have some shady dealings in this clubhouse?”
After all, he could casually open the door to a private room.
He looked at her silently, thinking to himself that he owned the club.
“What kind of person am I? I’m the person who got you pregnant,” he said.
Winnie was rendered speechless by those words.
After that, the duo snuck into the spacious private room silently. As soon as they entered, Ava’s voice suddenly rang in the air.
The man reacted quickly and pulled Winnie into the closet by the door.
