When we were done with the architect and showed him the changes, we wanted to make I asked Dante and Luca to help me with the cases in Emilia’s car. Funny enough not Dante or I had her code for the safes in her car only Luca did. At least she trusts him. He opened the back safe and we got the suitcases. When that was in my safe Luca said “There is more boss.” “Seriously?” “Yes, those where just from the Columba Crime Family there is more from the Gambina Crime family.” “Fuck I thought we trusted Emilia but clearly she has the trust of all the families in Miami.” “It would appear so.” Dante said. We went back to her Porsch and retrieved the rest that was in the boots safe. When everything was safe in my walk in safe, I thank Luca and Dante and Dante and I walked up stairs to wake sleeping beauty. “You want to have the honors?” I asked Dante. “Off course.” Dante got on the bed leaned forward and kissed her on the forehead, “Angel you need to get up.” “Mmmm, I don’t want to.” She moaned. I got onto the other side of the bed, leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. “Sweetheart you said we need to wake you up in and hour I think we let you sleep for longer.” That got her to sit up straight in bed. “I’m awake, I’m awake.” She said which made me and Dante smile at her.

Emilia

When Dante and Antonio woke me from my fabulous nap, I didn’t want to get up but when Antonio said they let me sleep longer than an hour I jumped up. I was afraid I won’t be able to sleep through the night but I’m sure I would have. “Okay let’s go down stairs you guys owe me some news on Jose.” “Oh yes that.” Dante said smiling. “Please tell me I still have a client?” “Yes sweetheart, against our whishes but you still have a client.” I got up and the 3 of us walked downstairs. When we walked into the kitchen, I could smell the cook was making some sort of pasta with garlic sauce and my mouth was watering. When the 3 of us took a seat, I was the first one to say “Spill it.” “There’s not much to say sweetheart. We told him he shouldn’t put you in that kind of position.” “Rather say you threatened him not to do it again.” Dante chipped in. “Don’t overexaggerate Dante.” Antonio told him. “You did.” “Okay okay what did he say?” I chipped in “He said he won’t do it again.” Antonio told me. “That’s after Antonio told him if he ever does it to you again, he will kill him.” “I did not Dante stop making up stories.” “Fine that is what your face said.” Dante went on. I had to smile because this just felt so right them bantering around me and probable about me. “And the drugs?” “Oh, his coming to collect that before Friday.” Antonio told me. “Are you sure?” “Yes, Angel, we told him if he doesn’t, we are going to flush it down the toilet.” “Oh my God guys.” “What? If you want someone like him to listen you have to speak their language and that is what we did.” “Well, I’m glad I’m so afraid that it’s harmful for the baby, I know I’m being paranoid and it is in briefcases in my safe it’s not like it’s lying around in my office but still.” “We understand sweetheart and don’t worry we’ll get rid of it if it’s still there on Friday.” “Thank you for doing this guys I really appreciate it and thank you for not scaring him of too much.” “Well see.” Dante said.

Antonio got up and poured him and Dante each a glass of wine, “What can I get you sweetheart?” He asked me. “Coke Zero please for some reason it’s all I want to drink.” “Then it’s probable mine, Dante doesn’t put his mouth on any soda’s.” Antonio said with a huge smile on his face. Dante on the other hand wasn’t very happy. “Come on guys I though we are not going to worry about who the father is?” “Yes, yes sweetheart I was just making a joke, come on Dante even you can see that it was funny I’ve never seen you drink a soda in all the time I’ve known you.” “Yes, fine it’s true.” I decided to change the subject. “So, what’s happening with the plot next to yours Dante?” “Oh, jeez we forgot to tell you we’ve got it our offer was accepted so we can start building as soon as possible.” “Oh, that’s great news we should Saluti on that.” Antonio gave me my Soda and wine for him and Dante and then we raised our glasses, I decided I wanted to say something “On new beginnings and lots and lots of fun together.” “Hear hear.” Both of them said as we took a sip of our drinks. The cook put the pasta in front of us and I couldn’t help I had to dish up first I was not really hungry but with the food in front of me I got hungry very quickly.

While we ate, I realized I forgot to tell them about my OBGYN appointment. “Guys I forgot to tell you we have our first OBGYN appointment on Friday morning it’s with a Dr. Bavga.” “Jeez when last did I hear that surname?” “That was my thoughts exactly.” “Will you guys come with me?” “Off course sweetheart we want to be at every appointment and if there is a meeting and both of us can’t go one at least will.” “That’s great news thank you. Then the other thing I’m getting your guns tomorrow should I just bring them home or do you guys want George and Gio here when I bring them?” “To be safe let’s invite them over for dinner and then you can show them the merch as well.” Dante said. “Just as you wish, I can keep them in the safe at work as well until Friday the actual date you wanted them.” “No, the sooner we get it from you the better.” Antonio went on. “Well then tomorrow then, hopefully the twins are a bit civil towards me.” Both Antonio and Dante just looked at each other and then at me not really a very good sign.
