As they entered Victoria's Secret, Emily was hit with a wave of floral perfume. Racks of lacy bras and skimpy panties surrounded them in a sea of pastels and jewel tones.
"So what are we thinking?" Sophia mused, fingering a sheer babydoll nightie. "Sweet and innocent or straight-up dominatrix?"
Emily snorted. "How about something in between? I want to feel sexy but still like myself."
She ran her hand over a silky emerald green bra, admiring the delicate lace trim. Maybe this could work...
"Well, this is certainly not something I'd wear to the office."
Sophia grinned, holding up a matching thong. "That's kinda the point, babe. You're not dressing for a board meeting."
Emily snatched the delicate underwear, examining the intricate lace detailing. It was beautiful, she had to admit. And the emerald hue would complement her eyes.
"Go on, try it on," Sophia urged, practically shoving Emily towards the dressing room.
Behind the curtain, Emily slipped into the bra and thong, marveling at how the silk felt against her skin. She caught sight of herself in the mirror and paused. The woman staring back at her exuded a confidence she hadn't felt in ages.
"How's it look?" Sophia called out.
Emily emerged, striking a playful pose. "What do you think?"
Sophia let out a low whistle. "Damn, girl. Lucas won't know what hit him."
A flush crept up Emily's neck at the mention of his name. She turned back to the mirror, picturing Lucas' reaction. His hungry gaze roaming over her body, those strong hands reaching for her...
"Earth to Emily," Sophia teased. "Are you still with me?"
Emily blinked, snapping out of her fantasy. "Sorry, just... thinking."
"Uh huh. I bet." Sophia winked, handing her a green suspender belt and nude stockings with red trim. "The pièce de résistance."
As Emily fastened the suspenders, she couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. This was so far out of her comfort zone, yet it felt oddly liberating.
"Alright, moment of truth," she said, slipping on the dress they'd picked out earlier.
The silk clung to her curves, the high slit offering tantalizing glimpses of the suspenders underneath. Emily twirled, admiring the effect.
"Holy shit," Sophia breathed. "You look incredible."
Emily grinned, a newfound confidence surging through her. "You know what? I think I'll take it all."
As they headed to the register, Emily's phone buzzed. Another text from Lucas. She bit her lip, imagining his reaction when he saw her in this outfit.
"Second thoughts?" Sophia asked, noticing her hesitation.
Emily shook her head, squaring her shoulders. "Not a chance. I'm done playing it safe."
She handed over her credit card, embracing the rush of adrenaline. This was a new chapter, and she was ready to dive in headfirst.
Emily's fingers trembled slightly as she snapped a photo of her shopping, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and nervousness. The pink Victoria's Secret bag sat innocently on her bed, a tantalizing promise of what lay inside.
She hesitated for a moment before typing out the message:
Baby Girl: Got a surprise for you, daddy ?
Her thumb hovered over the send button.
"Fuck it," she muttered, hitting send before she could overthink it.
As soon as the message whooshed off, a wave of conflicting emotions washed over her. Part of her thrilled at this new, daring side of herself. Another part wondered what the hell she was doing.
Her phone pinged with Lucas' reply:
Daddy: Can't wait to unwrap it, baby girl.
Heat bloomed in her cheeks. She flopped back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. "What are you doing, Emily?" she whispered to herself.
But she knew exactly what she was doing. She was embracing this spark of excitement, this rush of desire that made her feel more alive than she had in months. Maybe it was reckless. Maybe it was too soon after Ryan.
Maybe she didn't give a damn.
She sat up, eyeing the bag again. A smirk tugged at her lips as she imagined Lucas' reaction when he saw what was inside.
"In for a penny, in for a pound," she murmured, reaching for her phone again. She snapped another quick photo, this time with just a hint of green lace peeking out of the bag.
Baby Girl: Sneak preview
She hit send before she could second-guess herself.
Lucas' response was almost immediate:
Daddy: Fuck, baby girl. You're killing me.
Emily grinned, a thrill of power coursing through her. She'd never felt so desired, so in control. It was intoxicating.
Baby Girl: Good, that's the idea, daddy.
Emily's phone buzzed insistently. She glanced down, heart racing as she saw Lucas' name pop up.
Daddy: Can't wait to unwrap my surprise, baby girl. What are you hiding in that little pink bag?
Emily bit her lip, feeling a rush of heat. She typed back quickly:
Baby Girl: Wouldn't you like to know, Daddy? ;) You'll have to wait and see...
Daddy: Mmm, I love a good tease. But you know Daddy doesn't like to be kept waiting.
Emily squirmed in her seat, pulse quickening. She could almost hear his low, gravelly voice.
Daddy: When I get my hands on you, I'm going to slowly peel off every scrap of lace. Run my hands all over that gorgeous body of yours.
"Fuck," Emily whispered, glancing around furtively though she was alone. Her skin tingled with anticipation.
Baby Girl: Promise?
Daddy: Oh sweetheart, that's just the beginning. I'm going to worship every inch of you with my mouth. Make you beg for more.
Emily inhaled sharply. Images flashed through her mind - Lucas' strong hands gripping her hips, his lips trailing fire across her skin. She shifted restlessly, heat pooling low in her belly.
Baby Girl: God, Lucas... You're driving me crazy here.
Daddy: Good. Because by the time I'm done with you, you won't be able to think straight. I'm going to have you writhing underneath me, screaming my name.
Emily's breath caught. She pressed her thighs together, desperately seeking some relief from the ache building between them.
Baby Girl: Fuck, Daddy. Please...
Daddy: Please what, baby girl? Tell Daddy what you need.
Emily hesitated, fingers hovering over the keys. Her cheeks flushed as she typed:
Baby Girl: I need you. Now.
There was a long pause before Lucas' reply came through:
Daddy: Soon, sweetheart. Be a good girl and wait for Daddy. I promise it'll be worth it.
Emily groaned, flopping back dramatically on her bed. The wait was going to kill her. But oh, what a way to go.
Baby Girl: But daddy, your baby girl isn't very good at waiting...
She hit send before she could second-guess herself, a thrill running through her at her own boldness. Damn, where was this side of her coming from? She'd never been so forward before. Then again, she'd never met anyone quite like Lucas either.
Her phone buzzed almost immediately with his reply:
Daddy: Is that so? Guess I'll have to teach you some patience then, baby girl.
Emily's breath caught. The heat in his words was palpable even through text. She bit her lip, debating how to respond. Part of her wanted to keep pushing, to see just how far she could take this little game. But another part - the sensible Emily who always played it safe - was starting to freak out a bit.
What the hell am I doing? she thought. This isn't me. I don't do this kind of thing.
But even as the doubts crept in, she couldn't deny the excitement coursing through her veins. For once in her life, she was letting go. Living in the moment. And it felt fucking amazing.
Baby Girl: Maybe I don't want to be patient
Baby Girl: Maybe I just want you.
There. She'd said it. No taking it back now.
Emily's breath caught as she read Lucas' latest text:
Daddy: Have you ever been spanked, baby girl? Because if you're not good, I'll have to spank you.
A shiver ran through her body, heat pooling low in her belly. She bit her lip, fingers hovering over the phone screen. Part of her wanted to be good, to please him. But another part...
Baby Girl: Maybe I want to be bad, Daddy
Daddy: Careful what you wish for, baby girl. I won't go easy on you.
Emily squeezed her thighs together, imagining his large hands coming down on her ass. Would it sting? Leave marks? The thought made her squirm.
Baby Girl: Promise?
She could almost hear his low chuckle as she read his reply.
Daddy: Oh sweetheart, you have no idea what you're in for. But you'll find out soon enough.
Emily exhaled shakily. What was she getting herself into? This was so far outside her comfort zone. And yet she craved more, wanted to see just how far he'd push her.
Baby Girl: Can't wait, Daddy.
