Chapter 28: The hunted

Due to what had happened last night, Stark and I had to push our plans off, but that's OK. The pack was more important and so is our child safety I lead our pack on a 10 man hunt to track and locate Stephanie's whereabouts where she might be, she can't be too far. I guess within a 10 mile radius is where she is. I get my boots on jeans and my jacket. I was ready to take on who I needed to. Heading to the group of wolves that were ready to go. They all shift and turn into their forms for their senses to work better. Once they get the scent they run. I follow after them on fee. I could still see where they're going. They didn't leave me behind knowing that I can't shift right now. about 8 miles ahead is when they finally stay where they're at everyone is silent as could be as we come upon Stephanie's new spot that she is held up looks to be. She is laying on a cot and people are swarmed around her, cleaning her gauze on her chest and putting new fresh gauze on she's in bad shape. We hear her yell, "I need someone to capture one of those wolves I need to be bitten. I need to be able to have the power to take them down and the only way that I'll have enough power is if I am one of them and being one of them is my last chance look at how weak I am my two other spies are not returned yet I need two more to go and find them Hopefully they did not get caught if they did leave them, but capture me one of their wolves. That is only how we will win beat their ass by being one of them." Hearing what they are are deciding to do shook anger inside of me I knew I had to keep myself together from shifting and keep my emotions in check but right now we had to get back to the pack house to make sure that nothing and no one was taken by the time we get there we beat them by just a few minutes Shortly after we arrive I scout out their scouts. I might link with Stark and let them know that they're on the left entrance, hiding in the bushes, Stark, Sam , and my father act like nothing is going on and are heading that way when they capture the two others that were staggering in the bushes they try to fight them off, but they're too overpowered. We dragged them to holding, and I question them and say, "we knew you were coming we overheard everything and that is why no matter what we will always win we're faster smarter. There's no way than Stephanie is ever gonna get away with taking one of us again and being turned into one of us because she will never be one of us. She is a trader kind and to the humankind. The spirits would never accept her. They would let the bike kill her, instead of making her a werewolf, our spirits hold us and our bond dearly if one of us like Sarah was to be a traitor as you can see Sarah cannot change no more because there is no longer one of us. They will read her of her power and her senses she will no longer have the spiritual power to become a being like us. And neither of you would have the honor to become thankfully we caught this ahead of time." as I approach the door to leave Sarah's yells out. Saying, "you can't get away with keeping us down here one way or another the real world the humans will find out what you were doing to us. Stephanie won't go down without a fight if she can't become one of you, she will bring in the real authorities and the real authorities will take you guys in. And the gods and spirits are not punishing me. They would never turn their backs on me. I should be the rightful Luna." I laugh, "but that's why you're in here and you can't shift or anything. Our spirits have striped you of their powers. I felt it last night at the ritual. The gods and the spirits have talked to me. I am the rightful Luna and I will take that place after I have my baby and I am married. I Bear the responsibilities to take action to punish the ones who have betrayed or attacked us and I will be the one to make that decision on whether you live or not. I have been given that responsibility by them. The spirits have guided me this far since I have been home and they have rightfully brought me back and I will however they lead me and the fate that you're in whatever they decide I will fulfill I will respect the spirits in my elders, and the elders here have decided already before this happened that we would never forgive your betrayal your betrayal was so deep. We were friends as kids what happened to you. Just because I came back, you think that you could destroy everybody and my love my family you will never get away with that so I don't know why you did it. I was looking forward to being friends with you again. We were so bonded just like Stark me you and Sam. We were all best friends and you betrayed all of us. I got my memory back. I remember our bond and I don't understand how you thought that you could just run over me and think that you are better than any of us, no one is better than anyone. I'm not even better than anybody. The gods are the ones who make our rules and we follow them and we support and we guide our pack through those laws and you couldn't even stay true.
