Chapter 30: What A Night
**”The memories we make together will serve as footprints in the sand, leading us down a path we never imagined we would walk.”**
**Alexis**
I don't even remember getting to bed. Johnnie must have carried me from the limo to my room. I wake up and everything hurts. I overdid it, but it was worth it. I had so much fun and didn't hold anyone back. I also realize that I might be able to fit into Johnnie’s world. He and his guys aren't as different from me and my girls as I had thought. I stretch and immediately wish I hadn't. I whimper in pain, so Johnnie gets me my pills. He is the most compassionate man I have ever known. As I am sitting on the bed and Johnnie is lightly rubbing my back, after a light knock, my door opens. “Come in Cami, we are decent.”
I knew it was her based on the knock and how slowly she turned the doorknob. “Hey, sweetie. I have to leave for Vegas to meet the rep from Kismet. I will be gone for a few days, but I hope to be back by Valentine’s Day when we go to LA with our guys. Will you be okay until then?”
“Yeah, I'll be fine.”
Kim pushes herself into my room and flops onto my bed. “I have to head to work for a bit.
I'll be back later. Are you okay?” She looks at me with concern. I tell her that I am fine, but I can tell that she's skeptical. “Call if you need anything...anything at all. I mean it! James will be here too after he takes Dean to the airport. You better take it easy today.”
Dean pops his head in. “Party and no one invited me? How rude!” he pouts.
I laugh. “Hey, Dean. Since you are clothed, you may join.”
He chuckles. “Sweetness, they wouldn't stay on if I did. Unfortunately, I have to go. Thanks for the invite. I will see you girls, on Valentine's Day.”
I stand up and ease my way over. I wrap my arms around Dean. “It was so nice to meet you.” I giggle because I thought that I won the contest to get Valentine's Day with Johnnie but it looks like I might get it with his whole company. This will be one that I will cherish and always remember.
Dean says, “You too, Alexis,” as he humps my leg. I laugh as memories of last night flash in my mind. It was great even though I am hurting today. “Gotta love a girl who smiles.”
“Very true,” I reply as I look around the room at my old and new friends before my eyes focus on Johnnie. “I have lots of reasons to smile.” I kiss Johnnie before giving Dean one last hug. “Have a safe flight.”
“Will do. Goodbye, everyone. Don't have too much fun without me,” Dean says as he turns to leave. The girls and I hug him. “Mmmm, the things I could do to you three…”
All of us girls yell, “Down boy!”
Dean laughs, “Goodbye everyone.”
“Bye, fucker,” Johnnie says. I glare at him and he shrugs. “What? It is how we say goodbye to each other.” I roll my eyes as Dean and James leave. Cami and Sean grabbed their bags and headed out as Kim went to work. “So how about a nice relaxing massage and just a low-key day?” Johnnie asks as he scoops me up and carries me back to bed.
“That sounds amazing.”
Johnnie’s phone rings. “Give me a minute,” he says, as he grabs his phone from the bedside table and walks out of the room. I have a sinking feeling he's leaving. I knew this couldn't last. He comes back in and sighs, “So someone broke into our house and stole a bunch of our equipment and smashed some windows. Trey was beaten up and is in the hospital. I don't know the extent of his injuries or the damage to the house.” I shake my head in disbelief. “Apparently, they think it may have been an enraged fan. I need to go and figure this all out, but I don't want to leave you.”
“Shit! No, don't worry about me. I hope he will be okay. I know what it is like.”
He sits down and cradles my head in his hands. “I'll call you okay and I will be back to get you by Valentine's Day. I already have a few ideas.”
I have ideas too. I think I will tell him, that I am falling for him and then show him how much. “Don't worry about me. I will be sleeping most of the time since I won't be working at that club anymore.”
“I will always worry about you, but know that I would much rather be here with you,” he says as he looks into my eyes. He leans in and kisses me. It is the kind of kiss you will never forget. His lips take mine as his tongue sweeps past them. With just the swipe of his tongue, he dances a sweet tender tango that I shall remember while he's gone. Heat runs up my back as my fingers run through his hair.
“I won't forget you. These last few days have been the greatest. I've never felt so free and open to be myself. You just made me feel so beautiful.”
Johnnie says, “You are beautiful...l have loved every minute of it. I'll figure out the quickest way I can come out again. This means a lot to me. I am not letting you go. I will be back, Alexis.” He rests his forehead on mine. “God, I don't want to leave you.”
“Maybe I can come out there if you aren't back by then. I just need a bit of time to recover or I might be tempted to go with you right now.”
“Okay.” He kisses me one last time, then quickly grabs his bag and zips it up. He points to the gift basket on my dresser. “Soon, very soon.”
“Definitely, bye. We will speak soon,” I say as he walks out looking stressed. After he left, I really couldn't sleep. I hobble out of my room and make myself some breakfast and tea. I get comfortable on the couch. The same couch that Dean slept on and jerked off on. I laugh as I eat, while I think about them all and how funny Dean is, when he isn't in front of a camera.
I smirk thinking about Dean. All the guys are actually really down to earth. I turn on the TV and lie down. I need to rest because I plan to enjoy this Valentine's Day**.** Johnnie has kept his word so far. He wouldn't desert me on Valentine's Day, would he?
