Chapter 64 Please be safe Aura

Chapter 64 Please be safe Aura
64\. Please be safe Aura

His agonized expressions stiffened. Alpha Damien attempted to shift away and out of her hold. He was controlling his rage. Honestly. Everyone, who ever meant to separate him from Aurora, seemed like an enemy and no doubt Ginny was one of them.

"Forgive me, Damien, I swear had no idea regarding her pregnancy. I… I was… I was stupid to help Peter. Pl-planned it with him actually." She said, Her words echoed since the Manor was completely empty.

The Manor he assumed as a home was empty without her. Aura also took away with herself the feeling of being home. Homeliness was far away from this Manor at this juncture.

"Please don't hate me. I.. I was just thinking about myself. I wanted you Damien. I thought she was trying to snatch you away from me and take my place in your heart. She made me insecure as you would give her all your time and attention even though she was a mere Housekeeper." Ginny's cold finger pressed down in the fabric of his shirt.

All this while Alpha Damien remained quiet. There was no flicker of emotion on his facade or in his melting eyes. He just sat there like a statuesque and watched her with a still gaze that was affixed on her thick teardrops.

There were no two opinions that she was not involved in whatever that transpired today! Because it was as clear as an azure sky. That pallid texture of her cheeks and the trembles of her fingers said that she had a hundred percent involvement.

Ginny swallowed a lump and resumed, "I thought she was tricking you into her bed and alluring you with her body. I didn't want to lose the title of your love-life in the eyes of the media, Damien, a-and went off limits to bring you back to myself." She shifted on the edge of the couch.

Her eyes caught the sight of the handmade card in his hand. Since it was open she also read whatever was written in it. Her heart tore as she read those words in her brain. She consciously thought about Aurora's baby and sobbed.

"Jealousy got the best of me and I agreed to Peter's plan of parting you two. We've been… we've been planning to create misunderstandings between you and Aurora since that party night so that we could divide you two and get you in our respective beds. Peter and I started off with manipulating Aurora but she was too hard to truck, Damien.

When it didn't work on her, we set our focus on you. We were definite that if we proved she was seeing other men beside you then you would throw her away. S-so we clicked many pictures of Aurora and edited them with several guys." His lashes fell across his melting eyes and he clenched his fists.

A small grunt erupted from his mouth that caused her heart to flutter in dread. She can see he was suppressing his anger. But she was here to accept her mistakes and get out of his black list.

As good as he looked physically, he was internally tarnished and cruel. His smiles were tricky and the black rust his heart was covered with was his true self. Alpha Damien was like an illusion. He looked something else whereas he was something else from within.

The thought of his dark side alone knocked breaths out of Ginny's lungs! She observed his tightly set face as he watched her confess. She can see consequences awaiting her after her confession. Yet, she couldn't care less at this moment. She blurted out whatever she had known.

"I kn-knew pictures with other men won't be e-enough to deceive you so I suggested capturing Aurora with Rosario and Oscar, the guys who linger around her on your orders. W-we also clicked some pictures of Peter with a woman wearing a m-mask resembling Aurora's face to make it obvious t-that she ch-cheated on you with him. We thought you would st-stand her wrong since Peter is notorious for stealing others' women, and you will throw her out of your life." She wiped her tears.

Her story finished. She had nothing else to say except what she truly felt. "I swear I had no idea of her pregnancy. In fact, Peter and I… I were planning on presenting wrong pregnancy reports of her to you a—"

"But she's fcking genuinely pregnant with my baby!!" He screamed from deep in his chest as his hand grabbed the table before them by the edge and sent it in the air, aggressively.

Glass shattered with deafening noise. It sounded even gruesome because the environment has suddenly become still as if there was no evidence of life except for them. Not even the noise of gusting winds was audible.

Pieces of glass scattered here and there, slipping as far away as possible. Madam Martha and some other employees from the housekeeping staff rushed towards the source of the noise and froze in their positions when they saw a growling alpha towering madly at Ginny.

She was curled into the corner of the couch while he leaned forward. His hands straddled her in her place. Alpha Damien scraped his clawed hands around her, eroding out big chunks of cloth along with sponge and springs from the furniture.

"She was fcking pregnant with my baby and I kicked her out." Ginny felt bereft and desolated as he snarled across her mouth. "I challenged her loyalty and removed her from this Manor. I threw her out on a rainy night without even thinking where she would go. I didn't even think about her once just because those fcking photos fucked up my brain."

The surrounding seemed to jerk and toss as the lantern-like his eyes burned her down in dread. He was super mad and it was only a miracle he didn't snap her head out yet.

She tried to draw a breath inward and failed, given that he caught her by the back of her neck and lifted her a few inches in the air, away from the surface of the couch.

"I doubted her dignity and called her names just because those photos seemed more genuine to me. She even tried to explain it to me but I insulted her for I thought she was making up stories." Her existence seemed wasted against his granite stance.

Damien growled down at her. She forgot she was even alive when she saw his dirty big canines growing out of his mouth. Ginny covered her face as she could not withstand the sight of them. Sight of her death! Those fangs were no less than pointed spears.

Her heart swept in apprehension when Damien stretched her hands away, compelling her to stare at the molten lava balled in the center of his whites.

"I trusted those photos over her. Those bloody photos!" Alpha Damien shrieked and before anyone around them predicted what he was going to do, he cast her in the air, before she collapsed somewhere amidst the scattered mess of glasses.

Ginny choked a cry, frightened, and electrified at the pain that seared through her. Glass pieces pierced her bare long legs and palms as she fell on her left side.

Everyone that came out of the protection of their shells aka their chambers dauntingly spectated her fall with striking terror. They didn't dare to come ahead and help Ginny when blood spread around her, gushing through the cuts she incurred on her bare flesh.

They quietly froze in their spot with breaths stuck in their chests until Alpha Damien cried, "I will bury each one of you whoever is involved in this scheme if anything happens to her or my baby." They trembled in pure horror.

Then he took a step towards Ginny, causing her to flinch away while crying, and addressed her in a grievous tone, "I, Alpha Damien Hunter, will dig your graves with my own hands and fill it with all sort of poisonous creatures before I bury you alive into it if I don't find her and my baby safe tonight." He gave her cowering figure a pointed look and dashed out, leaving Madam Martha to gawk at him in perturbation.

"I am stupid… a bloody fcling stupid idiot. I deserve hell for not trusting the mother of my child." Damien hurriedly got into the car that was prepared for Aurora and started the engine. He didn't even care to put on his seat belt and took off recklessly.

"I… I doubted her, my pure holy Aura, who cared for me serenely." His voice was rough with anxiety.

Crazily, maniacally with all his senses disturbed, he desperately watched out of the car at one eighty degree, looking for her. He was searching for her like a Hunter for an animal that got out of his sight in the blink of an eye.

"What would I do without her if she goes far away from me?" Damien sobbed between his respiration.

Not even for a second did he take his eyes off of the road or stopped his car. However, it was indeed difficult to find her. The night sky was stretched overhead to infinity with no trace of stars enlightening his way. Only the rekindling streetlights at interval distance kept his path irradiated besides his headlights.

He couldn't guess where she could possibly go at this time. Airport, bus stand or station? There were so many places yet no time or patience to look for her with a cool head. His heart was set ablaze in the fire of agony and regret. His head was hot with indignation for not trusting her.

He was alone with a brain that was all over the place and a restless heart that was not helping. Alpha Damien knew he couldn't find her alone. So he quickly emptied his head and concentrated on connecting with his beta, Brian, over their mind link.

"Brian, can you hear me? Brian, revert immediately." He desperately spoke.

"Yes, Damien?" Brian's reply relieved him.

Alpha Damien smiled in hope. He increased the speed of his car as he peered on both the sides of the street while framing sentences he was supposed to deliver.

"Brian, I screwed up. I need your help. I…" He gulped. "I misunderstood Aura but it was Peter and Ginny's plan."

"And?" Brian sounded full of despair and composure.

"I… I kicked out of the house only to realize she's innocent."

"What? I hope this is not a joke?"

"You think I am in any condition to joke? I… I fcking serious." He screamed.

"Was it because of that why you commanded me to kill Oscar?" Alpha Damien's eyes flickered with tears.

He bit his tongue brutally until it hurt badly. "You didn't kill him, did you?"

"Definitely not. Oscar had been the most loyal employee in the mansion, I could not even make it obvious to him that you delivered his death sentence. He is safe."

"I had gone insane." He confessed.

"Will you tell me what exactly happened?" Brian urged on the other side of the link.

Alpha Damien narrated the entire story. From the photos to his heated argument with Madam Martha. He poured his heart to his beta in one go.

Damien took a small breath before he prepared to finally tell him about the biggest shock, "... and she's pregnant."

"Wait, what? You mean Aurora is pregnant?"

"Yes, she is pregnant with my baby. She has since that party night weeks ago."

Brian was shocked. He quietened making only his tranquility obvious. He never expected Damien to blame and fire Aurora let alone blow his mind with the news of her pregnancy.

According to him Damien was madly, insanely, crazily and strangely in love with this woman. Then how could he throw her out of the house? It was literally unbelievable.

"I just want to kick your egoistic ass right now, Damien Hunter. You are an idiot. How could you even doubt Aurora? She's the purest and the modest woman I have ever known." Alpha Damien quietly listened to his best friend cum beta's angered remarks. "If anything happens to her and the baby I swear I will kill you with my own hands."

Brian did not say anything for several seconds to put his thoughts away and later on assured Damien, "I will deal with you later on, Hunter, I want to go find her first. I'll keep you updated if I get any news."

"Th-thanks, Brian, what would I ever do without you?"

"You'll die without me, idiot." Brian barked.

They broke their mind link as Brian went to contact his sources. He provided all his men with Aura's photo and her other information regarding her attire she was last seen wearing tonight.

Damien's worry was shared by his beta and other men. They divided the task equally and sped up the hunt. They went to the airport, bus stand and railway stations in groups. While showing her photo to the people they tried to inquire about Aura.

"We are unable to find her, Damien. The CCTV footage didn't help either. We can't see her anywhere after she strode out of the surveillance region around your Manor… like a fog." Brian reported on the mind link.

Even after two hours of frantic search his men were not able to find her. They cannot find her in any of the places.

"But don't worry, we are still searching. I have sent some of our men to inquire in the hotels and other places I predict she could go." He quickly insured Damien before going away.

Unfortunately, his heart shattered in smaller pieces than before. Damien mentally cursed himself.... His idiocy. How could he commit such a blunder?

Not even for once did he think about her. She wasn't that type of woman who would throw herself in any man's bed. Aurora Collins was different. She was not a Virgin because she could not find the right guy but because she was waiting to give it to him. Waiting for him to be her time, and the last time as well. But his corrupted mind and rusted thoughts overpowered the love in his heart he was proud of.

"Please be safe, Aura. Please be safe." Aura had never allowed any man to touch her, he was ugly from the inside that he accused her purity.

The very thought grazed his shattered heart with more and more grief. He stifled on a sob as he shoved all the irrelevant thoughts far away from his mind and focused on the sides of the road. He would not lose her. He would never ever lose his love and their baby.
