Chapter 91 For f*cks sake, marry this lioness soon
91\. For fcks sake, marry this lioness soon
"Aurora?" As the shutters of her eyes rolled up, bringing the world to view, Aura saw a face she was barely anticipating to see.
Ginny was here in Damien's bedroom. She was in a nightgown, clearly indicating that she was collected at night by the alpha.
"Ginny, what are you doing here?" Aura pulled herself off the bed and sat straight.
She didn't have to be told that she lost her consciousness. The presence of Damien's doctor beside Madam Martha and Brian spoke the fact. She wandered her eyes about the room and discovered him standing in the farther corner with a face that was anything but joyful as his hands remained tightly folded before his chest.
She can see through his disappointment, and worry obviously. He was also mad at her.
"Damien gathered me." Ginny said, Aura eyes instantly settled on her face.
She was in tears and a surprisingly glowy grin on her mouth. She took Aurora's hands and squeezed them in gratification.
"I didn't think you would ever do that but I am glad, Aurora. Thank you so much." She excitedly chirped in a heavy voice and took Aura in a hug.
She was careful with the pressure her arms exerted on her body. Keeping the fact in mind that she fainted due to stress, Ginny twisted her trembling lips and gave her surprise stricken face a forever grateful stare.
Aura was in shock. She was attempting to grasp the unfolding event. She had an argument with her alpha boyfriend over sending Ginny out to somewhere he thought she actually belonged before she passed out. When her eyes opened, the concerned woman was the first she noticed with a big smile on her face while her Alpha boyfriend seemed unhappy. She was trying to interpret all of it when Ginny took her hands and kissed them.
"I accepted all the mistakes I have made and agreed to all the crimes I have committed. On the basis of which I was being sent out of the pack but you saved my life, Aurora. I don't deserve this from you." She quivered.
This was not the arrogant Ginny Aura would welcome in the mansion months back. Her tears depicted her repentance and how much happy she was for the favor she has done for her.
"D-does that mean she's not leaving here tomorrow?" her eyebrows escalated amusingly as Aura gawked at Damien's frame in the corner.
He was in a disapproving mode. His golden eyes smoldered angrily as they met hers. Very gently he walked towards the bed and stretched out an envelope to Aurora.
"What's this?" His steeled expression didn't falter even as she took the white folder from him.
While she opened it, he gave her a small gaze before announcing it aloud, "She stays in the pack with all her dignity. Every charge of treachery will be annulled and she can resume her career again."
The envelope held a letter saying exactly the same thing in a lawful manner. He was allowing Ginny to stay. He was giving her another chance. He was calling off his order for Aurora.
Aura's heart surged merrily. She removed the sheets and got onto her feet. As she crossed the bed and stood before him, Damien scowled and soared towards the door.
They saw him leave like a storm, leaving ominous silence behind. Aura nibbled her lips nervously. He was angry with her. But she was happy for Ginny. She turned to her and smiled her brightest even though blood had accumulated in her cheeks with a deadly look enlarging her sockets.
Aura took her hands. She returned her assuring squeeze of hand. Ginny didn't do anything wrong. She didn't have to consider herself at fault only because Damien was fuming right now. She didn't do anything.
"Nobody should leave their birthplace for any mistake." Beamed Aura.
"But he is not pleased with it. You didn't have to do it, Aurora. Damien hates me. Now he will be infuriated with you because of me." She prisoned a sob in her mouth as she lowered her wet lashes.
The others present in the room watched the woman quietly. If one was smiling in pure joy the other one was weeping. Ginny was bemoaning her mistakes. They can't help but smile because they can see the beginning of a new friendship between two women who didn't sit well in each other's world.
Madam Martha wasn't hissing any more. She was rather proud of Aurora whereas Brian who drove Ginny in his car till here watched pleasantly. Two beauties were in one frame.
"I get it you were involved in the miseries of that night but I also know you confessed it in front of Damien as soon as you learned about my pregnancy. I see you had no intention of harming my unborn child. That fact was enough to persuade Damien to withdraw his directives."
"But still, you didn't—"
"I did it for myself, Ginny. For my satisfaction. You and I didn't sit well in the past yet I don't see any reason why you should leave the pack and go elsewhere." Aura's extraordinarily innocent eyes glowed and blazed in truthfulness.
Her honesty expelled a sob out of Ginny's heavy chest. She covered her face in shame. There were no second thoughts about her serene selfless nature. Ginny suspected and grew envious of a pure soul who never wished anything bad for her.
Even today she helped stop her departure. She came to her aid when she didn't expect any one else to come for her. The wellwishers refused to lend a helping hand. The ones who claimed to give her a hand when she fell had all disappeared. She never imagined that the woman she had seen as an untidy, untouchable greedy housekeeper would shine as a bright moon in her dark gloomy life and pull her out from falling deeper into darkness.
Ginny felt so cowardly and disgusted inside that she collapsed to the floor at Aurora's feet. She regretted judging a pure soul like Aurora.
"Hey, Ginny," Her tears saw no bound as they leaked like a silver unstoppable trail.
She couldn't lift her embarrassed head. Her despaired shoulders shrunk together as she reached her hands out to hold Aura's feet.
"What are you doing, Ginny! I swear I didn't do anything to make you feel ashamed." Her own voice shook with emotions.
"You can't imagine what you've done for me, Aurora. You've protected me from something I was dreading to happen to me once I got out of town." Terror laced voice whispered across Aura's shoulder, she pulled Ginny in her arms and patted her back.
She perceived the meaning behind her words and crushed her hard in her arms. Women are never safe alone, are they? Sexual, mental, physical and every other sort of assault awaits them as soon as they leave their place of comfort. Be it a cunning woman or an innocent one, every one has to face it irrespective of their nature or status.
"Cry not, dear." Unable to be a mute spectator, Madam Martha engulfed them both in her embrace.
"I am sorry for the insults and bad words, Miss Martha. Please forgive me." Ginny apologetically sobbed. "You too, Brian. I have cursed you a lot."
"Not a problem, Babe. I never took it personally." Brian side hugged Ginny once she was pulled up on her feet by the old lady.
She then wiped her face with her hands as if Ginny was her five year old daughter, who had returned home with bruised knees.
"There was a point when I truly loathed your sight, dear. We both are even." She hushed consoling words in her ears, calling her as one of the two daughters.
"Well, I don't know if I should ask but would it be too much if I called you Ma like Aurora, Miss Martha?" Ginny chewed her lips.
She received a peck on her forehead before a cute smile by the old lady as she nodded aggressively.
"I have wanted two daughters. I am happy to have them now."
Alpha Damien who had been overhearing them from outside the room snuck in like an invading roll of breeze. He admiringly saw his mate grin at an unpredictable reunion.
There was a glimmer of glory in his molten gaze, depicting how much happy he was. His mate saved him from committing a mistake he would have regretted.
As he noticed Aurora noticing him, he controlled his smile. While rolling his eyes, he coughed, "Now if you guys are done with your drama, mind moving out of my room."
"It wouldn't hurt your butt if you joined in the scene." Brian rolled his eyes.
Alpha Damien grabbed his collar. He playfully plunged him out of his room. The doctor left obediently after shaking hands with him given that there was no use of him in the scene at all. As for the women, they were waiting for his expression. Something. Anything that would show he was not exactly angry at them as he appeared to be in the start.
"The only reason why I was sending you away is that you attempted to harm her. No other reasons. But if she wants to forget the past and make you stay then I am no one to object." He walked closer.
Ginny distanced herself from the old Housekeeper and let Damien take her hand in a friendly grasp.
"My child will be happy to have an aunt besides an uncle," Brian waved from the doorstep. "I do hope you won't hurt my feelings this time, Ginny. I am looking forward to starting a new phase of my life. Pain or distress is the last thing I want to be included in."
Ginny snaked his neck into a hug, "I am sorry for everything, Damien. I was blinded by lust and power. But I give you my words that there will be no misunderstandings or problems on my part. You have given me another chance and trusted me with the life of your child, I will love him as my own."
"That's good to hear." Damien patted her back before stepping away. "Now head back home. Brian will drop you off. Also, don't forget you have to pick up all the fallen pieces of your modeling career in the industry again."
This reminded her of his greatness. Alpha Damien hired her as an ambassador for one of his popular brands to rebuild her career. He had made sure her name was stained and used as a bad example for others in the modeling. Now that he was giving her another chance, he was also determined to help her gain back what she lost.
"Good night, Damien. Night, Aurora."
"Bye," He softly whispered while his mate waved at her.
They shared a smile after which Ginny left the room with Madam Martha. The door was shut and the lights were switched off. Damien and Aurora slipped into the bed on their respective sides.
Even though they stole glances of each other, they didn't take a move towards one another. Damien wanted her to say sorry for stressing him out with her health. On the other hand, Aurora expected a sincere apology. He didn't see her insistence worthy enough to pay heed to it. She wanted more than just an apology.
Nothing seemed to come, and when they both could not endure the painful silence they rose on their elbows and screamed at each other in unison, "Why don't you talk to me?"
They laughed together. Damien's hands found her waist as their foreheads combined out of their close proximity. She desperately pulled him by his hair and latched their lips.
"Did anyone ever tell you how stubborn you are?" He kissed her neck.
"No, but did anyone ever tell you how annoying you are and that I am afraid my baby will become like you?" She pushed his shirt upwards his waist and out of his hands, peeling it off his torso.
They got on their knees sharing a passionate kiss. Damien freed her of all her clothes. He devoted her skin with undying attention. He was losing himself in the soft stroke of her fingers on his scalp until Aurora abruptly stopped. She pulled his head away by the hair, making him groan at the unwanted detachment of their lips.
However, just as he gazed into her passion clouded eyes, he stilled.
"I want you to do me passionately, Damien Hunter. I hate it when you are gentle. Love me unconditionally like you usually do. No soft thrusts... Give it wild to me!" His thickness stood against his stomach over her statement.
Damien hungrily caught her mouth with his. He placed her on the bed and parted her thighs to fulfill her demand. As the head of his rock-hard length shoot inside her, his turned on wolf growled in his head,
'Fucking hell, marking her is not enough. Claim this lioness across moon goddess too, Damien. For fucks sake, marry her soon.'
