Chapter 881: Proving One by One
In an instant, the surrounding flashbulbs grew brighter.
Naturally, many media outlets were eager to ask questions.
But soon, under Leon's imposing presence, the room fell silent.
“Everyone, I know you must have a lot of questions right now.”
He squinted his eyes, his gaze becoming heavy and complex.
“The reason for creating this platform today is to have the opportunity to collaborate with all of you. If you have any questions, there will be a designated time for you to ask them later.”
He squinted his eyes again.
“The first thing I want to address is a question that has been on everyone's mind recently.”
As he spoke, the large screen behind him displayed photos and video clips of Tiffany and Alfonso that had been secretly taken.
Leon’s eyes were filled with displeasure.
“Just because of these few pieces of content, my wife has been accused of cheating, and with an artist from my company no less.”
“So, I’ve gathered everyone here to provide an explanation. Also... to stop these baseless accusations against my wife and Alfonso.”
He turned his head slightly, glancing at Tiffany backstage.
Then, Tiffany slowly pushed Alfonso out.
Both of them appeared very calm, and as they appeared, many cameras focused on them.
The sound of photos being taken came from the side, making Tiffany frown in displeasure.
Her expression was calm, though it was unclear what she was thinking at the moment.
After a while, they sat down.
Reporters in the audience began their interviews.
“You say all of this is fake, but what evidence do you have to support that?”
“Yeah, the photos and videos from that time are real. They do look very close. Doesn’t that suggest something?”
“Right, what kind of CEO's wife needs to have so much contact with an artist from her own company?”
“From this perspective, the situation seems very unusual. If you're here to explain, why not clarify everything today?”
...
Suddenly, questions were being thrown at them from all directions.
Tiffany and the others looked very serious.
She squinted her eyes and, upon hearing these questions, slowly picked up the microphone and spoke frankly.
“It's clear that everyone is eager to learn some juicy details today, but I think you’ll be disappointed after seeing the evidence.”
Her red lips parted slightly, and her expression was very serious.
She turned to look at the screen.
“Since everyone is so curious about what happened that day, I’ll take this opportunity to reveal the truth.”
The screen behind her changed.
It showed surveillance footage of Tiffany standing alone outside a hospital, with two people sneaking towards the hospital from a distance.
After pausing the footage, Tiffany spoke bluntly, “This is the cause of the incident.”
“Leon and I had just come out of the hospital. He had other matters to attend to, so I waited alone for the driver to pick me up. While waiting, I overheard a conversation about Alfonso’s car accident and hospitalization, which someone had found out through a ticket scalper.”
“Because of this, they wanted to use a relative in the hospital to find out Alfonso’s room. As an artist under my husband’s company, I naturally chose to help, so I returned to the hospital immediately.”
“At that time, Alfonso’s manager and assistant can both testify, including all subsequent actions. They were with us the whole time. But for some reason, the video clips released online conveniently excluded them.”
She then slowly recounted the events that followed, her face showing a clear mix of seriousness and complexity.
Alfonso also added more details.
After explaining everything, some people still questioned them.
“These are just your words. Alfonso’s manager and assistant are your people. If you wanted to fabricate a lie, it would be easy, right?”
“Yeah, how do we know what your relationship really is? But Alfonso is a rising star with many fans supporting his career. If he were to start dating now, or even seduce the boss’s wife, that would be terrible!”
“This matter needs to be clarified for the fans!”
After these words, the surrounding noise grew louder.
Tiffany frowned deeply, feeling her head buzzing with all the noise.
Her head felt like it was about to explode from the overwhelming clamor.
As she struggled to figure out how to respond, Leon’s voice suddenly came to her ears.
“We anticipated these questions, and as you said, this situation needs to be addressed.”
His face remained calm, especially when discussing this matter.
“Since that’s the case, we have brought a few key witnesses here today. They can tell you what really happened.”
He gestured with his hand.
Under the guidance of the staff, two people slowly appeared in everyone’s view.
Seeing them, Tiffany’s eyes flashed with surprise.
She was somewhat taken aback that Leon had managed to bring the ticket scalper and the fan who had sought out the ticket scalper.
The two looked somewhat embarrassed and awkward but still walked out slowly.
Leon walked up to them.
“These rumors have greatly affected my wife and the artists under our company. Please tell the truth so everyone can understand what really happened.”
The ticket scalper blinked, looking a bit guilty.
After hesitating for a moment, he slowly began to speak.
“You already know what happened. When Alfonso had his accident, I was following him, so I saw the situation and took photos.”
“Then, I drove after them to the hospital and sold the photo in a fan group. Later... this fan next to me paid for the information and asked me to take her to see Alfonso at the hospital.”
“I couldn’t do it initially, but I had a relative working at that hospital, so I took the opportunity to bring her in.”
“Unexpectedly... it worked!”
