Chapter 174: THE FURY OF A SHE-WOLF
I smiled between my fangs, running towards her, but she was faster and dodged my strike with her claws, running away. I started to hunt her around the cabin, irritated by her cowardice. Furthermore, I glanced at the Alpha, who was beginning his confrontation with Walker, while Lambert entered the cabin in search of the cub!
“Stop running, prey. I'm going to tear you apart!” Brandi exclaimed, seizing the she-wolf's tail and pulling it forcefully backward.
She growled in fear, trying to retaliate against the bites. I applied more pressure to my jaw, tearing at the top of her buttocks and perforating her ribs with my claws.
“You don't understand, human. I had to do all this… Because of the Alpha, I lost my destined wolf, my mate, and the love of my life!” Victoria's choked tone made me release her and stare.
“What are you talking about? Your wolf wanted to take the alpha's place; he was weak; that's why he died!” I snarled, spitting on the ground the blood that was in my mouth.
“The Lycan king could have expelled him without killing him; however, he was always selfish and wanted to humiliate and assassinate him in front of everyone.” She lowered her snout, emphasizing the prominence of her fangs. “He knew I loved him, and yet he took him away from me. That's why, cursed Luna, I'll take everything from him, all the love!”
Victoria lunged at me with more force, delivering kicks that hit my chest and hairy shoulder. I didn't growl in pain, but due to the fury escalating within me, when she attacked again, I opened my mouth, letting her paw enter, clamped down forcefully, shaking my head from side to side frantically, and crushed her paw.
“You wretched creature!” She groaned in pain.
I leaped onto her body, making her fall backward on the ground. I stood over the she-wolf, who now seemed small in the face of my dominance and strength.
“Your mistake was messing with my cub!” I roared, biting her neck and tearing it apart. Then, consumed by the fury of my wolf, I delivered several kicks to her face, breaking her snout, scratching her eyes with my claws, and disfiguring her completely. The rage was overwhelming.

POV: HARVEY
There stood my enemy of years, in his full imposing stature, filled with hatred, his eyes red with malevolence. Walker had been my first and most enduring adversary, my father, the one who should have protected his cub but instead rejected him due to my father and leader's psychopathy!
“You don't die?” I growled impatiently.
“You can kill me a thousand times, son, and I'll always come back to haunt you.” Walker laughed ironically. “What's the matter? Are you afraid of your old man?”
“I've already killed him twice; they say the third time's the charm!” I smiled menacingly between my fangs.
“You brat, I'll make you regret your existence,” Walker shouted, coming towards me for a confrontation.
Leaping on our hind legs, our bodies collided head-on, paws against paws being exchanged. We both struck each other in the face, moving apart with the impact. I spat out the blood filling my mouth, caused by the wounds from his claws!
“You're out of shape. How about calling someone more powerful for this battle? Your beast, perhaps?” The black wolf taunted.
I noticed the witch stirred at his suggestion, smiling as I understood the plan.
“Let me take down this insignificant wolf. He'll never return to life.” The beast resonated in my mind, ready to take control.
“That's exactly what the dark witch wants. I don't know the plan, but they desire your presence.” I growled back in thought. “They tried to drain us before; we're in the enemy's domain, and their powers are stronger. They might succeed in fully draining you!”
The beast fell silent, understanding the point. If it emerged, it would be used as a power source and imprisoned back in the realm of shadows.
“You better not die, Lycan King!” The beast roared, irritated.
“The only one withering away here will be my dear father.” I snarled, holding threatening and predatory eyes on Walker. “Let's end this once and for all!”
Running towards the black wolf, I leaped over his body, which threatened to bite me and stopped behind him. I grabbed his tail with my claws, throwing him to the ground and then against the cabin's column, breaking part of the roof. The witch floated, observing the fights without directly getting involved.
That seemed strange; she was analyzing meticulously as if our arrival was part of her plan. Upon noticing my gaze, she smiled and pointed with her finger. I turned my head to where Walker should have been, receiving several kicks to the face. Enraged, he tore into my flesh. He bit above my snout, cutting above the eye, leaving my silver fur tinged with red tones and my vision blurred in the left eye. I roared in fury, allowing him to strike again. His claws entered my abdomen, and I kept him there. Smiling with a mouth full of blood and feeling my organs flooded by the hemorrhage caused by the lacerations of his claws, I kept him in place.
“It's my turn, Daddy!” I snarled provocatively.
I drove my free claws into his abdomen, moving them with intensity, tearing him apart completely. Furthermore, I stopped when his body went limp, looked up, still smiling predatorily, and ran the sharp claws from his belly to his shoulders, opening a deep cut!
“Accursed cursed cub,” moaned Walker with dull, lifeless eyes. The red of his irises had disappeared, replaced by a glazed, opaque black.
I retracted my claws, throwing his body aside. I looked up at the sky, and the dark, which was no longer there; even her scent had disappeared. All of this sounded strange! I walked slowly, injured, and I sniffed for Luna. She was tearing at the face of my sister Victoria, who was already lifeless. I approached, holding her, while Sophie trembled compulsively.
“It's over; you've already killed her!” I whispered between my fangs, causing her to transform and hug me tightly. Behind us, we heard a scream of panic, frustration, and fear.
“NO! What have you done?” A boy with hair as light as Sophie's ran towards Victoria's lifeless body. He kneeled, pulling her into his lap, hugging her, and rocking back and forth in despair. “Please, please, don't leave me, Aunt... Please!”
He cried compulsively, and Sophie seemed to notice his presence and scent. She widened her eyes, turning her body toward the boy, who appeared to be thirteen or fourteen years old. His eyes were as intense in green and blue as his aunt's. However, a flash of anger and rebellion resembled his mother, Agatha.
“Conan? Is that you, my little brave one?” Sophie addressed him with love, crouching in front of him and touching the back of his hands. However, he shrank, holding onto the body of the dead she-wolf even tighter. “I, I'm so sorry for this, I...”
“You killed her?” He accused me with fiery eyes.
“I...” She couldn't respond; her eyes were filled with tears.
