63 - New dance

[Author's POV].

With haste, he lifted the Viridia Aquatica flower to her face and applied the water droplets to her lips. These few drips of water appear to be a bucket of ice in this heat wave. She was leaning on his chest, but as soon as his fingertips touched hers, her eyelids flickered open, and she sat up.She started coughing as if she was attempting to get rid of all the warm air in her mouth and lungs after being shocked by her own movement. She politely declined his rapid offer of water. Never in her life has she felt such a strong thirst.

As soon as he noticed that she was struggling, he immediately grasped her shoulders to support her."Are you okay?" he worriedly enquired. She felt her whole body heated by the expression in his eyes. His gaze was unlike anything she had ever felt. Though it was difficult for her to think straight, she could sense that they were getting close and that her mind was gradually starting to come back together. She got up and straightened her hair and clothing using all her strength. Her cheeks turned a brilliant pink, and she peered around them cautiously. Then she grinned at him while meeting his gaze. He closed his eyes to lessen his discomfort and smiled contagiously.

She drew in a deep breath as her eyes returned to the plant. She was suddenly aware that she hadn't been breathing correctly since waking up. She appears well today, though, and her heartbeat is steady. The water inside the Viridia Aquatica bloom was incredibly wonderful, even though there weren't many drops. She sighs and observes his pallid face and dry lips, feeling sad for him but unable to assist him.

They were both greatly affected by this abrupt shift in weather, and they both needed to recover and get a little more rest. She put the flower's petals back between her lips, shut her eyes, and began humming in the hopes that the music might release some of the tension in their bodies. She tried to make him smile even though she wasn't sure why she was singing.

He couldn't help but laugh as he opened his eyes once more and saw that she was humming. She was making a stupid face, which he thought was funny. At that, he laughed even more, and her blush brightened even more. He laughed till his body trembled with laughter and tears streamed down his face. She came to a halt and scowled at him. "What's so funny that sometimes you laugh so hard?" She made a demand.

"Nothing," he answered, continuing to chuckle a little. "It's just that I'm not used to seeing you sing this lovely song in such an absurd manner." He took a moment to wipe the tears from his cheeks before gathering the courage to speak again. "Which music are you humming?" His question was inquisitive.

She paused for a moment, and it suddenly occurred to her that she had only ever performed that song once, following her unconscious collapse from martial arts practice. She began humming it once more, and then, without realizing, she started dancing to the music.

(Verse 1) Golden rays decorate the skies, a celestial surprise, in the soft embrace of morning, where the sun rises.

We whisper the mysteries of day and night with every note we play, weaving the light in melodies so dazzling.

(Her hands are first clasped together at the level of her chest, then she softly unfolds and extends outward in "dawn's tender embrace." Moving forward in a smooth, modest step, mirroring the appearance of the rising sun.)

(Chorus) O Solariist song, let your melody flow through snow-capped mountains and verdant valleys.

We navigate our path in unison beneath the sun's unending dominance.

(As she sings "Let your music flow," she sweeps her arms high before lowering them tastefully to "valleys green and mountains snow." To represent harmony and flow, use a delicate, elegant step—almost like you're gliding.)

(Dance Interlude) She mimics the sun's beams by extending her arms outward and moving her fingers widely in flowing arcs above her head. going in circles, as though following the sun's passage across the sky.)

(Verse 2) As night tells its story, moonlit dreams call sweetly, and stars above dance like a cosmic curtain.

Our spirits soar in the stillness of the night.

In tunes that glimmer like the moon.

(Make a gentle gesture with your hands, cupped gently, towards the moon and stars. She reflects the peaceful and celestial quality of the night with her soft sways and turns.)

(Chorus) O Solariist song, let your melody flow through snow-capped mountains and verdant valleys.

We navigate in unison, beneath the mesmerizing glow of the moon.

(Repeat "O Solariist hymn," gliding overhead, then gracefully drop them to "Beneath the moon's enchanting sway." She keeps moving in a light, fluid manner while keeping her connection to the natural world and the heavens.)

(Dance Interlude): Gently swaying and fluttering hands and arms, reminiscent of leaves blowing in the wind. She moves fluidly, matching the slow breeze that the lyrics describe.)

(Bridge) The wind and water play in nature's symphony, echoing the earth in every chord we swing.

Unending energy exists in all living things.

Every note we sing is a melody of life.

(She makes an outward gesture, seemingly embracing life and the vitality of the natural world). While demonstrating the interdependence of all living things and moving in a grounded yet flowing manner.)

(Chorus) O Solariist song, let your melody flow through snow-capped mountains and verdant valleys.

We go through every moment, day or night, in harmony.

(She travels in a circle, signifying peace and togetherness. Reinforce your feeling of unity and connection with the cosmos by taking a few gentle steps in a circle.)

(Dance Interlude) (Mimic the orbits of stars and planets by tracing circular shapes in the air. She makes wider, sweeping movements to represent the majesty and expanse of celestial bodies.)

(Outro) Every song we write tells a story of grace and light, creating a hallowed place in our hearts of comfort.

May our melodies perpetually bloom, akin to blossoming flowers, within the Solariist symphony, where departed souls find refuge.

(She raises her hands to the sky, showing her connection to the holy and her respect for it. She embodies the serenity and spiritual elevation expressed in the Solariist hymn, standing both anchored and elevated.)

(Dance Finale) (At the end, she forms a circle and raises her hands to the sky, signifying her oneness with light and nature.)

"What song is this?" Rowan questioned again, observing her movements and attempting to make out the lyrics.

"The Echoes of the Stars, is the name of it. It entails discovering beauty and harmony in the sun and moon, which stand for the cycles of light and dark."

"You said you had never hummed this song before, didn't you?" Rowan made a demand.

Without a hint of hesitancy, she said in a beautiful, clear voice, "Yeah, I didn't know why and where I learned this song." Her tone was pleasant and mellow. With a quiet sigh of bewilderment, Rowan turned his gaze away from her.

"How do you feel?" Silently, he enquired. Given that neither the music nor the dance she performed were routines in Elysium, he appeared to be rather skeptical about her. This is not a component of the religion of Zephyrianism. They follow a religion called Zephyrianism in Elysium, which tells them that the wind is a channel for spiritual connection and bears messages from the gods. Elysians perform ceremonies in which they harmonize with the air currents in order to obtain favors and insights through their connection to the wind. The belief in the transformational power of both mild breezes and powerful storms, symbolizing the ebb and flow of life's journey, is central to Zephyrianism. But here she is pleasing the sun and moon, he thought.

Olivia regarded her with a frown. "Okay...I guess."

"Good," Rowan answered. He paused and gave her a contemplative glance.

He kept peering into her eyes as if he was trying to read something he couldn't figure out, and she moved her head and looked curiously into his. Perplexed, she enquired, "What is it, Rowan?"

Abruptly, he extended his right hand to touch her forehead, sensing the warmth that permeated her flesh. "You seem to be improving, Olivia," he replied, his genuine smile belying any hint of his genuine feelings. "That's good."

Her brow wrinkled slightly as she smiled back, unsure of what he meant. "Do we really need to wait till morning for this heat to subside?" Confused, she enquired.

"No," he sighed in response and withdrew his hand. He got up, took off his cloak, and moved in the direction of the cave's entrance. "I'll go out for a while and see what I can do."

She questioned, "Where are you going?" and made a slow movement before wincing in discomfort and sitting back down.

With brevity, he said, "To find Iggy," turning away. Without saying anything else, he slipped on his cloak, went outdoors, and vanished among the trees. Olivia stayed put after he went, thinking about his peculiar actions as she observed him go. What ailed him? She asked herself, then glanced about at the desolate clearing that surrounded her. Why was he behaving like this now? She was singing that song before; hadn't he been alright?

She thought to herself as she started dancing again that he seemed distant and uninterested in whatever she had to say. Her mind strayed, wondering where she was going, as she swung gently in circles.
