Chapter 75

Kai's POV

I have been laying in this bed for two weeks now and I am about ready to murder both my mates or f*ck them in their sleep. I know they doctor said complete bed rest, but I don't think I can handle them not touching me. Both of them have been keeping their distance as if I might break or shatter into a million pieces. The only time I have been allowed to get up is when I have to go to the bathroom and that's only a 5 foot walk and I have to hold onto one of their arms in order to get out of bed. I've been able to walk for the last 2 days. I have been practicing when they think I'm asleep and they leave for work.

I was starting to get bed sores so I knew I needed to get up and do more. When they left I would get up and check on my plants or sit in the sun taking in some much needed Vitamin D. I made sure to take more care with my steps so I wouldn't fall and I would sit when I watered a plant usually with a small can for now. The first day I was winded by the short walk, but I was determined so I kept at it and here on day four I can now walk around the room without losing my breath.

As I knelt down to look at one of my rare plants that looked like its pH was off I took out a pH meter sticking it in the soil and waiting for the beep. I checked the leaves for bugs and smelt the dirt for any fungal disease, but didn't smell anything out of the ordinary. The beep came letting telling me it was a little acidic. So I moved to my work bench pulling out the ingredients I needed to mix in water for the plant. As I was working I didn't hear Nico come in as he wrapped his hands around me scaring the crap out of me. “OH MY GODDESS! You scared me! Don't do that. I'm trying to take care of one of my plants,” I said mixing everything in the water container. I went to move to the plant, but Nico's arms didn't move. “What?” I said forgetting about the fact that I wasn't supposed to be walking at all.

“While I don't mind that your in here the doc and Will are going to lecture you again. HE thinks you hate him right now because of all these restrictions,” Nico said kissing my cheek then letting me go. I walked to the plant and watered around the edge so the pot wouldn't become over saturated. “If Will doesn't get the stick out of his ass every time I want to get up, then I wouldn't seem or be mad at him,” I said watching the water sink in the pot. “I know I wasn't careful before, but I am doing better now. He doesn't need to cage me. I just need support in a none involved way so I can build both my body and mind.”

Checking my other plants while Nico watched was a nice change from being stuck in my bed. I might have it changed out from having to lay in it so long. “You need to tell him this instead of trying to get me to do it. He'll always be bossy, but its up to you to put your foot down when you need to do things yourself. I know this, but I was involved with my brothers. He doesn't really get involved with his siblings or extended family,” Nico said helping me to sit in my chair in the sunny area of the observatory. “I know he always had to do things himself and only delegated to people he felt he could trust. I just wish he would trust me better then he doesn't,” I said leaning back in my chair trying to think of how to approach Will about this.

I hadn't gotten to many pregnancy symptoms for which I was greatful for especially after my first office visit last week. Two moms to be were rushing to the bathroom every 2 minutes, I don't know if I could deal with that. I didn't have a bump yet, but my tummy was hard and I couldn't wear jeans anymore. As I was distracted with my thoughts I didn't hear Will come in as Nico left. My eyes being closed against the sun I didn't realize it was him until her reached for my hand. Opening my eyes he was kneeling down looking me over like he always did when he seen me now. “I thought you were going to stay in bed today? How come you came out here? Needed your plants for a bit?” he asked jokingly to me.

“Yeah, they help me to cope with my boredom a bit. And they don't pull away from me when I touch them or try to walk, “ I said hoping he'd take the hint. His face held a guilty look while he looked down at the floor knowing I was right. “I'm not rejecting you or trying to stay away. Well I am, but not for the reasons you think. Going two weeks without touching my mate is hard, and I know I am not the only one feeling this way either. I'm just trying to stay in control when I am around you so I don't do anything to harsh too fast,” He said rubbing circles into my palm.

Knowing what he means I reach to cup his cheek so that he looks at me, “There is more then one way to be close to your mate. And at no point do we need to take a fast pace. If you can keep your control I can make sure we both get the closeness we want,” I said leaning close the strap of my nightgown falling off my shoulder. “No, no the doc said no strenuous activity including sex. How are you going to keep your heart rate down when it goes up as you get ready to c*m? Explain that,” he said as he's sat up holding my hands away from him. Trying to think of a way I sigh getting up walking away to my bed my nightgown hitting the floor as I crawl up to my pillows.

I can hear him breathing hard as I turned around seeing him holding himself in the door frame of my observatory. His nostrils were flared as he took my scent in. I could hear him growling as I spread my legs rubbing my hands along my body reaching for my p*ssy slowly petting myself. “What are you doing woman? Do you really want to tempt fate here?” Will asked moving to the foot of my bed.

“Oh yes I want to blow it out of the water. So either sit in that chair and watch or come take care of me yourself, your choice,” I said petting my self more while pinching one of my n*pples lightly. “Oh don't say I didn't warn you.”
