CHAPTER 58

"Because I didn't want one when Ally was born she was my first priority men weren't important and it was pointless dating only for a certain period of time. Ally needed stability how was I gonna provide that for her by bringing different men into her life.I couldn't do that."

"And Riley,how long have you known him."

"Since Ally has been two."

He sipped his wine holding Abby's gaze."So he's been in love with you for so long and you never gave him a chance.I'm surprised."

"He doesn't love me Alejandro,he's been asking me out since we moved here Blake's a good guy but I don't feel anything for him,he'll find someone soon."

"I know you're not that blind to see how he looks at you like a man in love."

Abby knew he was telling the truth,she's seen how Blake looks at her even Eric had told her that Blake loves her but it was better pretending not to know so that she won't feel so guilty for rejecting him."Can we not talk about him."

"Thank you,for putting Alejandra's needs above your own.For not exploiting her to this cruel world by allowing different men into her life.I respect you for that and it makes me proud to say I'm glad you're the mother of my kids despite your actions."

"Will you ever believe me?"

He shrugged."I don't know.We'll see."

Appetite gone Abby set her plate down."Thank you for the food."

"You welcome.Ready for bed?"He stood up and held out his hand to her Abby placed her hand in his.If this is all she'll ever have with him then she'll enjoy every second of it,she'll be lying if she said it didn't hurt that he still thinks she'd lie to him but she won't allow it to ruin whatever time she spends with him in these few stolen moments he was hers she owned him and she'll treasure every second of it.

"Tonight is my night to pleasure you."She said,shoving him gently onto the bed and climbing on top of him."Tonight I want it all,I want you to look at me as I show you how much I love you."Abby had never initiated making love,he's the one who had always began everything but tonight she'll show him what he truly means to her,she won't just give him her body she'll give him her heart she'll lay it all bare out in the open.This is her first time that'll she will make such a bold move he's probably had countless of woman who'd done this but it didn't matter because she wasn't giving him her body,she was giving him her love...And no one can compare or match up to that.

Alejandro has been up since dawn sleep wouldn't come for most of the night Abigail was sleeping all alone in that huge bed,her words keeps on haunting him 'I want you to look at me as I show you how much I love you'.His mind was working over time he has stayed away from her for these past few days but what has she done instead she came looking for him,Never before has he been more confused in his life than right at this moment,and her lovemaking last night only made matters worse.He was falling for her again...and hard to if he hasn't already he'd thought time away from her would help but she refuses to stay away from him.The one thing he's been afraid would happen has already happened,she was in him,around him she's touched that one place he's kept so hidden for all these years that one place he had promise he would never allow anyone to reach...his heart.

All of a sudden he can't picture his life without her he needed her,she was the air he needed to breathe,his reason for existing,for living,hell she was his life and he cannot live without his life.When and how did things become so complicated,they've been here before and she broke him despite knowing how much he loved her.Can he give her that power to hurt him again,what was he saying she already has that power?What will happen the next time another obstacle gets thrown at them will she up and leave again just when he's finally let her in.Her love last night had been evident in every touch each gentle stroke,caress and in all the kisses she had given him,he had felt it what they had shared was unexplainable.He's more connected to her than before and it was scaring the shit out of him.

"Alejandro..."Only Abigail can call him with so much love in her voice turning he gazed down at her beautiful face,she looked so delectable with her hair all disheveled because he'd run his hands through them all night,her luscious pink lips were slightly parted and looked good enough to eat,he wanted her.

She was wearing his shirt and all he wanted to do was drag her back to bed and bury himself in her heat."What's wrong?"He asked.

"The bed was too big and cold without you.Something is bothering you what is it?"

She knows him well just like he knows her,they can always tell when something was bothering the other."What would you like to do for the day? Maybe we can fetch Alejandra and spend the day together afterwards we can come back and end it here."

She smiled."In bed."He pulled her in his arms."Sounds like a great idea but I'm meeting Amanda for drinks later on."

"Just the two of you?"He hated being insecure or jealous but she's his and he wants the whole world to know that.

"If that's your way of wanting to know if there'll be any men,than no."Relieve washed over him.

"How long will you be."

"I don't know a few hours maybe."

"Don't keep me waiting for long."

"You're always so impatient,I hope our son won't be like you?"

"I'm counting on it."

She laughed the sound warmed his heart."Handling one of you is more than enough for me."

He touched her pendant."I didn't know I was that bad."

"How nice of you to realise."She tenderly touched his cheek,her eyes glowed with love."I need a bath will you join me?"

"What man can refuse such a lovely invitation."

"My clothes?"

"What about them."

"Thanks to you I don't have anything to wear."

"Our clothes will arrive in an hour."

"What time did you wake up."

I didn't sleep he thought."Can't remember."He lied.Abby was totally unaware of Alejandro's change of mood she was too happy this morning to let anything or anyone spoil her mood.They didn't make love but took an hour long bath together by the time their clothes arrive they were done eating breakfast.It wasn't until they were on their way home that she notice Alejandro was unusually quiet.

"You've been very quiet since we left."

"I have alot going on."He said.

"Wanna share."

"It's work related don't worry about it."

"Speaking of which I'm going to open another cafe me and Amanda will discuss the details further."

"Is it necessary to do it now the doctor recommended you take things slow."

"And I will I promise."Abby can see he was concerned."I won't overdo it our baby's safety is also important to me."

"So is yours."What will happen to me if something happens to you.

"Thank you,for caring."I never stopped Abigail."Why haven't you cash the check I gave you."

"I tore it up and threw it away."

"I knew you'd do that."

"I don't want your money Abigail."

"Neither did I but here I am wearing clothes and jewelry you bought how do you think that makes me feel."

"I'm your husband it's my job to provide and take care of you."
