We are in Sam's SUV heading home. This should be an interesting trip. We brought Steven with us to watch over Katie while we are at the club tonight.
A thought occurs to me, “Oh if we have time, I want to stop by the office.”
“Then we are coming with you,” Eric states.
I shake my head, “Seriously, how much trouble could I get up to?”
They all say in unison 'plenty'. I groan, “Fine.” It isn't worth the battle but I will have to come up with a way to explain them. I can't just waltz in and say ‘hey everyone, meet my lovers’, can I?
I start my playlist and Vincent immediately whines, “Please, no!”
I laugh as I turn it up, “Sam's vehicle and he lets me.”
Sam laughs with me because he enjoys ribbing Vincent too.
Vincent glares at Sam, “Oh I'll get you for this, wolfman!”
“How bad can it be?” Steven asks.
Just then Macarena came on and Katie squealed. Katie and I started singing along and doing the little dance in our seats.
Vincent rolls his eyes, “If there is a god, strike me down now.”
That gives me an idea. “Aguamenti,” I say as a ball of water forms in my hand. I throw it at Vincent.
“What the hell!” he yells.
I laugh, “You asked for it!”
He brushes off the water the best he can, “No, I didn't.”
I smirk as I laugh, “You said for god to strike you down, well your goddess just did!”
That made everyone laugh. But Vincent has other plans. “I'll so get you back for that,” he says as he my arm and electricity course through me making my hair stand up.
I glare at him, “Jackass!” To fix my hair I say, “Crinus Muto.”
He huffs, “Show off!”
I wink at him, “Maybe you can learn spells. Anything's possible at this point.”
Single Ladies by Beyoncé starts
playing as Katie says, “I love this song!”
We start singing and moving to it.
The guys just stare at me. “What? I ask.
Sam’s tone is low and serious, “Katie is the only single lady in this car.”
I try to joke, “Because I'm no lady.”
Now Vincent has a sternness to his voice, “That and you're not single.”
I know that I'm not single. In the shifter community I'm married to Sam. Then there's Vincent who asked me to spend an eternity with him. But I'm not ready to fully concede just yet, “Can we leave Vincent at the side of the road?”
Sam gives me a look, “No, because he's right.”
I huff, “Spoilsport!”
Katie says, “Girl it's your fate just accept it.”
I know she's right. Destiny was the choice that I made to get us here. Fate is what we will become. But I still worry about my future with the guys. They won't always be bound to me, will they?
“More like the gods are punishing me,” I tell Katie.
“My thoughts exactly,” Vincent says.
That kinda stung so I will react. I must get a look on my face because Sam says, “Eva, I know that look.”
I roll down my window and a swarm of butterflies come and land on Vincent.
“Wow! Dramatic improvement!” Katie yells as she claps which makes us all laugh.
“I'll pull over so the butterflies can leave,” Sam tells us. “You're getting better at this, Snow White,” he adds.
He does and I send the insects on
their way. Steven takes this time to ask, “Did you say a spell in your head?”
I try to explain it to him, “No, I just reached out to the butterflies and mentally entered one. I used it to communicate to the rest.”
“So not a witch,” Steven says.
“No, she's not a witch. Just no more cats, Eva,” Vincent demands.
I giggle because I will not guarantee that. I enjoy torturing his moody ass.
Eric chuckles as he addresses Vincent, “Teach you to wear tighter pants, man.”
We all laugh at that.
“I'm hungry,” I announce.
“Stop using your powers then you won't be,” Sam quips.
I pat him on the shoulder, “You know I'll still be.”
“She eats a lot always has, not that it shows,” Katie says in my defense.
“I'll stop at the next promising exit,” Sam says.
Regulate by Warren G. comes on. They all stare at me. I shrug, “What? I like rap and hip-hop.”
Steven smiles, “They're just old.”
“So I'm not?” I ask him.
“You kinda are but you're cool,” Steven says.
“Hey! I thought I was cool,” Sam says to Steven.
Steven smiles, “She's cooler.”
I laugh as I mock Sam, “Ha! Suck it, Sam!”
Sam growls at me as a song that I know will shock them plays. As soon as it starts Katie squeals and dances and sings along with me in our seats.
My Neck, My Back (Lick It) by Khia
All you ladies pop yo' p*ssy like this
Shake your body, don't stop, don't miss
All you ladies pop yo "p*ssy like this
Shake your body, don't stop, don't miss
Just do it, do it, do it, do it, do it now
Lick it good
Suck this p*ssy just like you should, right now
Lick it good
Suck this p*ssy just like you should, my neck, my back
Lick my p*ssy and my crack
First you gotta put yo' neck into it
Ah don't stop, just do it, do it
Then, you roll your tongue
From the, crack back to the front
Then ya, suck it all 'til I shake and c*m niggga
Make sure I keep bustin' nuts niggga
All over yo' face and stuff
Slow head show me so much love
The best head comes from a thug
The d*ck good, thick big and long
Slow thumpin' "til the crack of dawn
On the X, makin' faces and stuff
Through the night, makin' so much love
Dead sleep when the sun comes up
I'm pulled from my enjoyment of the
song by Steven, “Eva are their eyes supposed to be like that?”
F*ck!
“Whoa they're like swirling rainbows,” Katie says.
I gulp and cross my legs, “They’re hazed.”
“Thought it was a wolf and shifter thing,” Steven says.
“Yeah not when it comes to those two,” I say as I point to Eric and Vincent.
“What is haze?” Katie asks as Lady Marmalade from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack comes on.
I roll my eyes at the irony, “Well f*ck me!”
Vincent smirks, “Voulez vous coucher avec moi, c'est soire? Is correct, but we aren't waiting until tonight.”
Katie asks, “So when you're hazed you're just a bunch of nymphomaniacs?”
“Only with mates or those we choose to hookup with for the season,” Sam explains.
Katie sighs, “Girl you're so fucking lucky.”
I am but I'm not. I'm having the best sex ever but at what price. “You can only fight it so long is the problem. So no I'm not that lucky. The haze controls us, we don't control it,” I tell her.
“Your scent,” Sam growls.
He's right. Crap! My haze is going to kick in any minute, I can feel the heat rising and the pressure building.
“Ummm Sam, find a place,” I beg because I know that once it peaks I will have no control.
“Working on it,” he says while gritting his teeth and gripping the wheel hard.
We pull off onto an exit and hedrives super fast. We arrive at a nature park. Hopefully, I can find us cover and soon!
