Chapter 109

Aiden

I knew I looked like a bum. Everyone was saying it. Maybe if someone had not driven my whole family out, then I would not be looking like a homeless person. However, for now I was.

I was not a drinker but I seemed like I spent most of my time here at the bar.

Pack affaires stopped bothering me when no one could find where my wife ran off. Where ever she ran off to it was clear she didn't want to be found. This made me more frustrated.

I told her to trust me! she chose to ran away instead of trusting me. now I had to find her with no clue or what so ever to lead me to her.

She even took the pups with her, how could she do that to them. They also needed a father.

It was all Clears fault that this was happening to me. I should have known not to trust her with her cunning games.

I grab the bottle of beer that I have been nursing since two hours ago and squeeze. In my head there is an image of Claire's head in my hands as I squeeze more and more to the point where the bottle shatters in my hands.

I look over to the girl attending the bar, "Oops, I made a mess" I get up from the bar stool and shake off my hands trying to shake off the dark liquid not coating my fingers. "Excuse me gents" I say to no one in particular but a few acknowledge it.

The breeze outside is cool and calming very different from my raging heart. I could feel the organ pump molten lava into my veins as I felt more and more helpless.

Helplessness was not it for a man of power like me. If I could not get it then I'd used money to it was that simple. Not this time around. Every private detective I found to look for her and the pups came up blank. How depressing was it going to get for me?

Slowly a thought comes to mind as I walk to no place in particular. With that thought in mind I change directions heading to the place that has been home to me for the past three weeks.

Since she left all her stuff, naturally I thought she was going to come back and find me waiting with her insult of a signature on those divorce papers. Sadly she didn't appear, I thought to wait longer that maybe she went to a friend's for some time and that she was going to be back.

It took me a week to realize that she was not coming back. She had decided to really leave me. not on my watch, like hell was I going to let her take away my pups and leave me like that. No one was leaving anyone as far as I was concerned.

The house was small but comfortable, it needed a new lock since I broke the one that was already there. I had to come in.

Looking around the dimly lit house, I remember the agony that I went through when I got here.

It was just like any other normal day, I was coming from pack affaires stroking one in the woods as I went home. You might think that it was ridiculous but it saved my life.

Did you know how hard it was not to stand to the occasion when you were lust filled for a woman you couldn't see but there is another willing in the picture? It was certainly hard to the point where the brain played tricks on you and convinced you that the person in front of you was indeed the person you were lusting for.

By the end of the act you will realize that the person wasn't them and you will have to live with that weighing down your chest. I wasn't up for it.

I look around and then start packing up everything that belongs to Bella or the pups. It wasn't right that I let the she devil to drive me out of my own house. It wasn't right that I let her drive out my wife in the first place.

If it wasn't me who was going to end up strangling her then I was going to sure that it was someone else. I should have killed her when I had the chance to in the name of uncontrollable anger. Right now I couldn't use that card because of her very brother.

It had spread all over the pack that I was magically cured from the confusing anger but this time I killed without the anger. They became more scared of me hence my decision to stay away from violence. Because if I was to choose violence today, then the people were right to be afraid of me.

When I am done gathering up clothes and toys and accessories, I make my way back to the house I haven't seen in weeks. I wasn't in the mood to play talk the most so my intentions there shouldn't take time.

Finally at the house, I enter the house and it sounds silent except for muffled sound that were coming from the bedroom. What could she possibly be doing that would make her talk to herself? I ask myself puzzled.

I look around remembering all too well when I got those papers. The woman who started to come in because Claire was lazy had received it from a woman who looked like she had twins, she had said. It must have been Bella.

I thought like it was just something unrelated to what I found inside. I was shocked to see that she had sent over divorce papers that she already signed. How could she do that without my consent, I was left wondering till I found out that it was Claire who did it not more than a week ago.
