The next morning, when Lydia woke up, her favorite breakfast was already on the table.

“Hmph! I don’t believe Mom’s promises. You promised to sleep with us at night, but these past two days, you’ve been sleeping alone. You came back and didn’t even acknowledge us!”
Lydia quickly approached, kissing Wythe’s cheek. “Wythe, I’m really sorry. Mommy made a mistake before. I promise there won’t be a next time, okay?”
As Lydia spoke, she looked to Lambert for help. Lambert gave her a casual glance and said to Wythe,” Alright, sweetheart. Since your mom has realized her mistake, we’ll forgive her this time. But to make sure she remembers, she still needs to be punished.”
Lydia’s face instantly turned sour. “There’s still punishment?”
“Of course!” Lambert’s tone was indifferent. “I’m punishing you to sleep with us from now on.”
Lydia blushed at his words and glared at Lambert. What kind of punishment was this?
Clearly, he was just using his authority for personal gain!
Lambert raised an eyebrow. “Don’t agree?”
