Chapter 32 Chapter Thirty-Two
I roll my eyes. “A little too honest.”
Raikin laughs. “No such thing baby.” He leans over kissing my cheek. “Go put some pants on baby. We will start dinner.”
Start dinner? They know how to cook? Wow they just keep getting better. They are sexy, funny, sweet, and they can cook. I think I hit the jack pot on perfect men. I make my way upstairs throwing on a pair of fuzzy pink pajama pants with cute little stars on them.
I take a minute to check my phone, since I left it up here earlier. There is a new message from Logan.
Logan: Hey baby. Hope you are having a good day. I wish you could come hang out with me.
Oh god. I forgot about Logan. How are Reece and Raikin going to feel about me hanging out with Logan and the other guys. Ryder doesn’t care, or at least he didn’t. Before I found out they wanted a shared relationship with me, Ryder didn’t care. What if that has changed?
Logan is my friend, him and the other guys. Calvin, Aaron, Brandon, and Harrison are all my friends. I can’t just shut them out of my life. If Reece, Ryder, and Raikin don’t want me to kiss them, flirt with them and stuff I will stop doing that, but I am not going to stop being their friends.
How will I tell Logan I can’t flirt and be with him anymore in that way, if they don’t want me to see him anymore? How are we going to tell anyone we are together? How do you tell someone you are dating multiple guys without sounding like a whore? Will people think Reece, Raikin, and Ryder are weird for wanting to share one girl?
I guess these are all things we will have to figure out together as a group. I’m sure we will have to get used to people judging us, giving us weird looks, and talking behind our backs. Until that day comes, I am just going to enjoy being with them in our peaceful bubble.
Me: My day has been better than expected. I hope you are having a good day too. Maybe I can come see you in the next couple of days. I miss you! (kissy face)
Heading back down stairs I make my way to the kitchen where the guys are cooking something that smells fantastic. Ryder is chopping vegetables at the center counter. Raikin is stirring noodles and rice on the stove. Reece is preparing some spring rolls by the sink.
“Do you guys need any help? Just tell me what to do and I will do it?” I ask looking between the three of them.
They all look at me at the same time. “We got this baby. You just sit your sexy ass down and let us cook for you.” Reece says, winking at me before turning back to what he was doing.
I sit on the stool at the counter watching each of them as they glide around the kitchen each one taking turns, putting stuff on the stove and stirring the stuff in the pots and pans. “It smells amazing.”
“Thank you, baby.” Ryder says.
It’s nice seeing them work together so well like this. I got used to cooking myself dinners, my mom was always out with her boyfriend of the week so if I didn’t cook, I didn’t eat. It feels good to have someone cooking for me for once.
“Boys were home.” Curtis yells from the doorway.
“Lilly, honey where are you?” I hear my mom yell, and I can’t help but roll my eyes.
“We’re in the kitchen.” Raikin yells back.
Mom and Curtis come in a minute later. “That smells amazing boys.” Curtis says smiling at his sons.
“It’s vegetable stir fry with some noodles, fried rice, and some spring rolls.” Reece says without turning around from the stove.
“Thank you, guys, so much for cooking dinner.” My mom coos, and it takes everything in me to not roll my eyes again. She has never acted so motherly in my entire life. Don’t get me wrong, she has had her good moments, but they were few and far between growing up. Ryder nods his head, looking over at me for a brief second. “Dad you and Carolyn go get ready for dinner it will be done soon.”
They leave the kitchen leaving me alone with my guys. “You okay baby?” Ryder asks.
I nod my head. “Yeah, I am alright. I am going to set the table.”
Ryder kisses my cheek. “Okay baby. I love you.”
I smile, giving him a quick peck on the lips. “I love you too.”
A couple minutes after setting the table, dinner is ready, and mom and Curtis come into the dining room to eat with us. Curtis sits at the head of the table, mom sitting to his left. Reece sits to the right of him. I am sitting by Reece. Ryder is sitting beside mom across from me and Raikin is sitting at the other end of the table. I love having my boyfriends surrounding me. Boyfriends that sounds weird, but I like it.
“How was everyone’s day?” Curtis asks after everyone gets their plates full.
Me, Reece, Ryder, and Raikin look at each other. My cheeks heat slightly, thinking about everything that happened today between the four of us. “We had a great day, getting to know Lilly and spending time with our baby brother.” Reece says and I stare down at my plate unable to make eye contact with anyone.
“How was your day, Lilly?” My mom asks.
I lift my head looking at her. “I had a great day today. It was a lot of fun getting to know my older brothers. I wish they would have came home sooner.”
Ryder winks at me and I have to bite my lip to keep from laughing. Reece and Raikin smirk. Each one giving me a knowing look. My mom looks between the four of us eyes narrowed for a second, but then she smiles.
“I’m glad you guys are getting a long and you had such a good day today.” Mom says, taking another bite of her food.
“How was your day mom?” I ask, trying to get the attention away from us, before she realizes something is going on with us.
Mom nods her head, leaning side to side while she chews. “It was good, we stayed busy today.” She looks over to Curtis smiling.
“Yes, we were very busy today.” Curtis says, smiling back at her. It’s clear to anyone that’s looking how much they love each other.
Mom and Curtis work together at a law firm; she is his receptionist now. They met about a year ago, when mom went into his law office looking for legal advice about something that happened at her old job.
They met, they fell in love, typical romantic love story. I’m happy for them though. I just hope my mom stays with him. He deserves something good in his life, after everything I have heard about him today.
“I’m glad you guys had a good day today.” I say smiling at them, and I am genuinely happy for them. “Do you guys have to work tomorrow?” I ask trying to sound casual.
