Chapter 21: Christiana's POV

I didn't know if I should smile or frown. Should take her words as a compliment or an insult but the fact is she crossed the line.

I never liked her, her presence from day one showed she wanted Andrew and she thought he was hers until she saw me. She referred to me as a side chick and that proved all my accusations; she wanted Andrew.

Side chick? I froze, trying to calm and talk myself out of whatever acts I was thinking about. Did she just call me a side chick? I asked within myself. I was lost, I didn't know what to say but I knew I definitely had to say something to put her in her place and to make it very clear that Andy was mine and no one else.

I smiled at the receptionist who had a tart expression. She looked down at her computer when she saw my face that had turned from a smile to one that could kill.

"I will go see my fiancé now, excuse me," Vanessa said, walking off with a triumphant smirk. I felt the urge to pull her back but restrained myself.

Fiancée? Is that what she's known as. Is he really engaged to Vanessa? I wanted to go back home but I remembered promising myself to trust Andrew and to approach him no matter the issue.

How would I tell the receptionist that I am Andrew's girlfriend when Vanessa made it look like I was the side chick? I felt so embarrassed.

I brought out my phone from my bag and dialed Andrew's number. In one ring, he picked the call.

"Hey my love. How are you?" He said huskily. I could tell he was doing something and was probably tired.

"Hi my love. I'm at the company right now and the receptionist won't let me go in," I said to him, placing my left hand on my waist as I looked at the receptionist.

"You are here? Really? I'm so sorry, I will talk to her now," he said.

As soon as he ended the call, the Telecom at the reception rang.

"Yes, sir. Ok, sir. I'm sorry, sir. I will send her up now, sir." I heard the receptionist say. She was horrified. I wanted to laugh at her reaction, what a bitch.

After being given directions to go to the 51st floor to the elevator, I walked away. When I reached it, I saw Vanessa talking on the phone. She ended the call smiling.

I took a good look at her outfit; dressed like the slut she was. She was wearing a tight strapless gown that stopped mid-thigh, red heels, and held tight to her red clutch. Her red lipstick shining as usual.

"She finally let you pass," she muttered taking a look at me.

"So I heard from Emerald that your father is a broke old man?" Her words came out as an insult rather than a question.

A broke old man?! This bitch has gone too far. To think I'd let her step all over me and go free.

I laugh sarcastically before replying, "I know right, I also heard you're a prostitute at night and a fake by day." I retorted, smirking.

Her expression changed from a smirk to a scowl.

"Bitch! What did you just say?" she fumed while stalking closer to me. I smiled moving closer to her too.

"You heard what I said ... slut!" I repeated and she slapped me.

Shit! That hurts. I acted as if I was backing off and as soon as she wasn't expecting it, I slapped her with both my right and left hands after dropping my bag on the floor.

"You ... you ..."

"Yes, I did, and I wouldn't mind doing that again. And the next time you disrespect my father, I might actually hurt you." I warned.

"Guess what? You won't ever have Andrew, because you won't live to see that day. He has always and will always be mine,” she said pointing her index finger at me "Is that a threat?" I inquired.

"It's exactly what I said. Andrew knows he can't marry you, so enjoy it while it lasts." She spat, pressing the elevator button to open.

I stood there, her words ringing in my head. Were they going to kill me? Does Andrew know he and I won't last?

I shrugged off those thoughts, I won't let myself think anything negative today.

I finally reached Andrew's office. Wow! The designs and setting of the company were indeed mind-blowing.

I knocked on the door before going into the office. I was about to take a look around when I saw Vanessa standing next to Andrew looking at him while he was staring at the computer.

Five feet away from Vanessa! Did he forget that? Okay, Christiana, she worked at this company too. Try being considerate.

"Baby." Andrew called out giving me his million-dollar smile. I walked up to him deliberately pushing Vanessa off as she scoffed. Andrew was taken aback by my action but before he could talk, I claimed his lips seductively, licking them knowing fully well that Vanessa was watching.

He smiled, surprised by my move and I looked at Vanessa innocently.

"I'm so sorry, I just missed him. I didn't know you were there." I spoke with a baby voice, batting my lashes at her.

She scoffed and crossed her arms. "Do I look like a pen to be thrown away?"

"I'm so sorry. Grow some meat on those bones. Maybe then you might not be so easily pushed." I spat out.

"Says the fat girl," she hissed.

I smirked deviously as a thought came to me. I would let her know Andy was my man and mine alone.

"Could you please excuse us, I wanna fuck my boyfriend." I've never been this confident.

Vanessa scoffed, Andy raised his brows in shock and confusion.

"That's against the rules!" She raised her voice, annoyance evident in it.

"I don't work here, and I've always wanted to be fucked on a desk. And I don't think my boyfriend has an issue with that. Do you baby?" I asked Andy who was still in shock at the words that came out of my mouth.

"Whatever," she huffed walking off.

As soon as she left, I erupted into laughter. "Did you see her face?" I asked Andrew who was still shocked.

"What was that about?" he asked.

Vanessa's point of view I felt insulted and belittled. How dare that cheap skank? I would ruin her; I would end her.

I was really thrilled when I saw the way the receptionist looked at her and denied her access. The fact a bitch like her had the right to slap me hurt me so badly.

She definitely went far, and I would be sure to end her. I felt so hurt and angry when she slapped me and the way she spoke to me riled me up. I felt so insulted.

Never in my life has anyone raised their hands on me. Never has any lady stolen something I desperately wanted.

She was too bold, and her audacity infuriated me. The words she spat out made my stomach churn. She bragged about fucking a man meant for me alone.

I promise to ruin her, I promise to make sure she lives the world. I drove in a haste to meet Emerald. I could wait to tell her what had happened and to put action to our plan.

That bitch will regret it, she will try stealing my man. She will regret kissing him in front of me. She will regret raising her hands on me and most importantly she will regret saying she wanted to fuck him in front of me Everything Emerald said about her was true.

"What is it Nessa?" Emerald asked me as I barged into her room without knocking. I paced around angrily.

"I hate her!" I spat out in venom. I hated that poor bitch! "I hate her so much and I want her gone from our lives!"

"Calm down my dear. Mind telling me what the problem is?" She asked me.

"It's that bitch! That poor Switzerland bitch! That witch who stole Andy from me!" I lamented frustratingly.

"Do you know what she did? Do you know what she did!" I exclaimed clearly infuriated.

"What did she do, enlighten me," Emerald demanded.

"She slapped me! That bitch slapped me! She raised her filthy hands on me. She went to meet Andrew and she kissed him in front of me and she said she wanted to fuck him, and I should leave. She said she would kill me, and she would get all of him!" I said exasperatedly.

"What? She said all of that?" Emerald exclaimed.

"Yes, she did. She said she isn't scared of us and she will kill the both of us if we don't let Andrew be with her," I lied, hoping to add more fuel to the already spreading fire.

Emerald clicked her tongue, "I knew sooner or later, she would reveal her true self but before she takes any action. I will see to it she dies!" Emerald deadpanned and I smirked.
