Chapter 106: Kizza & Renald 2

It has been almost a month since she transmigrated in Kizza’s body. Everything was normal except for her desire to help her family and her intimate relationship with Renald. Within a month, Renald would make contact with her at the end of the week, asking her to go to his penthouse. And yes, they are intimate and he is too clingy. “What did you tell him?” She closed her eyes to relax again.

“He had no idea how I am willing to spend all my money for you and I am the one who’s desperate to have you with me.” He chuckled and pinched her cheek. “You're not gonna leave me right?”

Kizza did not respond for a few seconds. What is this? Why does it feel like she should not refuse? Why does it feel like she will regret it if she would break his heart? She had lived an eleventh life now. She should have known this kind of feeling… Is this guilt? Is it because she had transmigrated to a body that is originally not hers? “Kizza? You are seriously crying?” Renald was shocked to see her cry for the first time. He panicked, turned off the hair dryer, and touched her cheeks to lean close to her.

The non-celebrity girlfriend was also spotted many times outside Renald’s penthouse. Renald was also spotted in the university waiting for her. They were also spotted kissing and holding hands in some semi-private spaces.

Countless hates were sent to the non-celebrity girlfriend as she was also investigated by die-hard Renald fans. Thus, Kizza was discovered and was sent death threats and discrimination. She got labelled as a gold-digger and became popular in an instant.

Kizza on the other hand could tolerate all the hate but what she could not accept was the fact that her family was affected. Her siblings got bullied and her mother would be followed by reporters. So there, she made up her mind.

With the help of Kyle, her family was safely sent to another country while she remained to say goodbye. It was hard to meet Renald and she could not contact him as well. She went to the penthouse but reporters were all over the place. She was left with no choice as her flight was approaching.

Renald’s penthouse was surrounded by reporters, limiting his activities. He was restless all day because he could not contact Kizza because his phone fell when he was squeezed by the reporters in the airport. Kizza does not also use social media so he had no way of contacting her. He used his manager’s phone to call Kizza but she was not picking up.

“This is what I told you, Renald.” His manager began nagging. “I told you that it is risky to have a vacation with her. No matter what country you are in, you will be recognized! Who knows if this is plotted by the woman so she can ruin you—” The manager was cut upon meeting Reginald’s glare.

“Kizza is someone you don’t know.”

The manager was scared but he spoke more. “We are all human beings. We are greedy and we can sometimes do crazy things to get what we want.” The manager was a high school classmate as well.

A nerd that has a crush on Renald. He would always notice Renald looking in the direction of Kizza which made him low key and started hating on Kizza. He once ruined Kizza’s assignment just so she could be punished. He thought that he could finally be happy after being chosen as Renald’s manager. Never he expected that Renald could meet Kizza again. This incident was specifically caused by him. He is the one who hired reporters and handed some of the photos he took when Kizza and Renald were together. This is his opportunity to get rid of Kizza.

“What if she purposefully hired reporters in that country so the two of you could be publicized and she could be famous—

A glass was smashed to the wall beside the manager. “Shut the fck up!”

This time the manager started trembling as this is the first time he had seen Renald this mad. Renald’s eyes were furious.

“I will go out and look for Kizza.” Renald started walking to the door so the manager immediately blocked his path.

“This is not a good time to face the reporters, Renald. We will stay silent for a while until the issue cools down—” As soon as he blocked the door, Renald grabbed the manager’s collar.

Renald looked straight into the manager’s eyes, fuming mad at him, “Do you think I would not realize that this is your doing?” He squinted his eyes at the manager who’s shocked to hear what he said.

“H-How could I do something like that?”

Renald tightened his grip on the manager, pushed him to the door, and suffocated him. “Hire reporters? Do you think a mere ordinary woman with no expression would be trusted by high-rated reporters? Do you think I did not check the photos on the news? Those photos could only be taken either by me, Kizza, or you, who was also there. Do you regard me as a fool?”

Sweat started running on the manager’s face. Fear can be seen in his eyes as he struggled in breathing. “N-No. Please don’t misunderstand.”

“Don’t you remember that I studied psychology?” Renald suffocated him even more.

“So, don’t make me lay my hands on you, manager. I would gladly send myself to jail after killing you.” After threatening the manager, Renald pushed him to the side and opened the door, leading the reporters to run in his direction.

He was bombarded with a lot of questions about the dating rumours and he only said specific things.

“I am not denying anything. Kizza is my girlfriend and please do not put her in danger because of me. She is innocent and I love her. If anything happens to her, I have no problem retiring in the entertainment industry.”

In one day, Renald shook the whole country but he did not care about that. He drove his car directly to Kizza’s place and saw emptiness. There he felt an extreme fear that made his whole being tremble. Where could she have been? He drove to every place where she worked and he only received the same replies. “She quit.”

He was already losing his mind when he drove again as he took himself to Kyle’s house and made a scene outside just so he could meet him. He immediately ran towards Kyle after seeing him and grabbed his collar.

“Where is Kizza? Tell me where she is!” He was fuming mad and at the same time extremely worried because he does not know why he has this uneasy feeling.

Kyle on the other side was having a bad complexion after hearing the news just a while ago. Seeing Renald, tears started forming in his eyes again as he mumbled words he had never planned on letting Renald hear it. “I’m sorry.”

Kyle fell on his knees as he kept repeating the same words. “I’m so sorry.”

Renald was in daze as the feeling of uneasiness grew bigger. He saw the phone that Kyle was holding and there was news about a plane crash. Somehow, he had a feeling that he should watch it. He took it and previewed the video.

“Just now, 23 passengers died in a plane crash in the South Cheenya Sea due to turbulence malfunction…”

It was like his ears were blocked after the reporter went on speaking until then the passenger names were mentioned. He would have never expected that name to appear on the screen. He wished that her name would never be mentioned but… his world went black when the news ended.

He started walking back to his car, like a lifeless person, until he found himself driving out of nowhere. And when he came back to his senses, his car was smashed by another and his whole body was covered with blood that he could taste in his mouth. His body was excruciating in pain but his mind was still somewhere else.

He starts chuckling. He did everything to have her. He did everything but… she left him in the end.

“How heartless. How could you be so heartless…”

What’s more foolish? It is that even though he felt like he was left, he was smiling before he lost his breath because he had a thought that it is better to follow her than live in a world that does not have his comfort.

Upon the grieving death of both lovers on the same day, the people realized how hate could affect a person. The people also realized that celebrities were also humans, capable of loving. Celebrities are human beings who also need genuine love where they are loved not because of their fame and skills but they are loved as human beings. This brought the whole world a shock and other celebrities had become freer.
