Spinel’s POV-
I slipped out of the entertainment room, and was heading up to the Alpha floor, it had been a little of 2 hours since Alsie and Emerald went upstairs. I wanted to make sure Emerald was at peace with killing Axel.
As I was going up the second flight of stairs, I heard quiet footsteps coming down the stairs in my direction. I looked up it was Alsie, and she had that look of freshly fucked and feeling great written all over her face.
“She took care of you, huh?”
Alsie laughed and shook her head, “Man, thank you for introducing her to toys.”
Now it was my turn to laugh, “Which one?”
“One? You mean three.” Alsie smirked.
“Three?”

I pulled Alsie closer to me, rubbing her shoulder, and giving her the quiet acceptance she needed to let her feelings out.
“I don’t know anything about being pregnant, I’ve never had a female mate before, Jet and I had strict rules about the women we shared our bed with and pregnancy. I may be speaking out of turn here, but I think maybe, just maybe this feeling could be due to the pregnancy hormones and all the changes that have come our way. You are about to give up your pack, your home where you grew up. I know you’re signing all of it over to Jet and we both know he’ll be a good steward. Even though the decision was made and accepted by you and the triplets, it’s still an emotional thing to do, add to that the fact your pregnant and it amplifies things. I don’t think you’re being unreasonable. I’m sure your body is tired. I’m almost certain when you thought about having pups with whoever your mate was going to be, you didn’t think you’d have 15 before you were 30 years old.”
Alsie sniffed and wiped the tears from her eyes, “I didn’t. I wanted three, tops.”
I laughed, “You’re way past that.”
“I know.” Alsie sobbed into the space under my armpit, my shirt getting wet with her tears.
“Talk to your mates, Alsie. Explain it all to them, tell them how you’re feeling. I know from our little boys night downstairs, they are overwhelmed as well. They didn’t think there would be this many running around so soon. They know it’s been hard on your body physically, but they have no idea that it’s messing with your mental health too. All of you need to have a serious conversation on how to move forward after this pregnancy. Axinite has the best fertility clinic in the United States.”
“Spinel, my issue isn’t fertility. I can get pregnant if one of them looks at me too long.”
“I don’t think that’s how it works, because if it did work by looking at someone too long, Emerald would’ve been miraculously pregnant about a week after we promoted her and moved her up to the executive floor. My point in bringing up the clinic isn’t because you can’t get pregnant, it’s because you can easily get pregnant. Talk to your mates about birth control, and visit the clinic they specialize in shifter issues, they can help you. I’m going to say it again, your mates love you, Jet, Emerald and I are here for you as well.”
Alsie started sobbing, “I think they like her more than me!”
It took everything I had to not crack up laughing at her outrageous claim. “They do not love her more than you. The bonds are new, you know how it is when you first recognize the bond, the pull to your mate, the desire to be with your mate. It will wear off, once she’s marked, mated and an official ceremony has happened, things will calm down, the bond will calm down. Alsie chuckled, wiped her tears, and looked up at me. “Thank you, Spinel. Thank you for listening and letting me cry.”
“You’re welcome my Queen, now please go get your mates and go home.”
Alsie stood up, brushed off her pants, gave me a quick hug, and proceeded down the stairs to hopefully collect her mates. As she reached the bottom of the flight of stairs we were sitting on, Alsie turned her head up in my direction, “Hey, Spinel, Andrew snores, and it’s especially loud if he’s been drinking.” Alsie laughed and continued her way to the first floor.
“Great, an overnight guest that snores.”
“You’re an amazing man.”
I looked up and there stood Emerald, completely naked, holding the door open.
“What are you doing?”
“I was eavesdropping, but my initial intentions were something much more sinister.”
“Oh really, and what sinister thing were you going to do naked?’
Alsie on the stairs, you know a one for the road kinda thing.”
I continued my climb up the few remaining stairs, “That’s not sinister, that’s more along the lines of exhibitionism and that makes my dick hard.”
“Umm, then come and let me help you with that. You deserve a reward for talking down a pregnant woman.”

I walked onto the Alpha floor, followed my beautifully naked mate, into our living quarters and closed the door behind me. I was going to collect my reward.
