Billy's " Wild Bill." POV

Amber was right. I did not want to cause her pain. I downed my first coffee and then grabbed another. I grabbed Shawn's cup and headed back to the bedroom. I could hear the shower going from outside the bedroom door. I sighed to myself. I hated what I was about to do. I knew if I did not do it right, it could cause her excruciating pain. Also, if she wasn't sure about the mark, it could possibly cause her to bleed to death, her body rejecting me. I walked in and set the coffee down. I walked into the bathroom and walked in.

" I got you coffee."

"Thank you, babe."

I got undressed. I joined her in the shower. She instinctively covered herself. I closed the distance between us and gently moved her hands.

I walked into the chapel where all my men had gathered.

"Let's get to business."

We are planning our gun run. We are meeting the Mexicans to deliver the guns that they have paid for already. We are going to do that tonight. We went over dues, the plans for the future, and how you were going to handle Shawn's grandfather. They decided to meet with him, then kill him if he tried to bring a war on his pack. That was if we could find him. They had already taken Shawna. We take care of our own, and Shawna is the Luna. Rabbit and Big Dog join us.

" Hey, boss, we noticed that Arthur has his warriors standing around Shawna's parents' house, but they are not there."

I knew her parents weren't there; they were on their way to Romania. I had them flown out yesterday. That was something that I needed to tell her as well. Just in case she went looking for them. I did not want to worry her. They knew that I would protect her for however long it took. She was mine, and nobody was going to hurt her. I was going to make sure of it. We ended the meeting. I sat there for a few minutes. Chris saw that I was just sitting there.

"What's up, boss?"

I explained to him that I marked Shawna, but I was hesitant because I did not want to hurt her.

" If you did it right, it would hurt her."

" I did it right, but it was the thought of making her bleed."

"I know, boss, but that's what we do."

I knew that. It had been hours since I last saw her. I had finished what I needed to do in the garage and had our meeting. I walked into the bedroom and noticed Shawna was in the shower again. I walked into the bathroom.

" Baby, what are you doing?"

" Taking a shower after working out today."

" Did you go shopping at all?"

" No, Amber and I trained for most of the day."

" You were supposed to take it easy."

She does not respond to me.
