Chapter 9: 9⁰Walking in the forest part 1

{ Spring Kingdom}

Bella

I can't believe it's been two months since I got married, I thought married life would be better than what I'm living I barely talk to Antony, and when we start to have a conversation he barely talks to me and less than a minute he's already off to settle the kingdoms affairs. I tried everything to make us a couple, or friends, but nothing worked.

I couldn't spend the rest of my life trying to make something better between us if he didn't want it to. I didn't have the strength for him to see that if we were friends we could come to various agreements. If we don't get to love each other, I wouldn't mind him sneaking around with someone else so that no one would know. For me to be badmouthed, being treated well by him would already please me, it would make my life easier enough that I wouldn't be worried about loving him or making him love me so that we could live a wonderful life.

Of course the time would come to have an heir, in a fraction of a second my eyes were already filled with tears, remembering my baby who did not come into the world destroys all my joy that I gathered little by little to get out of bed and continue.

With my heart aching from the memory revived I decided to venture anywhere my body wanted to take me. On the way to the stable I noticed that the kingdom around it is losing its beauty, the flowers are no longer well cared for. I walked over to the loofah flowers, they were colorless just like me. A servant soon comes to meet me.

- You need something, ma'am? -he asked, seeing that he was a servant outside the palace.

- I was just observing these beautiful flowers, that in the first weeks I came to live here, they were so beautiful when taken care of, but now without deserved attention they are turning into colorless flowers, dying little by little. -I vented.

- Are you talking about the flowers? Or the feelings in the chest? - he said, he is a wise man with the appearance of old age, white hair somewhere on his head with wrinkled skin.

- Both, my dear fellow. Life is being everything contrary to what I thought for myself. Sometimes I think I could have made other choices that would have led me to a less terrible fate. - I communicated, wiping away the tears that insisted on rolling down my face.

- I'm sorry that your life turned out the way you didn't want it to. - he said, stooping down beside me.

- Don't be sorry, things don't always turn out the way we want them to. Do you want me to bring the tools to take care of the flowers? - he asked, getting up.

- Please, bring this will help me forget my problems for a few hours. -I said, lifting the sleeves of my dress so as not to get muddy.

- Wait till I get back. - she communicated, going into the stable.

Looking at the huge beautiful garden even though it is not cared for as it should be. I decided that this would be my hangout so that I wouldn't get swallowed up in my room. I'll tie up my hair to make it more comfortable and not dirty.

- Here, ma'am.

- Thank you? - I asked

- Edgar, ma'am.

- Thank you Mr. Edgar, that's a nice name.

- Thank you ma'am for the compliment. - he said, putting his gloves on his hands.

- Are you going to venture out into the garden with me? - I asked, putting the gloves on as well.

- Of course, gardening is my passion.

- Good to know, you'll be in charge of the garden and have carte blanche to make this garden the most beautiful one.

- Thank you, you won't regret the trust you have placed in me.

After that we stayed in silence to take care of each flower, those I couldn't save more were taken to play somewhere else. There were several types of flowers but the most exotic ones that I got to know there were none. Their beauty was unequal in a level that the flowers here can't reach.

It should be because we are already used to them, it is in our blood to be interested in those that we cannot have or that are difficult to access.

- Point for now we've done what can be done. - I said taking off my gloves.

- Yes, now send for new flowers.

- Yes, do that. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go riding.

- Today? - Edgar inquired.

- Yes, I said. - I said. - Bring my horse.

I ran my hands over my dress, trying to get the dirt off it.

- Here, madam, is the horse. - said one of the servants bringing Light.

- Thank you, ma'am. - I said, lifting Luz out of the yard on the other side.

I mounted him and rode off into the forest where the border of the kingdoms are, I still hadn't forgotten about the white rose and the ice man.

I was in a complete bubble of thoughts, I couldn't do anything, I went to the palace kitchen to try to be useful. But the cooks are not comfortable with my presence. I could tell they didn't like having a person from another kingdom giving instructions. I loved cooking in my palace, the maids were already used to me, I helped them to prepare all the meals.

I went to the stable to get my horse, which is called Light, because when I was a child I got lost in the forest behind the castle, it was already night and I was sitting on the ground crying, and there came a horse all white, he was the light in that darkness, afraid I approached him, and to my surprise, he bent down for me to climb on him, I climbed up and grabbed me by the long white hair, lay down and sleep when I woke up I was already in my room on my bed, my mother said that the horse brought me to the stable where a servant saw and caught me.

I rode off as fast as I could, I loved the feeling of freedom when riding a horse and that was what I needed, riding a horse, I felt free, without the weight of a crown on my head. I was so lost in thought that I didn't even realize that I had already reached the border of the winter kingdom, without getting off the horse I looked at the landscape, it was beautiful, the bushes wet from the little rain that fell, the variety of flowers, the birds flying and singing, I confess that I feel envious of the freedom that the animals had. Because I could already feel the cold since it was the coldest kingdom, you can already tell by the name I have.
