Chapter 140 140
CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY

AURORA'S P.O.V

"I want your power."

I tilted my head.
"I'm sorry, please repeat that, I think I didn't hear you clearly."

"I said, I want your power. I need your powers."

"My powers." I repeated blankly.

"Yes. The one you got when you awakened your bloodline."

"You don't have it." Not a question.

He shrugged, the side of his lips turned down.
"For some reason, the only thing I got when I awakened my bloodline was just the color of my hair and eyes."

"So you want to take mine...why?"

"Because I don't think you deserve it, I need it more than you do. I'm an alpha with a pack to protect, you have a mate that can do that."

"And I don't deserve it, how?"

He glared at me.
"You used you're powers for evil and killed an alpha and took his pack forcefully. You never deserved the powers."

I took a deep shuddering breath, tipped my head back and counted to ten.
"So...all these while..." I rubbed my chest, "...you took me here, brought me here against my will because you wanted my powers."

He nodded immediately, his eyes still.
"Yes."

A snort escaped my lips, with my head lowered and hands balled into fists, I screamed.
"You bastard! You bloody bastard!" I took the empty plates from my earlier meal and began to throw them at him, but he kept evading them, letting them crash to the ground in pieces.

"Hey, stop that." He yelled.

The plates gone, I dragged the blanket and flying it at him along with anything I could find.

"You bloody, stinking, backstabbing bastard! All these while I thought you brought me here to revenge not reaching out to you, but it turns out that all you wanted were my powers."

He moved out of my way as I inched forward, I continued, my voice raw and tears streaming down my cheeks.

"How am I sure I'm even your sister huh?"

He opened his mouth to speak but I beat him to it.

"Forget the damn resemblance, you could have done it with black magic. I'm such a fool, thinking I finally, finally had a sibling who might one day, care for me. But its just my powers he wanted. You're worse than Desmond, at least he was honest and upfront about what he wanted. He didn't use tricks like lying to pull my defenses down and trick me."

"I never meant to trick you, I was being honest." He yelled over my high pitched screams.

I glared at him through my disarrayed hair.
"Honest? Were you honest?"

"Yes, I told you I didn't like you from the very start. I also said I wanted something from you, something close to you."

"And it's my powers? Aren't you supposed to be my "brother" ? You fake ass, lying bastard."

A cold look crossed his features.
"Stop calling me names."

"Or what?" I laughed at him, "Are you going to hurt me, bind me and take the powers. Well let me tell you something, I'm not going down without a fight. If you want my powers, you are going to do that over my dead body."

He frowned.
"I don't want you to die, all I just need are your powers. Once I have them, you are free to go."

I watched my head to both sides.
"And then I never have to see you again right."

He nodded.
"Exactly."

I turned away and stumbled over to the bed, my hands limp. Loud sobs racked my body as I buried my face in my hands. I was so stupid, to think that I could actually forge a relationship with him. There goes my plans for sibling love. I heard the door closing behind me and I knew he had left. I lifted my head slowly and glanced down at the chain on my ankle.

"Willow." I whispered my wolf's name.

After a few seconds, she answered.
'I was wondering when you were going to call me.'

With a soulless voice, I told her.
"Get me out of here."

'You don't need to ask twice.'

As soon as she said that, the chain glowed red and melted off my ankle. I felt myself standing up, the room began to spin, it spun so fast that I ended up closingy eyes to stop myself from vomiting. Soon enough, the spinning stopped.

'You can open your eyes now.' Willow prompted.

I opened my eyes and gasped in shock. I looked around me just to confirm it was where I thought I was.

"I'm in the pack, our pack." I whispered in wonder.

'You got that right. This is a rare ability I like to use. Teleportation, I figured you couldn't wait to leave that place.

"You got it right. I couldn't stand another minute in that place. Or I would have killed him and everyone in that bloody place." I replied with venom.

My eyes roamed the place where I stood. Willow had placed me at the same place where I had been taken. The place still looked the same, nothing different. The trees swayed with the cool wind that felt welcome against my skin, I drew in the fresh air through my nose and let it sit in my lungs while I raised my arms up to the sky as if to embrace it.

"This is what freedom feels like. Perfect."

I stared into the blue sky, birds and butterflies flew around, making various chirp and sounds. Lucian. I have to go see Lucian.

"I'm sure he misses me so bad and he will be ecstatic to see me. Right?"

I was just speaking to myself, but when I heard an answer behind me, I nearly jumped out of my skin.

"You got that right, Aurora."

Before I could fully turn to see his face, I felt him on me, his large hands grabbed me into his body as he nuzzled his nose in the crook of my neck. I shivered in his grasp, letting out a soft whimper of pleasure.

"Lucian." I whispered his name softly, fighting back the tears that threatened to slip from my eyes while I took a deep whiff of his scent.

"My Aurora, you're back." He whispered back, his voice filled with yearning and love for V
