Chapter 22: Twenty Two

I swiveled and realized the figure to be Thomas that was looking at us angrily at a distance from us. I noticed he came to know who would get the plate and I noticed he was sad. I was terrified. I wanted to try talking but I didn't know what to say.

Was he not happy that the plate was snatched from me or what?

"Brenda, you're going to train tomorrow." He said staringly and my eyes closed up. What t... Did...

"But I got the plastic with the first rank number...."

I tried to talk to him and hold the plate tightly so it would be visible. But he still looks unhappy and stares at me.

"Truly, you did the task but you have to train more, you know where to see me right?" He left immediately. I stare at him I've as he disappeared into thin air. I was glad when I realized he is training me personally.

It will really be a good day's rest for sure.

I noticed Jack was unhappy and looked sad, since Thomas wants to train tomorrow I can't be with Jack.

But even if he did not ask me to train I can't still be with a monster.

Yeah, I won't have a cot that kind of incite not even in a decade. I can't. I saw that Vivian was swallowing her spit, and she was jealous.

I understood she was grabbing satisfaction with the fact that I am not going to have a break but also envious that this monster did not give her the plastic. And I'm going to be the first ranked.

"You have the first rank? Right? After that what next? It is just because you are a cheap slot evil can use her body to get things from a man." She said taunting but I was more overwhelmed than her rubbish.

I'm tired and have to take a nap to prepare for the personal training.

It was morning again and I saw Anthong on the training ground like yesterday. I needed to rest and recuperate for tomorrow's training. I was stunned. He grabbed my hand and took me away from the training ground.

Not until we reached a steep cliff foot that I noticed today that training will be mountain climbing.

"You can go now." He asked me to bring two rock gloves which I gave him.

"Thomas, I just need to climb to the highest peak huh?" I implored.

This is just the beginning he told me and air now in the environment and his gliffy voice bop into my ear.

"Sure if only you can get there before me." He looks at me and I open my eyes fast and wide staring at him. He looked away and told me to get started.

Immediately he told me I quickly started going to the cliff side to go up. At first, I was ahead of him but in a jiffy, he went up in tiny dust.

Immediately he noticed he ran again like it was not the first time trying. I clenched my flag and I ran to meet you but he was a bit faster.

We got to the peak at a different time which was a big interval and I was scared and I climbed roughly.

I place my foot on a dismantled rock and I lost focus beige I knew what was wrong I was going down at a fast velocity

"Ah!" I shouted

Thomas swieved after hearing my voice and wanted to help me but it was late.

I was pulled down already.

I was swiveling my hand if I could catch something but it didn't work I did not get anything till u landed on a sickening thud.

I fell to the floor in a trance. I fell unconscious, and I could hear some voices in my ear. It seems the work has stopped.

I noticed Thomas jumped down from the top of the mountain about ten meters away.

He was beside me and he checked if I was injured.

"Can you carry your legs?"

All my body aches with different pain and my right calm was badly injured. I noticed I couldn't move my leg

"Your shin has broken." Thomas massaged it softly and stared at me with a straight face.

Thomas held me more tightly and he held me close, making me feel his chest. I could hear his powerful yet stable heartbeat close to my ear.

This is the first time I'm this close to my mate

I survey him closely as he carries me with so much care, his well-built body, handsome face, and nice pack no wonder all the she-wolf flaunts around.

After some minutes we were in front of the dorm building.

It is occasionally a day off and it was a good day indeed, the building was empty and not inside. My mate positioned me on the bed.

"Make sure you rest for days at least a minimum of three days before you start training "

"Thanks a lot. I'm grateful to you."

"Don't bother." He said tensely.

"I will do what I did for you if it was someone else too." He told me as he quickly distance himself

I already understand what was wrong. He did not need to tell me

"Is alright," I said calmly.

"Please help me with the door when you leave," I said but he didn't reply.

He went toward the exit and when he reached the door he suddenly halted.
