Chapter 86: LXXXVI.

I was preparing to head home after another eventful school day when I heard someone call my name. "Hey, George."

I stopped walking and turned around. Izzy was standing a few feet away, her arms folded across her chest and that irritatingly confident smile plastered across her face.

"What do you want?" I asked with annoyance. Just the sight of her was enough to rile me up. Why is she even talking to me anyway?

"We need to talk." She said simply giving me some kind of puppy dog look that almost made me melt, but I stood my ground.

I almost laughed at her audacity. Who the hell does she think she is to bluntly order me around like I woe her something. What part of stay away from me doesn't she understand?

"And what do you want to talk about? I don't think there's anything we have left to talk about."

She rolled her eyes but still managed to look amused. "Stop overthinking shit and just come with me."

"Tell me want you want to tell me right here. I'm not going anywhere with you." No way in hell am I ever going to give in to her ever again.

She raised a challenging eyebrow at me like she was trying to mock me, and that stare irritated me. "Why? Are you scared that I might hurt you or something? That's really lame of you?"

I clenched my fist in anger. "I'm not scared of you Izzy, I'm just disgusted by the kind of person you are and I want nothing to do with you. There's a difference."

She shrugged, "if you aren't scared, then prove it. Aren't you curious to know what I want to talk about?" I remained silent still staring at her. If I'm to be honest, I really wanted to know what she wants to talk about. "Come on." She said and before I could respond, she turned and walked toward one of the empty classrooms. I stood there for a moment, debating whether following her was the stupidest decision I'd ever made.

It probably was, but curiosity got the better of me, so I followed her.

I stepped inside into the classroom and Izzy closed the door behind me and turned to face me. I kept my expression stern as I asked her, "What did you want to talk about?"

She shrugged nonchalantly. "There's something I've been dying to know about you and your feelings for me."

I scoffed in disbelieve. What the hell is she talking about? "What feelings for you? If you haven't noticed it yet, then let me make it clear Isadora Ricci, I don't like you."

She scoffed out a laugh. "Do you really not like me or you're just mad that the fairytale love story you dreamed about after kissing the girl in Paris would never come true. You're so mad that the girl you fell head over heels for doesn't like you back. That's making your so mad, not that you hate me."

"If that's what you think, then that's your problem. Can I go now?" I said even though I knew that she was a tiny little bit right.

"I just want to prove it." She said with a smirk as she began to walk toward me.

I instinctively stepped back cautiously. "What the hell are you doing?"

She simply smiled. Then, before I could react, she grabbed the front of my shirt and pulled me in for a deep, passionate kiss.

My eyes widened and for a second, I froze. Memories of Paris night rushed into my mind like it only happened yesterday. Her lips felt the same, soft against mine like we were molded to fit. Her scent drove me crazy with need. There was an ache within me that I couldn't explain.

All those feelings that made me attached to her back in Paris came crashing unto me in full force. I almost couldn't take it. I've never had sex before and my body must be reacting extremely for the first time, because I felt extremely turned on in that moment.

But then reality came crashing back to me. This is Isadora Ricci, the girl who had played me since I started school here. The girl who kept lying and messing with my head. She's probably doing the same thing right now, and no way in hell would I fall for that.

With enough strength while being careful not to hurt her, I pushed her away. "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

Izzy stared at me and burst out laughing. She looked completely unbothered, as if she'd just done something perfectly ordinary. This fucking bitch was seriously messing with my patience. She was seriously starting to cross the line and I was getting fed up.

"You said you hate me, but yet you were kissing me right back like your life depends on it. I'm sure if I went further, you would happily fuck me against the teacher's desk."

My jaw tightened "Don't be so full of yourself Izzy, I'm not that easy. I would never give in to someone like you. A cruel manipulative bitch, that's just what you are!"

"You can keep telling yourself all that bullshit, handsome, but eventually you'll realize you can't resist me. No one can actually and you're failing miserably to hide your feelings."

"You're delusional." I snapped.

"Should we bet on it then?" She asked with a smirk. "We can bet on how long it takes before George gives in to this hottie, Izzy."

"It'll never happen."

She walked toward the door, then glanced over her shoulder with a smile. "We'll see about that. Until then, see you tomorrow handsome." She winked before walking out.

I stood there staring at the closed door in anger and annoyance, but at the same time fear and discomfort.

I hated her. I absolutely detest her. So why the hell was my heart beating like I'd just run across campus?

I shook my head to get rid of those stupid thoughts. No I wasn't falling for her games again. I was done being an instrument for her stupid experiments.

The next morning, I avoided the cafeteria when I knew she'd be there. I took a different route between classes. I even chose a seat on the opposite side of my calculus class because Izzy had this class with me and she always say at the other side of the classroom.

For the first twenty minutes, everything was perfect until someone dropped into the seat beside me.

I stared up at the person and frowned when my eyes locked on Izzy's green ones. I tried to ignore how beautiful she looks just like always, but I couldn't deny that she would always be beautiful despite her personality.

"Good morning, handsome." She said sweetly like sitting next to me was perfectly normal. This bitch knows I hate her, so what does she really want from me?!

I closed my eyes in frustration. We were in class and I didn't want to cause a scene. People were already starting to look, because it was already strange seeing me and Izzy seated together.

"Go away, Izzy. I don't have enough strength to deal with you today." I said hoping she would take the hint and fuck off.

"Nope. I don't want to leave handsome. I like sitting right here beside she." She said with a wide grin that annoyed me so damn much.

"Why? This isn't even your seat!"

"Well, it gives me a better view of your handsome face from up close." She leaned her elbow on the desk with her chin in her hand. "I like looking at you. You're so cute!"

I scoffed, "just make sure you don't disturb my peace!" I ignored her after that and focused on the class as the teacher already arrived.

I tried to focus on what was being taught by the teacher, but Izzy seemed determined to make that impossible.

She kept leaning toward me whenever the teacher explained something important, whispering completely unnecessary and seductive comments in my ear.

"I wish I could kiss you again George." She would say and my pen would flatter slightly. What the hell does she want?

"Leave me alone Izzy." I snapped in a whisper to avoid the teacher calling on out on being inappropriate during class.

"Is that really what you want?" She asked with a grin and I glared at her to which she only laughed, pointing at my face. "You're blushing."

"I'm not!" I growled in annoyance.

"Yes you are. You're all red in the face and it's hilarious!"

I clenched my jaw and ignored her completely. I wasn't going to let her mess with me during class, I'm fed up with this games.

However, Izzy wasn't giving up in making my life difficult. A few minutes later, she nudged my elbow. I simply moved it away.

She decided to trail her palm up my thigh in a seductive touch and I stiffened for a second, but I quickly pushed her hand away and glared at her.

She laughed quietly. "You have to relax s bit handsome. You're so tense."

"Why do you have to be so annoying?!"

She shrugged, "I think you like me either way."

I rolled my eyes. "I think you need professional help lunatic!"

She giggled and I decided to ignore her again and focus in class. I tried really hard to concentrate, but she kept finding new ways to distract me.

She suddenly took my pen without asking. Then she started drawing tiny hearts in the corner of my notebook.

I glared at her in annoyance. "Stop that. What the fuck do you even think you're doing Izzy, you're getting on my nerves."

"I just like it when your attention is on me. You look really cute when you're mad."

I snatched the pen from her hand and was about to snap at her again, but this time the teacher noticed the commotion between us.

"Miss Ricci and Mr George, would you care to share with the class what interesting conversation you are having that's more important than my class?" He asked with one eyebrow raised in expectations.

My stomach dropped as the classroom erupted in quiet laughter. I felt my face heat up but Izzy was the one who replied.

"George was just asking me to be his partner for the project you were talking about just now. You said we could do it in pairs and George thought it would be very nice to have me as his partner."

I nearly choked. "What, when did I say that?! What project are you talking about?" I didn't remember the teacher mentioning a project because Izzy has been distracting me non stop.

"That's fine. You two can work together on it. The project is due next week." The teacher replied nodding in agreement.

"Thank you sir," Izzy said and smiled sweetly at me just as the teacher returned to his lecture before I could complain.

"You did that on purpose Izzy. Just how despicable would you be?" I growled underneath my breath.

"Yeah, keep pretending that you're not happy." She said with a roll of her eyes. "Your house or mine?"

"Fuck off Izzy!"
