Chapter 35: BAB 35

He quietly walked towards her while I just stood where he stopped me.

They looked at Psalm and I saw the fear and dread on their faces. Before Psalm could speak, they immediately sped off.

Psalm, who are you?

The next day I was sent to the arena, I don't know why. The School Pres said. My Level 1 training is about to start. He even warned me that I need to prepare myself, physically and emotionally. Because I can't expect the training here.

I put on my combat attire and walked towards the arena, I didn't memorize the place so I just followed the students who were also in combat attire walking in the same direction.

They stopped so I stopped, we stopped at an arena. It's like, a city field. (a/n: if you don't know what Citi field is, just search it.)

"Brenda, I'm nervous. This is my first day here." I immediately turned to the woman, she also turned to me and I immediately saw her face. Maureen.

"Maureen?" I called him. She tried to smile at me so I smiled at her, I walked towards her.

"Hi, Reian. Thank you for calling Psalm last night." Yeah right, what Psalm told Maureen was that I called her to ask for help.

"It's okay, not a big deal. It's your first day too?" I will ask. He nodded at me and brushed his short hair.

"Me too, I'm a little nervous too." The girl he was talking to earlier said. He must have seen the confusion on my face so he laughed softly.

"I'm Brenda." I just said 'ah', I forgot. Maureen called her Brenda earlier.

"Your face is familiar to me Reian..." Maureen said immediately, raising my eyebrows because of what she said.

"What do you mean by that?" I was confused about Maureen. We never met before, so he couldn't have seen me before.

"I saw you somewhere around the school."

He said.

"Maybe-"

"Ah right!" Maureen cut me off.

"It's on the List of Mafia Bosses. There you are, you're the fourth highest mafia boss." Huh? Maureen's words made me think, but I immediately remembered Savienna.

"Oh, that's not me. That's my twin." I explained.

"You have twins?" Brenda asked so I nodded at her.

"Woah, I heard that's good. So you're good too?"

I was going to answer no but immediately the huge gate opened to enter the arena. All the students were silent and just stared at the opening of the big gate.

"Welcome, to all the future Mafia's there. Your Level 1 training will start now." I immediately recognized that voice, it was Deus. I was immediately nervous. Will this involve killing?

We slowly entered inside and I was amazed at the size of the entire arena. Even Brenda and Maureen were impressed. by the size of the arena.

When we got inside everyone was very quiet. I got even more nervous and looked at the huge monitor, Deus and the other headmasters of the school were there.

"And for your level 1 training, you need to kill each other." Kk-kill?

"The 20 students who will be left will proceed to level 2 of the training. Good luck my future mafias! Your time starts, now!"

None of us moved, we just looked at each other. No one wants to kill, even Brenda and Maureen are already shivering. But we were very surprised when suddenly someone shouted not far away.

"If you don't want to move, I'll kill you all! I need to be a mafia!" A man yelled which immediately alerted us all.

And everybody is already in chaos. But do I need to kill? I can't kill! And I'll never kill!

My hands began to tremble when I saw a lot of bodies, lifeless. Brenda and Maureen start to act, they are close friends so they don't kill each other. Because of the strength of my feeling, I felt that someone was going to attack me, so I immediately dodged.

"Reian! What are you doing?! Move now!" Because of Maureen's scream, I immediately came back to my senses.

"But I can't kill!" I cried out loud.

"If you can't then try to save yourself! Shake yourself! Fight back, weak people aren't for here! You choose! You kill or you die!" Brenda shouted. I kill or I die.

I looked at the monitor and saw the headmasters looking at us seriously, especially Deus. I know he is watching me the whole time, I can let them see my tantrums here.

You choose, Sabrina. You kill or you die? Come on, brain work now! I was sweating while looking around. I counted all the injured bodies, 14. And I can't be one of them.

Remember Sabrina, you are doing this for Saint. To take revenge for Saint, you entering this school is for your baby. For Saint. My heart eased, and all I can see is Saint's smiling face.

'You can do it, baby! I am so proud of you.!

Oh God, forgive me for this sin.

I opened my eyes and immediately looked around. I can't die now. This kind of person is not going to bring me down, I can't allow it.

I moved quickly when I felt a hand punch me. I grabbed that hand and twisted it, I heard a broken bone and a scream.

I wasted no time and immediately kicked that man's neck. And I am now sure of it, I just made my first kill. Instead of being afraid, my desperation prevailed to join the ones who will be saved in our bloody fight.

My eyes widened when I saw three women rushing towards me. The other one is the one on the left, while the other one is on my right and the last one is behind me.

They rushed at me at the same time, and I made the stun I wasn't sure about. I made a high jump and landed behind those girls. I saw surprise in their eyes.

They all rushed toward me and all I can do is to defend myself. I punched one of them so hard that I was able to move a bit more freely. I kicked that bitch hard which immediately knocked her down.

The two were about to run but I made my swift move and teleported to their front. But I just ran fast to move in front of them.

I smirked. "Two little rats are running from a cat," I said.

And without any thought, I kicked the other girl hard and punched another one. I locked the neck of one in my arm and broke it. I saw the other girl shivering. I didn't waste any time and kicked her hard straight in the face.
