Chapter 13: Alpha Daniel

Allison’s pov

I was trashing around from the pain in my stomach, you think that I would have been used to it by now, going on two weeks of pain, but no, that churning ache always seemed to have new ways to surprise me, making me want to beg for mercy every second I was feeling it.

I rose to a sitting position, my whimpers made me realize I wasn’t left in the room and was in the clearing with Daniel.

A very naked Daniel!

I blushed immediately when our eyes met, his swirling with black mixing with the soft green underneath, and his jaw was tense like he was always on edge.

I followed his strong neck, the chiseled chest, and the six-pack that draped his marbled body before leaning into a sharp V at his hips just above his….oh. My. Goddess.

I must have looked shocked, scared, and hungry at the same time looking at that big hard dick that he didn’t even try to bother as it was just waiting to get inside me, fill me up, and make me beg for a release that I desperately needed!

The pain was still there, but now I felt something different too, a throbbing heat that was making my body shudder and the shameful pulses I was getting started right between my thighs.

I clenched them hard without even realizing it and let out a small moan making his eyes go completely black, his beast fighting for control to get over here and fuck me.

I didn’t know if I even had it in me to resist him if I tried; a considerable part of my body wanted him, and my heart was beating like a jackhammer in anticipation when he got up, standing in his full glory, dick and all, just waiting for him to come and finally mate me.

“Get up, we got company soon, and I don’t want anyone other than me seeing your naked body.” His voice was hoarse and strained, and I collapsed entirely back at my hands. I was naked, but for some reason, I didn’t care, he was my mate, and I felt comfortable being naked around him, even if we barely knew each other.

“Why? I’m not ashamed.” I was feeling rebellious and cockier than ever, I was so sick of Alphas telling me what to do, and I still haven’t forgiven him for leaving me at the Omega Quarters to root taking another mate!

He was clenching his jaws harder now, and I thought he was about to crack open from the anger that pulsated off him, rippling along his sculpted body.

“Because I fucking said so, and that’s that!!!” his beastly tone that was more grunt than his own seeping into his voice that was booming all over the small clearing we spent the night in.

I frowned at his outburst, he was almost panting from the furious emotions that were pricking me, but he felt lust too. Oh, he wanted me so bad, and here I was, served on a silver platter right before him, stark-naked.

I smirked when I parted my thighs, my own beast pushing me on, but I couldn’t blame her for everything, he was fucking hot, and he was my male. I didn’t even try to pretend the power that he had over me, even if I hated him to my core.

“No.” one word was all he had to say when his eyes stared at me with more hunger than I’ve ever seen a man do. He wasn’t even looking at my throbbing sex, just piercing my eyes like he was trying to figure out if I was serious. He didn’t trust me either, I scoffed. Good!

I snapped my thighs together, offended, and honestly, I was hurt by his rejection. He didn’t have to say no like that like I was some cheap slut that he didn’t want to get an STD from!

“Didn’t say fucking no to that whore Sabrina that’s for sure….” I muttered the words when I rose to my feet, aware that he heard every syllable from my strained mouth filled with bitterness.

I just sighted like he didn’t even have the strength to argue with me about her and shifted without waiting on me.

His big brown beast towered over me even more than his human frame, making it almost seem he was a mountain in comparison to me.

He didn’t say anything, just huffed un-patiently and scraped with his big paws in the dirt, leaving marks after the huge claws that had killed the son of Alpha Rick yesterday.

See, that was it, I knew he killed that guy, and I should feel awful for it, but I didn’t.

I didn’t care if Daniel had torn his throat out, he had it coming, and I wasn’t planning on sticking around anyway when we got back.

I meant what I said before. I was done with Alphas.

I sighed and shifted when he growled at me as if I would obey. I would do it for the time being, but only because I knew that I needed him to trust me enough to get me space to leave him. This time I was going to make a better escape, not get caught by some stupid pack.

My silver wolf was walking up to him, not even trying to stop, she was caressing her mate, and I rolled my eyes at her behavior as she purred like a damn cat. He didn’t want us and just rejected us from getting mated two minutes ago. I was snarling at her foolish behavior when I stared, shocked at the fact that the big wolf nuzzled her back, almost cooing at her with his snout and licking her ear.

Great, so it wasn’t my beast that he was rejecting, just me.

Fantastic.

“Traitor…” I mumbled the words in my head when the two beasts were still purring and stroking back and forward like lovesick puppies. My wolf was a hussy, that’s for sure.

“Allison…I’m sorry.” I heard his voice in my head, and I ignored him. I didn’t even know what he was apologizing for or if it didn’t even matter anymore. I just wanted out.

“Yeah, you should be.” That was my only response as I backed up and turned my body away from him, but not before catching the sadness piercing the black beast's eyes staring at me.

A heavy feeling was hammering me repeatedly, a darkness that felt like I could barely breathe when he started to walk. I turned my head, curious about what he was feeling. Was it regretful? Sadness? Anger? I tried to shake the heavy feelings away, but they stayed with me when I followed him trotting our way through the dense forest surrounding us.

“Okay, just stop it! I can’t take it anymore. Whatever you’re feeling right now, get a fucking hold of yourself because I can’t take it anymore!” I barked at him with my wolf while simultaneously shouting at him via the mind link.

He stopped and turned around only with his head, that big wolf head that seemed surprised for a few seconds before a grim smile curled up on his face in my mind making me even more snappy against him.

“That’s not me, sweetheart. That’s the lives of 22 souls that were snuffed out from our pack yesterday, you’re feeling.” I gasped at his grisly response.

22 souls.

22 beasts.

Oh, Goddess...

“Why?” I wanted to ask more, I really did, but that was the only word that could leave my mind when he shrugged and turned around again, not wanting to talk about this either.

“You are my mate, my Luna, no matter what you think about it, you have my mark, and that makes you feel just as much as I do when something happens to the pack.”

He was already picking up the pace when I just lowered my head in response.

Shit, I haven’t even thought about that. He was right; it didn’t matter what I felt or thought. I still was the Luna by the bond.

“Daniel, please…. I can’t… I can’t be the Luna of your pack….” I was still trying not to get chorused by the heavy feeling weighing me down like I couldn’t even take one more step, but I pushed through, not wanting to show him exactly how weak I was.

He didn’t answer when I had run up beside him, and we were just panting lightly, our fur brushing sometimes giving me slight tingles down my body, and I shivered whether I liked it or not.

“Sorry baby, it seems you have no choice.” I was about to snap back when he came to a halt, and I almost crashed into him, earning a slight smirk in my head that I was already making a fool of myself, asshole.

A was standing beside him when a small pack of wolfs emerged from the other side of the forest. They seemed to be waiting on us as we didn’t make any indication to move, which was odd.

“They are coming to us, not the other way around, sweetheart.” I glared at him for a few seconds, and those condescending nicknames were really wearing my patience thin.

“Alpha Daniel, Luna Allison.” The unknown wolf had come closer, standing right in front of us, bowing their heads in respect. I wanted to laugh but kept quiet at Daniel's growl meant for me, but still mad, the guards go uneasy of his displeasure.

He didn’t even answer them, just started to move as the guards seemed to be standing by, waiting for him to take the lead. I followed without knowing what to do, and the rest of the entourage followed behind us.

We passed the lake where I had to meet him for the first time in beast form and got sad. My emotions had been running on high since I saw him again yesterday.

Everything was confusing; whatever I said or decided was the wrong choice, the wrong horse to bet on.

“You know I would have made you Luna right away, Allie. I never denied you. Remember that.” His dark voice was accusing and tender at the same time. How the hell had he managed that, I got a lump in my throat immediately, so he was blaming me for all of this.

“Maybe if you hadn’t tried to kill me, I wouldn’t have run away.” I wasn’t going to get blamed for this. He was the one who was the bad guy of us, not me!

He stopped suddenly, making the entire entourage do the same, including me.

He didn’t say anything or even turn around this time. He just kept staring out into the void of the oncoming trees ahead of us.

“Daniel?” I was getting restless and to be honestly worried from the numb feeling creeping inside of me that I knew wasn’t my emotions; it was his.

He still didn’t answer when I finally took the courage, walked up the few steps he was sitting on, and placed myself beside his prominent figure.

The sun was higher, giving off the slightest shade of copper in his dark-brown fur; it was beautiful.

I was purring again, not knowing when it started and how I did it, but I seemed to work on him cause the numbness inside me was feeling lighter.

“I never meant to hurt you, never.” I was a bit surprised by the serenity of his dark voice in my head, making it almost impossible not to believe him.

I sighed and leaned him again, just enough to let him know that I was hearing him and that we needed to talk about it again when we were not at the border, surrounded by guards.

“Let’s just go back home,” I said double-layered; it was my home, but it wasn’t. I never fit in the pack, not as an Omega and certainly not a Luna.

“Yeah… home….” He had a happier tone now in his voice, like he was looking forward to returning. I wasn’t sure I felt the same way, but again, we had very different backgrounds and treatment from the same pack.

I got up before him this time and started walking ahead, earning a small laugh before he took off and started running. We ended up actually racing back the rest of the way. The warriors didn’t stand a chance and were left behind when we finally reached the town I had been living in since I was a child.

“Home sweet home….”

I said it out loud to myself with bitterness in my words; this was going to be interesting.
