Chapter 107: Chapter 0107
•RICHARD•
“I can’t believe someone kidnapped your son when you were planning to kidnap him and get money from Susan. Do you think someone might have known your plan and gone ahead of you?” Henry asked on the phone, and I groaned as I paced in my office.
“No one could’ve taken my son because they heard I wanted to take him, except Lorene. She took him because she wanted to prove a point. She and Andrea have been threatening to make me pay for Roman’s death.”
I had planned to take Kyle somewhere, away with his babysitter, for a holiday and make Natasha and Susan believe he was kidnapped.
My plan wasn’t to bring him harm. It was going to be for a short while, and Kyle would’ve been home when I got the money without him knowing I had planned everything.
“Did you tell Susan and Natasha about this? If your life is in danger, they might want to help you out.”
“Susan might, but I don’t know about Natasha. She hates me now, and I don’t blame her. I said some awful things because—” I scratched my head and sighed. “Ugh. I need to bring my son back, Henry.”
“If you believe Lorene took him, you must confront her. She doesn’t need to prove a point by taking Kyle. He’s just a child, and what she did is unacceptable.”
“How am I going to confront her when she threatens my life with Andrea?” I stopped pacing. “The guy will kill me.”
“He won’t do it unless you kill him first. Have you thought about that?”
I was about to answer him when the door creaked open and Lorene walked in. She smiled when she saw me and closed the door before she walked toward me.
When she left my office after coming to warn me about Andrea, I sat in my chair and wondered about the things I had messed up trying to get money from Susan.
All got me nowhere. Instead of getting what I wanted, Susan expected an emotionally invested relationship before she could trust me with her money.
I was running out of time, and I was afraid I might not see my son again if they killed me before I saved him from whoever took him.
Even Maverick wasn’t answering my calls when I called about the money I had invested in our business. I thought I would use some of it to get someone to eliminate Andrea.
I picked up my cell phone from the counter and called Susan. When I left her villa yesterday morning, she told me she would help me.
She believed and sided with me in everything, and I liked that, though it got out of control and became obvious to Natasha that she was on my side.
“Richard, hey. I’m right outside your office,” she giggled before the door opened, and she walked in.
She locked the door and walked toward me, taking off her jacket. When she got to my side, she sat on my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck.
“Natasha believed everything I said. All the shit about me playing in your face so she wouldn’t suspect us. I’m a genius, aren’t I?” She blushed.
“I don’t think we need her approval after what she did. She’s sleeping with my cousin and doesn’t hide it. Maybe we should make our relationship obvious,” I suggested, and I was confused when she nervously cleared her throat.
“We can’t rub our relationship in her face during Kyle’s disappearance. It will make things worse for you and me. Natasha is my friend, and I don’t want her to think I betrayed her. Not now.”
I couldn’t understand Susan’s deal with Natasha. She had money and everything in the world to have things go her way instead of trying to please Natasha and do everything she wanted her to do.
I felt bummed every time she told me she would talk with Natasha or find out her plans.
“She betrayed me and slept with my cousin. I thought you would be on my side, or do you still want to please her even after what she’s done to me?” I questioned her, hoping she would agree with what I was saying.
If Susan were no longer Natasha’s friend, she would listen to everything I said to her and invest her money in everything I wanted her to invest in.
“I’m not pleasing her, Richard. She’s my friend, and I don’t want to raise suspicions when I turn on her out of nowhere.”
I pulled her face to mine and kissed her passionately. She moaned as I cupped her breast in my hand and massaged it, causing her nipple to harden.
She moaned against my ear and called my name. I got up from the chair and placed her on top of the table, spreading her legs before taking off her panties.
I unzipped my pants and slid my dick out, then pushed it inside her while pulling her closer to me.
“Ahh,” she moaned, clutching her nails into my back.
When I realized she had reached her orgasm when her vaginal walls tightened and moistened around my dick, I filled her up and pulled out gently, groaning from pleasure.
It took me a moment before I gathered my strength and fixed my clothes. Susan giggled when she got off the table and fixed her dress.
“Gosh, I’ve been craving that for ages.”
“If you want us to be together, Natasha should be out of your life and out of your villa. We will find Kyle ourselves, and I want you to trust me.” I leaned toward her and caressed her cheek.
“Fine, I’ll do what you asked me to do, but we don’t tell Natasha the truth yet. I owe her a lot, and we have come a long way together.”
Now that Susan was on my side, Lorene and her tough guy didn’t stand a chance against me.
My mother and sister were reading a newspaper when I arrived home. Katie was laughing until they heard my footsteps approaching the living room.
“Did you see the article? Natasha is representing yet again.”
“Place the newspaper down, Katie. Your brother’s in it too, and they say he killed a club owner. Natasha is not the only one facing slanderous threats,” my mother corrected her.
I didn’t mind them as I headed upstairs to my bedroom and locked the door behind me.
I took off my clothes and was about to shower when I received a chilling text from Lorene.
Lorene: “They’re coming for you tonight. If they get you, it will be over for you, Richard. Andrea won’t make your death easy.”
