Ariana Peyton's Diary (Mated to an Enemy) tells the story of a female child and her experiences in her immediate nuclear family. A place where her father thinks he's superior and can do whatever he wants just because he's stinkingly rich and expects his wife to praise him and stick to him despite her being treated like trash, that's what a narcissist is. It also displays the strong bond a mother and daughter can have. The bond of love was so strong that she became a hero for her mom by stabbing the person who wanted to assasinate her in the back one fateful night

She hated to watch her mom getting hit or maltreated by the man she hated the most in the whole wide world and whom she'd never call 'father', but it happened everyday and she could not do anything about it.

When it gets too much for her, Ariana sought an escape route by running to the only man that ever loved her-MIKE TONY, who was a very kind, fatherly neighbor in his early thirties but at the end of the day, he threw her trust in the soil and soiled it.

The irony of life started to get really evident in her life when she starts to really like Big Joe, her biggest bully after he disappeared from school for a long time only for him to return, apologize to her, become nice and then died. It all happened too fast, that she almost lost her sanity.

Losing two of her schoolmates without being able to do anything saddened her but it was of utmost joy and importance to her to be able to protect her mom. And she also derived solace in the gift Joe left with her before he died, and ahe doesn't find out its power until several days later. It was an instrument for time travel! A pouch!

Ariana runs from life and stops feeling -she becomes totally numb, the only persom who could unnumb her was not even human. Ironically, she felt safe around him even though she was extremely terrified..His name was Robinson, an alpha werewolf from the Were-Castle

She longed for siblings, love, warmth. All came but with thorns. Her mother had twins and it'd have been a total success for her but she made a mistake!

She made mistakes. Mistakes that she could not unmake. She was warned not to go forward in time, but she did..she was curious. Her curiousity killed the cat(her) not physically but emotionally. She checked into Jamie's future-- Jamie, her little sister.

Now it was her job to reverse the future of her little sister but no one could help! Not even the one who wants to be mated to her! He didn't have the power.

But Ariana was determined to find a way. She was certain there must be a way to save her sister's future or it'd crumble before her very eyes

While looking for help and a way out, it seemed someone else was seeking her help as well. This spooky figure which continued to visit her, and who no one else ever saw.

The worst thing is she must not tell any human these secrets, and that's one of the reasons frequent visits to Dr Brown's doesn't help. The relief his therapy gave was momentary.

Ariana was further lost in a world of no escape but this all pointed to the fact that she wasn't of the realist's world , Little wonder it never sits well with her; she was of the world located in the pile of books on her shelf.

And her whole life was controlled by her experiences.. Even in her later years, she feared anything marriage, time travel, death and had a big phobia for break-ups as a result of helplessly watching her parents argue, cuss and hit each other everyday before their final divorce

Whether she'll find the solution she so badly sought and whether she'll escape into her own world, or stay by her mother and sisters is a question that's answered only when you read further in this book
