He strode into Spring Villa right away.
Inside, Boss Sam didn't care that blood was pouring down his head. He shuddered before Jayden, pleading with him to say something positive in front of Ethan. Otherwise, no matter how many lives he had, they wouldn't be sufficient!
At that moment, Ethan entered.
"M-Mr. Wilson!"
Boss Sam's heart was in his throat, his eyes widening with horror!
Ethan has arrived. What did that mean?
Thump!
Boss Sam dared not to give it too much thought. Without any delay, he knelt down deeply in front of Ethan, slamming his skull into the ground!
"Mr. Wilson, I'm at fault! Please punish me!"
There was brief anger in Ethan's eyes.
Besides, his life couldn't be spared since he laid a hand on Sharon!
"I was really unaware of Miss's identity, Sir. I only touched her slightly..."
Upon thinking that Ethan wanted his life, he was so terrified that he begged for forgiveness. Despite that, Ethan ignored him completely and went to face Jayden immediately.
Jayden obviously realized what he meant, instantly falling on his knees and begging, "Young Master, please forgive me. Miss was standing next to me when you called earlier, so it prevented me from telling Samuel what you said, which is what led to this predicament. Please punish me accordingly, Young Master."
"If this happens again, the Wilsons won't be able to save you." Ethan coldly said to Jayden after a little pause.
"Thank you very much, Young Master. I swear this won't repeat again."
Jayden bent down, thanking Ethan.
When he saw Ethan's icy, cruel look on Samuel again, he hastily attempted to save the latter.
"Master, over the years, it's impossible to separate Samuel's underground operations from Cloud Group's rising. I understand a little bit about the situation; he didn't force her, but... It was rather the former Miss who took the initiative!"
Even though he was risking a lot by speaking up, this matter also concerned him as well. He didn't want Samuel to dragged into it.
Ethan felt Jayden's words strike him in the head like a wake-up call.
Sharon really took the initiative?
Had she really changed that much?
Noticing that Ethan wasn't angry, Jayden persuaded him further, "In my opinion, Young Master, you don't really need to go so far over that kind of a woman. She's no longer the same as she was before... Miss Thomas has completely changed!"
"Ha..."
Ethan finally let out a sigh. It was true; He really need to let go of her.
"I'll spare you this time."
Ethan looked at Samuel, aware that a single word from him may end up killing Samuel.
But for that type of woman, was it really worth losing a faithful subordinate?
Ethan didn't understand this.
"Thank you, thank you so much, Mr. Wilson!"
Boss Sam bowed swiftly, full of gratitude.
"Regarding leaving New York, talk about it with Jayden."
Ethan left right away, not wanting to stay any longer.
"Master, let me go with you," Jayden said urgently.
"No need; I'd like to go for a walk alone," Ethan said, waving his hand.
The way Sharon had changed made him uncomfortable.
Even though he was strolling through well-known streets and commercial centers, everything appeared to be different.
Feeling sorrow, he shook his head and kept moving on.
Just then, there was a loud cry coming from nearby.
"Go away, don't touch me!"
A gorgeous, tidy woman in business attire left a hotel swiftly, obviously drunk. She was, however, blocked by a few men who appeared to be thugs.
"Miss Miller, you left before our boss finished his drink. Isn't that disrespectful?"
"That's right, Miss Miller. Return upstairs and have a couple more drinks. If you do so, our boss will sign your contract."
"You shouldn't spoil our boss's mood. If you anger him, we won't be able to collaborate."
The drunken woman was being mocked by the thugs who were blocking her path and trying to get hold of her.
"Go away!"
With a swaying body and an angry look, Chloe Miller shoved them away. "I refuse to drink. I don't want that contract anymore, damnit!"
"Even if it reaches the worst point, I don't want it!"
She was drunk and a little lightheaded, but she wasn't stupid enough to overlook what the other party wanted. By hook or by crook, she wouldn't go back to that place.
"You don't want it? I can't let you do that, Miss Miller. Our boss is really excited about this deal, so you'll sign whether you want to or not!"
With a tinge of menace, one of the hooligans sneered.
When they saw this, people in the area stayed away in fear of getting involved. They were all aware that these people were from the Royal Hotel, and those who could spend money there were either wealthy or influential! Since they were all wealthy New Yorkers, the general public wasn't allowed to get involved in their affairs.
As a result, a lot of people pretended not to see, with some even avoiding the area.
Chloe felt hopeless. Were all of these people blind?
Her head was spinning even more. At that time, she saw a tall person approaching them.
She couldn't see very well, but based on the body type, it seemed like a male. She charged straight toward Ethan, without even thinking twice. "Darling, you arrived at last!"
She leaned dangerously close to him as she yelled.
Ethan was engrossed in his memories and failed to see the current situation. When he finally snapped back to reality, Chloe's delicate form was perfectly pushed against him, soft and flexible.
"Darling, you're running late..."
Chloe spoke to Ethan in a seductive manner. Then, she turned to face the men obstructing her path and said, "He's my boyfriend, and he's a Taekwondo black-belter! I won't be having another drink with your stupid boss, so you'd better leave!"
Ethan raised an eyebrow slightly as he turned to see the intoxicated lady in his arms.
The men looked at him with a look of disdain on their features.
"A boyfriend?"
"I doubt it!"
"Kid, no matter who you are, she's now our boss's woman! You'd better get lost if you don't want to die!" the leader spat at Ethan.
"You can't leave me, Darling!"
Even with her eyelids heavy with sleep, Chloe held onto Ethan's clothes.
"Didn't you hear? My girlfriend isn't interested in returning and drinking. You should quickly go, or else I won't hold back anymore."
Ethan said icily.
He didn't want to get involved initially, but since the woman was grabbing his clothes and dragged him into this, he might as well lend a hand.
"You're acting like a hero, huh? Okay, let us show you the meaning of asking for trouble!"
With a frightening expression, the hooligan leader threw a punch directly at Ethan's face. The others laughed, anticipating the show.
This man was a former elite soldier who had really been on the front lines!
Not to mention a Taekwondo black-belter, even a Taekwondo champion probably can't match up to him in a real fight!
However, their smiles abruptly froze in the next instant.
With a piercing sound, Ethan violently punched the hooligan leader, sent flying as he crashed into the hotel entrance's glass door.
