Clothes were scattered all over the place.

Regina Miller had a thick, fine sweat covering her forehead. To prevent herself from gasping, she clamped her lips.

She didn't want to be heard by the man, but a weak coquettish groan spilled from her throat.

She cast a slight sidelong glance towards the man. She couldn't interpret the feelings in his deep eyes two years ago.

"Don't forget that it was you who made the initiative to come to the door to make a bargain with me, and the condition was your body," the man said as he gripped Regina's hands and lifted them upward.

His tone was contemptuous and mocking, and his actions became more violent.

Regina felt as if she were trapped in an ice cave. Her skin was shivering, and her heart was aching slightly in her chest.

He merely treated her as a whore and a tool to be used for pleasure from the beginning to the end.

Mandel Martin didn't even look at Regina like if he'd never made love to her.

He pulled out all at once without any hesitation.

Regina was naked and pulled the quilt over to wrap herself tightly.

Her ears were filled with the sound of water pattering in the bathroom. She could see the man's broad form by looking sideways.

She would never forget being imprisoned two years ago as a result of Mandel's mother's ploy.

These two years in prison had always felt like a small mountain, a thousand pounds on her back. She couldn't even take a breath.

Despite the ache in her body, she picked up her clothing and put them on, hoping to visit her mother in the hospital sooner.

Regina's body stiffened slightly. As she turned back to look, her heart felt like it had been stabbed by a needle.

The man was dressed in a white bathrobe that was open to reveal a lean, sturdy chest with water droplets sliding down it.

"It's none of your concern. In the end, I not only got paid, but I also got to have fun. What a steal."

Regina snorted.

She was no longer the frail one she had been two years before.

Mandel's expression stiffened slightly, and a look of surprise crossed his face, as if he hadn't expected Regina to refute him.

"You are no different than a whore in my eyes," he said, gathering his emotions and his eyes full of indifference.

Regina's eyelids drooped slightly, her lips hooked in a sneer, "Yes, I am a prostitute, but didn't you also fuck me?"

Mandel seemed to be in a trance as he looked at her. He didn't seem to recognize her in any way.

Her features were the same as they had been two years before, but she exuded an awe-inspiring aura.

"Well, it appears that you suffered in prison for two years in order to become more eloquent."
