Chapter 71 Chapter Seventy-One
I laugh softly. "I punched Raikin."
"You punched him? Why did you punch him? Are you okay?" Lilly asks, eyes going even wider as she stares at my hand.
"Yes I'm okay baby. Raikin was talking shit and I kind of lost it." I tell her looking down at my knuckles.
"Was he talking shit about me?" She asks quietly.
I don't want to lie to her. So I tell her the truth. "Yes baby he was. But he understands now, I told him why you were with Logan. He feels really bad."
I put my finger under her chin raising her head up until she is looking at me. I slowly rub the back of her hand with my thumb, staring into her beautiful eyes. "Does he not want this to work between the four of us?" She asks in a whisper so low I almost can't hear her.
I cup her cheek with my free hand, wiping away a tear that's falling. "Of course he does baby. He has just had a lot of really bad relationships in the past, so he kind of developed a love them and leave them habit. You know to avoid being hurt. So being in a serious relationship is new to him."
"This relationship is new to me too I have never even had a real relationship with anyone. You were the first person I ever even had sex with. I don't know how to do all of this. Especially not with three guys at the same time." Lilly's eyes go wide and her voice shakes as she rambles on.
"It's okay baby. We have never done this before either. This is all new to all of us. You don't have to figure this out on your own, okay baby? We are going to figure it all out together." I rub her cheek gently with my thumb, trying to reassure her that we are here for her. She isn't doing this alone.
"Do you guys still want to be with me?" Lilly asks and I almost laugh at the outrageousness of that question. How could she think I wouldn't want to be with her anymore she is literally perfect.
"Of course we do baby. You are everything we have been looking for and more."
Lilly takes a deep breath, releasing it slowly. "Are you sure Raikin doesn't hate me?"
This time I am unable to stop myself from laughing. "Yes baby. I am sure. He feels bad for the way he talked to you."
Lilly narrows her eyes at me. "Then why isn't he the one talking to me right now?"
"He was afraid you wouldn't want to talk to him. Or if you did talk to him, it would be to tell him to fuck off or something. Especially after the things he said to you." I give her a soft smile.
Lilly doesn't say anything so I add. "He wanted to come talk to you, but me and Reece told him it would probably be best to let you cool off for a little while before he came and talked to you."
Lilly nods her head. "Oh okay." She pauses for a second, then her eyes go wide with concern. "Is Reece mad at me? You know for going with Logan?" She asks, and honestly I don't really know. Reece didn't say much of anything earlier.
"Honestly baby, I don't know. He didn't really say much when me and Raikin were arguing earlier." I give her an apologetic smile.
She looks down and whispers. "Oh."
"I'm sure he understands why you were out all night with Logan baby. You don't have to worry about it. If he is mad I'm sure he will get over it real quick." I ramble, trying to find the right words to say that will make her feel better. I hate seeing her hurting like this.
"Thank you Raikin." Lilly whispers looking into my eyes.
"For what baby?"
"For being here with me." She gives me a soft smile and I'm glad to see the tears have stopped.
"Of course. I will always be here for you baby. No matter what." I pull her in close to me, wrapping my arms tightly around her.
Lilly doesn't hesitate. She wraps her arms around my waist burying her face in my chest. "I love you Ryder."
I kiss the top of her head. "I love you too baby."
Lilly turns her head and yawns. She must be exhausted. I highly doubt she slept any while she was with Logan. "Come on baby. You need to get some sleep."
Lilly shakes her head against my chest. "No. I'm okay. I need to talk to Reece and Raikin."
"You can talk to them later baby. First you need to get some sleep." I start walking us towards her bed, never letting go of her.
The back of her legs hit the bed and she sits down, still clinging tightly to my waist. "Will you stay with me please Ryder?"
"I'm not going anywhere baby. Come on let's get you in something comfortable."
Lilly let's go of my waist and I bend down taking her boots off. I reach for the hem of her shirt and she raises her hands above her head letting me pull her shirt off.
God, she is so fucking sexy. I unbutton her skirt and she raises her hips, letting me pull her skirt off. She isn't wearing any panties? She wasn't wearing any with Logan or did he keep them? Shaking my head, I clear those thoughts from my mind. It doesn't matter either way.
I walk over to her dresser pulling an old T-shirt out for her to wear. "Here baby. Put this on." I hand her the shirt and she does as I say.
Lilly scoots back on the bed and I lay down beside her, pulling her close to me. She snuggles up to me, laying her head and hand on my chest. "Get some sleep baby. I will be here when you wake up." I kiss the top of her head and she tilts her head up looking at me.
She kisses me once and lays her head back down on my chest. It doesn't take long for her to fall asleep and Iay there holding her just like I promised.
My mind wanders back to the no panties thing. Did she do something with Logan? Is that why she didn't want to take her skirt off in front of us? No I don't think she did anything. She wouldn't lie to me, would she?
